It is well known that carbon nanofillers (CNFs) enhance the stiffness, electric conductivity and thermal conductivity of polymers. Alignment of carbon nanofillers in polymer is expected to increase the performances in the aligned direction. Several papers have reported that applying alternating electric field to a liquid suspension including CNFs causes alignment of CNFs in the electric field direction. Only a few papers have reported the fabrication of nanostructurally controlled composites by using AC field, but the conditions to let CNFs align have not been investigated. In this study, unidirectionally aligned carbon nanofiller/epoxy composite was fabricated under AC electric field, and the alignment of CNFs was in-situ observed during fabrication by using an optical microscope. Then, the effects of applied voltage, frequency and the weight fraction of CNFs on nanostructure were investigated. As a result, it is found that CNFs in uncured epoxy resin align in the AC electric field and form a chain-like network, and that in the end the network structure is hold with cured epoxy. It is also shown that the applied voltage and weight fraction affect the morphology of the network. Furthermore, the network morphology was quantified by using texture analysis. Local homogeneity in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the AC electric field was used. It is found that there is strong relationship between the changes of local homogeneity and network morphology.

本稿では5GHz帯MIMOシステムの研究開発を目的として構築したMIMOソフトウェア無線機を紹介する.本無線機はベースバンド信号処理部に複数のFPGA・DSPを有しており, これらのソフトウェアおよびCPU上に実装された上位レイヤプログラムを書き換えることにより任意のMIMOシステムを実装可能である.また本無線機は5GHz帯において実験無線局免許を有しており, 本ハードウェアを導入することにより実環境において様々なMIMO通信方式の評価や, MIMO伝搬特性の測定を行うことができる.さらにハードウェアドライバとして無線セキュリティマネージャを実装することにより, 安全なソフトウェアのダウンロード, 認証, インストール, 実行管理(電波法に関連するパラメタの監視)を可能とするソフトウェア管理アーキテクチャを実現している.

Exposure mechanisms of a camera have been rapidly developped after the war.The original type of this exposure adjustment mechanisms of the camera was Semi Automatic Type (manual adjustment mechanisms by means of linking mechanisms in accordance with the indication of exposuremeter).And Automatic Type of exposure adjustment mechanisms called E.E.(Electric Eye) appeared.Now Electric Shutter Camera is the most popular.Further more the electric shutter camera with a flash photographic apparatous is popular as Full Automatic Camera.This paper reports technical tendency of exposure adjustment of camera in Japanese patent and/or utility model publications with their statistical graphs and examples.

Pharmacists need to have a clear policy for managing investigational drugs under circumstances that are consistent with Good Clinical Practice. We studied the management and support system for the clinical research of investigational drugs based on the management of investigational drugs. We experienced 126 cases of pharmaceutical consultations in 650 prescriptions for investigational drugs from April 1997 to March 1998. Seven cases which might induce a patient to drop out, were included in pharmaceutical consultations. We found it was important to communicate with all investigators regarding giving adequate prior information to having a clearly defined protocol. Our pharmaceutical program for the clinical research of investigational drugs was thus found to be useful in the management of investigational drugs.

今日,企業経営も環境問題を無視しては行い得ないようになってきた。法的規制をクリアするだけでは環境問題に対処できたとはいえない時代である。そこで,販売される商品が,場合によっては五十年・百年と使われる住宅の製造販売を行っている住宅産業が,この間題にどのように取り組んでいるかをこの産業界トップ2社を比較することで考察してみた。そして,企業としての収益を上げながら環境問題に対処するにはどのような問題点があるかを考えてみた。

症例は55歳の男性.数年前から近医で両側巨大肺囊胞症と診断され在宅酸素療法が導入されていた.労作時呼吸困難がさらに悪化し手術目的に当院紹介となった.%肺活量38.7%,一秒量470 mlと高度の低肺機能を呈していたが,残存肺血管床は温存されていると考え,経皮的心肺補助装置使用下に2期的に囊胞切除術を行った結果,肺機能は著明に改善した.

グリホサートによるスギナ防除に及ぼす生育ステージの影響を検討するため, 1/5000a ポットに生育させたスギナを供試して, グロースチャンバー内で実験を行った。栄養茎の生育初期(草丈3〜13cm・分枝前〜分枝始期), 栄養茎の生育盛期(草丈15〜25cm・分枝盛期), 栄養茎の衰退期(草丈15〜30cm・自然壊死始期)の3時期にグリホサートを処理した結果, スギナ防除には生育盛期の処理が最も有効であった。次に, グリホサートによるスギナ防除に及ぼす土壌水分ストレスの影響を検討するため, 土壌を乾燥させて栄養茎の先端部分が萎凋するまでストレスを与えた試験区と, 通常に灌水を行って土壌を常時適湿状態に保った試験区を設定してグリホサートを処理した結果, ストレスを与えたスギナよりも通常に灌水を行ったスギナの方がグリホサートの影響を強く受けた。

This paper discusses the uncertainty of the estimated population parameters in the hydrologic frequency analysis. Firstly, the changes of the distribution shape and the probable variate of a fixed recurrence interval are investigated using the observed hydrologic data. Next, when the population parameters of the normal distribution are regarded as the random variables, the method of estimation of the decrease degree of the uncertainty, which is measured by the entropy of the distribution in unknown expectation-known variance and unknown expectation-unknown variance, is developed in some detail. Besides, applying this method of estimation to the observed hydrologic data, the validity of this method is investigated. Finally, the possibility of the application of this method to the non-normal population is suggested briefly.

本研究により英語多読学習用の書籍群へYA文学やクロスオーヴァー文学を組み込み、その翻訳や関連書籍を日本語で読むことを奨励し、読書量の増加しようとする試みは容易ではないことがわかった。ただ2年間にわたり学生の読書傾向を追跡することにより、英語圏で人気のYA文学よりも、むしろなじみ深い「名作」や映画の原作の方が、学生の読書を増加させる傾向、さらには、1年次に多読専用図書以外に手が伸びた学生の多くが、大学入学以前より読書習慣を持っていること、さらには読書が好きでも「忙しさ」を理由に2年目には読書をしていないことなど、大学入学以前の読書習慣を生涯教育へとつなげていくために重要な情報を得ることができた。

アストロサイトは一般的に神経細胞よりも大きく,神経細胞の活動を集団的に調整することが報告されている.アストロサイトは,錐体細胞の発火により活性化され,活性化したアストロサイトは錐体細胞と介在細胞のどちらも活性化させる.しかし,その機能的役割についてはあまり分かっていない.そこで本研究では,小規模神経回路網の発火状態に対するアストロサイトの影響を明らかにするため,複数の錐体細胞と介在細胞からなる小規模神経回路網にアストロサイトを接続した数理モデルを用いて計算機実験を行った.その結果,アストロサイトがなければ非同期的ベータ振動をしていた神経回路網モデルが,アストロサイトからの入力によって同期的なアルファ振動を呈する状態に遷移し,さらに,同期発火する神経細胞群が創発される現象が観察された.
