The some of large city in the world have the Mall park in their hart of the city, for example The Mall in London, The Mall in Washington D.C , the Mall park in Sapporo, Hisaya Mall park in Nagoya. The objective of this study is to research and analyze the role and function of the Mall park in the city. this paper begin with obtaining the data of the shape and scale of the Mall park in Sapporo city and Nagoya city. As a result the shape and scale of the Mall park in Sapporo and Nagoya are almost same size, but the date of plan and construction was seventy years difference period. The Mall park in Sapporo is rather flat in shape and scale because of small number of large planted tree and structure existing. And also the place is used for the snow sculpture festival every winter seasons. The Mall park in Nagoya is three-dimensional shape and use because of planted large scale of trees and constructed pedestrian bridge and sculpture monument.

The dental tissue proportions of human permanent canines are one of only a few sexually dimorphic features that are present in childhood, and therefore offer the opportunity to estimate the sex of immature individuals. This work aims to evaluate for the first time the degree of sexual dimorphism in the three-dimensional (3D) measurements of deciduous canine dental tissues, to assess their potential in sexual assessment. Computed microtomographic techniques have been employed to analyse the maxillary and mandibular deciduous canines of 65 individuals (36 females and 29 males) of known sex and age. The teeth were scanned and the volumes and 3D surface areas of the enamel cup and the dentine–pulp complex were obtained. Our results did not show statistically significant differences in either the absolute or relative dimensions of the enamel and dentine between female and male teeth. We hence conclude that volumes and 3D surface areas of deciduous canine dental tissues do not allow for sex determination, which contrasts with what has been observed in permanent canines by other authors. The differences in the degree of sexual dimorphism in dental tissue proportions between permanent and deciduous canines seem to be due to a decrease in the intersexual variability of the dentine component dimensions. Since the dentine component is a tissue capable of responding to changes in sex hormone concentration levels, our results might indicate that hormones play a more important role in the development of sexual dimorphism in the permanent dentition than previously thought.

Non-Nuclear-Weapon-States (NNWS) must accept IAEA Safeguards to their all nuclear material in accordance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) but Nuclear-Weapon-States (NWS) do not have such obligation. From this point of view, the unbalance or discrepancy of NPT has been pointed out. Nuclear-Weapon-States conclude safeguards agreement on voluntary basis but inspections are implemented to very limited facilities. United Kingdom and France accept EURATOM safeguards to all civil nuclear material. Recently safeguards to excess nuclear material from dismantling of nuclear weapons and safeguards as verification system of Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty (FMCT) are under consideration. International system to keep nuclear material out of the use for nuclear weapons and other explosive devices is permanently necessary and it should have universality to be accepted by all states. This paper analyzes the present situation of safeguards in NWS and proposes the measures to realize universality of safeguards which dissolves unbalance and discrepancy between NNWS and NWS.

本研究では,鳥取県の一般診療所における生理機能検査を担当する臨床検査技師(以下,検査技師)の実態調査と将来の検査技師雇用についてアンケート調査を行い,一般診療所における検査技師の現状を明らかにすることを目的とした。アンケート調査票を鳥取県に所属する421施設の一般診療所に送付した。アンケート内容は雇用状況,生理機能検査の担当職種,実施項目,実施項目ごとの月平均検査件数,将来検査技師の雇用予定について質問した。返信があった115施設中,生理機能検査実施施設は102施設存在した。そのうち,8施設(7.8%)で検査技師が生理機能検査を担当していた。検査技師雇用施設での超音波検査における月平均検査数は,検査技師雇用のない施設と比較し有意に多かった(p < 0.001)。また,超音波や脳波,そして筋電図検査件数が多いほど,検査技師が雇用されている傾向であった。調査項目と技師の雇用状況を視覚的に解析できるコレスポンデンス解析を行い,検査技師雇用を検討している施設では,PSG検査件数が多い傾向であった。一般診療所での生理機能検査を生業とする検査技師の必要性が高まれば,医療の質や量について地域格差が示されている今日,生理機能検査の質と量を担保することに貢献できるのではないかと考えられた。

In the present study, the subjective evaluation experiment for abstract 3D shapes was conducted as the first step of construction of a system that allows non-design-professional users to design 3D shapes via subjective evaluation words intuitively. In particular, the structure of the subjective evaluation for 3D shapes and the reliability of the evaluation by non-design-professionals were examined. The results showed three-factor solution in which “Uniformity,” “Activity” and “Potency” factors were important evaluative standards in the subjective evaluation for 3D shapes. These factors are similar to Osgood's three factors, which were frequently reported factors in previous semantic differential studies. Furthermore, the subjective evaluations by non-design-professionals were generally consistent, which means that, with respect to the subjective evaluation, non-design-professionals without high level of design skills can evaluate 3D shapes in a reliable way.

〔目的〕大腸がん患者の周術期における体重減少に影響する要因を検討した.〔対象と方法〕大腸がん患者57例を対象に,手術前と術後10日目の体重,Short Physical Performance Battery(SPPB),6分間歩行距離,握力,骨格筋指数,体脂肪率を,手術後の離床経過として端座位獲得日,病棟歩行開始日を,栄養摂取状況として術後10日間における食事開始日,総エネルギー摂取量,エネルギー充足率を測定し,体重減少率との相関関係を検討した.〔結果〕体重減少率は骨格筋指数(r=-0.62)と体脂肪率(r=0.33)の変化量と有意な相関関係を認めた.その他の項目とは有意な相関関係を認めなかった.〔結語〕大腸がん患者において,体重減少の防止には骨格筋の維持と脂肪の燃焼が関連する可能性が示された.

住宅の断熱化には、外壁と比較して極端に性能が劣る窓の性能向上が重要となる。住宅では夜間帰宅してから暖房することが多いので、採光を考慮しなくてよい夜間に使用するカーテン等の性能を良くすると窓周りの性能が向上する。本研究では、次の3項目について検証し、窓周りの断熱性能を外壁の性能に近づける可能性を検討した。①サッシの断熱性能、②実住宅でのブラインドなどの窓廻りの付属物による省エネ効果、③断熱性能向上にための付属物の仕様と製品性能

The purpose of this study is to analyze indoor thermal environment of a highly insulated airtight house in seasonal hot-humid area. In this paper, shelter performance, indoor thermal environment, and energy consumption of a highly insulated airtight house installed with central ventilation system and ordinary houses were investigated in Kitakyushu. The major conclusions of this measurement are as follows. l)This house is excellent in heat insulating and airtightness compared with the ordinary houses. The heat loss coefficient per floor area of the house is 2.53 W/(m^2・K) and equivalent leakage area per floor area of the house is 0.94 cm^2/m^2 measured by the pressrization method. (0.56 cm^2/m^2 by the depressurization method) 2)There is a room for improvement in the indoor thermal environment on air-conditioning during the summer, because this house had no consideration for solar shading and there are some problems about the position of thermosensor for air-conditioning and the balance of the air-flow below the floor level. 3)It is efficient to use the ventilation system installed with a sensible and latent heat exchanger at a highly insulated airtight house diring both summer and winter.
