To examine the biological effects of extremely low frequency magnetic field (ELFMF), we have designed and manufactured a new equipment for long-term and high-density exposure of cells to ELFMF. The ELFMF exposure system consists of a generator of magnets with a bult-in CO_2 incubator, an alternating current (AC) power supply, a gas compressor and a thermocontroller for the incubator, and a cooling unit for the magnets. The CO_2 incubator made of acrylic resin is inserted into the inner-space of the silicon steel strip-cores. In this system, the temperature of the incubator is maintained at 37±0.5°C. The maximum magnetic flux density on the exposure area of the incubator is 500 mT (T; tesla) at a current of 556 Arms (rms; root mean square) at 50 Hz. The long-term (up to 120 hr) exposure of 400 mT ELFMF did not affect the growth of both HL6ORG and CCRF-CEM cells originated from human leukemia.

2011年度、三重大学教員免許状更新講習では、聴覚障害を有する教員に向けた学習支援を実施した。聴覚障害を有する教員の受講に際して、5項目の課題が明らかになった。すなわち、①情報の効率的な取得に関する配慮、②担当講師の授業展開や話し方の特徴に対する支援者の即応力、③速記者における熟達の度合いと講義内容の理解水準、④音声文字変換ソフト導入の可否、⑤受講者と支援者との関係性の構築、である。都市部とは異なり、地方の講習開設主体(大学等)は聴覚障害教育に関する専門職員を雇用できるとは限らない。しかしながら、各都道府県には聾学校があり、聴覚障害を有する教員も勤務している。それぞれの地域で、聴覚障害を有する教員が合理的配慮のもと教員免許状更新講習を受けられる体制の構築が喫緊の課題であり、三重大学における取り組みは、そのモデルケースとなり得るものであった。

映画が誕生して約120年の間に、イエスは「救い主」としてのイエス・キリスト、あるいは「ナザレのイエス」として、繰り返しスクリーンの中に登場し、その数は100本以上にものぼるが、一方で、アメリカ映画の中のイエス像は時代の移り変わりと共に常にその姿を変えてきたのである。あるときには絵画や聖書の挿絵で描かれてきたそのままの姿で登場し、またあるときには顔が映らないほど遠くから撮影されたり、後ろ姿のみで表現されたりした。また、あるときには「救い主」としてのイエスよりも俗世的な葛藤や弱さを持つ人間的なイエスが登場する。本稿はアメリカ映画におけるイエス像が時代と共にどのような変遷を遂げてきたのか、そしてそれはなぜなのか、という問いに対し、アメリカの社会状況や映画産業界における検閲の問題を軸にしつつ、一定の答えを模索するものである。

Recently, researchers and clinicians in psychology and medicine are showing keen interest in cognitive behavior modification (CBM) which has been developed based upon behavior modification but puts emphasis on cognition. The purpose of the present paper is to overview CBM, examine the present state of it, and suggest its future directions. The techniques, targets, and objects of evaluation, the theoretical basis, and the procedures of CBM, and so on were reconsidered. Suggested main future directions of CBM are as follows. (1) "Cognition" should not be considered as the explanatory concept but instead as the operational indepenent variable. (2) It is necessary to confirm if the belief system of the client changes when such cognitive techniques as "cognitive restructuring" and "self-instruction" are introduced. (3) Intrinsic studies concerning the nature of cognitive techniques are required. (4) The procedural validity and the effects of "imagery rehearsal" techniques should be more clarified. Cognitive behavior modification is a prospective approach, however, further research considering the above directions is needed to develop and refine it.

"The Purloined Ribbon" at the end of the Livre second of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Confessions is known for the possibilities of various readings. The two most outstanding readings are: psychoanalytic literary analysis and deconstruction literary analysis. The former does not differentiate the "narrator" from the "narrated" in the text. The latter denies finally the analysis of the unconscious level and neglects the importance of the first half of the text while it is bound for the speech-act theory. In short, the precedent analysis tends to rely on theories and lacks the careful textual analysis. In order to construct a more inclusive literary critique, this paper focuses upon the desire theme of "The Death of Mme Vercellis" for it allows us to see the complicated interactions in the text. The textual analysis reveals that the words place (position) and perte (loss for the death) in the first half of the text are used effectively to show the analogical relationship between Mme Vercellis and her servant Marion to whom Jean-Jacques makes a false accusation of the stolen ribbon. By doing so, the narrator extends the meaning of place and perte to signify the symbolic death of Marion and sees Marion identifying with Mme Vercellis. In other words, Marion has the necessity to suppleer (fulfill) the loss of Mrs. Vercellis and has a role as a substitution to morn the deaths of both Mme Vercellis and Marion. Therefore, the exceeding desire of the narrator shows the connection between the text of "death" in the first half and the text of Stolen Ribbon Incident in the latter half of the Episode. The ribbon Jean-Jacques purloined literally ties the two texts by representing his "desire" and "mourning" for Mme Vercellis and Marion. In this sense, the purloined ribbon is just like a Freud's "bobbin" in The Beyond of the Pleasure Principle.

本研究の目的は,公立小学校への英語導入に関して,教職の有無によって意識に違いがあるかどうかを明らかにすることである。2000年9月に本学大学院1年生215名(教職経験者134名,教職未経験者81名)を対象に,27項目から成るアンケートを用いて集団調査を実施した。集計結果は,分散分析,因子分析,x^2検定により分析した。その結果,公立小学校への英語導入の利点として,教職経験者は教職未経験者と比べると,英語導入によって,「内容を全体的に捉える力が伸ばせる」とも「広い視野と柔軟な思考力を養える」とも感じていないことが明らかになった。また,公立小学校への英語導入の問題点として,教職経験者,未経験者とも小学校での英語担当日本人教月の不足,1クラスの人数が多すぎることを問題点として捉えていることや,教職未経験者が地域に英語導入は当然という雰囲気があると感じていることがわかった。In 2002, English will be introduced to some public elementary schools as one of the alternatives under the newly started curriculum, General Studies. The purpose of this study is to compare how teachers and students in pre-service training feel about this movement. The survey was conducted in July of 2002 with 215 graduate school students of Joetsu University of Education (134 teachers and 81 teachers-to-be), using 27 questionnaire items. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, factor analysis and a chi-square test. The results revealed that: 1) teachers do not necessarily feel that English will enhance the flexibility of pupils' thinking; 2) both teachers and teachers-to-be feel that there are few Japanese teachers who could teach English at elementary school and that there are too many pupils in one class; and 3) teachers do not feel that introducing English into elementary school is strongly expected by pupils' parents and communities.

陰極材料に炭素系材料であるグラファイトナノファイバー(GNF)を用いた電界放射ディスプレイ(FED)を検討している。今回、ガラスフリットを用いた窒素雰囲気中での封着プロセスによりパネル化し、動画像を表示して良好に動作することを確認した。また電子放出特性の測定も行い、次世代に向けた大画面・高精細・薄型ディスプレイとしての実現性を示した。

1. The present paper deals with Penicillium rots of Satsuma orange (Citrus unshiu), which occur in storage or transit. 2. As the fungi causing the rots were found P. italicum, P. digitatum, P. expasum and P. n. sp.; their occurrence being estimated at 89% for P. italicum, 73% for P. digitatum, 0.9% for P. expansum and at 28% for P. n. sp. 3. Among those four Penicillia, P. italicum and P. digitatum are parasitic on citrus fruits but others are able to attack citrus, apple, pear, persimon and grapes. 4. As the method of control are recommended the fruits immersion in two to five per cent of borax solution for five to seven minutes. 5. For Penicillium n. sp. causing citrus rot, P. fructigenum is proposed; its characters are briefly described as follows : (snip)抑々柑橘果實は本邦生産果實總産額の29%に當り其の主位を占むるものにして, 大正十三年農商務省統計に依り之を見るに日本内地の柑果生産額は總計75,000,000貫にして其の價格25,000,000圓, 其の中輸出額2,320,000圓に達し毎年逐次増加の傾向を示すものなり, 而して此等の貯藏中若しくは輸送中腐敗菌に因る腐敗額は決して少からざるものにして TRUE 氏に依ればレモンは貯藏中16週間に69%の腐敗を來し其の中青徽によるもの52%に及ぶとなし, 和状山縣農事試驗場の調査によれば温州蜜柑の北米への輸送に於て陸揚げ當時の腐敗率6.7%, 其の一ヶ月後に於て29.6%, 尚丁寧に取扱ひたるものすら其の一ヶ月後には21%の腐敗を示すとせり。又柑山氏の調査にては完全なる貯藏庫に於ても尚腐敗果の歩合は四月下旬に31%に及び五月上旬に至れば41%に達すと云ふ。餘も亦福岡縣青柳村及大阪府下山瀧村の貯藏庫に就き調査せるに何れも20乃至25%の腐敗あるを知れり。要するに近時貯藏庫の數は全國的に増加し其の貯藏柑果の額も次第に増加すると共に腐敗する額も亦大なるべきを免れず。若し年産額の半を貯藏なすとし其の腐敗を15乃至20%となせば其の損害實に年額2,5000,000圓に達すべし。元來柑果を腐敗せしむべき原因殊に病原菌には種々あり, 然れども Penicillium 菌に依るものを以て重且つ大なるものとなす。餘は大正十二年來柑果を腐敗せしむる Penicillium 菌に付きて研究し其の種類及分布を明らかにし且つ防除法に付きて究むるところありたり。

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the method of restoring a town as pictures based on memory. From the point of connecting the history of a town, the method of making the images using CG is effective as follows. The first is that the process of remembrance serves as the opportunity for residents to find out a self root. It is great support throughout their life. The second is that residents can make recollections clear by using CG. But it does not lead to remembering newly. The third is that the made pictures affect people who are not participating in work. On other people who look at them for the first time, it is recorded as new memory and shared.

A field experiment was carried out to elucidate the effect of chicken manure (CM) and effective microorganisms (EM) on the yield of corn and chemical and microbial properties of acidic wetland soils. A split-split plot experimental design with three replications was used in this research. The main plot consisted of two types of soil. The sub-plot was for the application of CM, while the sub-sub plot was for the application of EM. Sweet corn seeds were planted and cultivated until harvest. Above ground plant biomass and round of the stem of an ear of corn were observed. Soil samples were taken and analyzed for chemical and microbial properties. The results showed that the interaction between soil types and CM application affected the corn yield, while EM had no effect. Similarly, the chemical and microbial characteristics of soils used were affected by soil type and the application of CM, while the effect of EM was not clear.

本研究の目的は,美術鑑賞学習におけるメタ認知の役割を明確にすることである。その方法は,まず先行研究のレビューから,美術鑑賞学習とメタ認知のかかわりについて,発達や熟達化,転移,学習者の資質の観点から考察する。また,鑑賞スキルや思考の構造化を方略的知識としてメタ認知するよう促す事例を示し,美術鑑賞学習におけるメタ認知の有効性と今後の研究課題を検討する。その結果,鑑賞スキルを方略的知識としてメタ認知することが中学生以降において可能であることを確認し,また,知識や思考の構造化を方略的知識としてメタ認知することが熟達化や転移を促し,鑑賞の深化にも有効であることを指摘した。一方,メタ認知の精度と鑑賞の質,そして多様な学習者や環境などとの相関分析が今後の課題であるとした。

This study aims to provide the fundermetal infromation of temproary housing cousntermeasures after the Tokyo Metropolitan Earthquake. In this study, a calculation step for grasp distribution characteristic of vacancy on rental housing which can be used after the earthquake was developed. The results are as follows; 1) approximately 70 thousand vacancies of rental housings are damaged, and approximately 1 million vacancies are remained after the Tokyo Metropolitan Earthquake. 2) From comparison of remained vacancies with households who lose their houses, many victims in central area will move to outskirts of Tokyo.

本報告では、画像処理による位置検出技術を用いた新たな画像提示の環境、“ViewFrame”システムを提案する。本手法は、「窓越し現実感」というコンセプトの下に、窓の代わりに設置したディスプレイ上に、ユーザの視点移動に伴い変化する窓越しに見える景色をシミュレーションして提示するものである。本システムはリアルタイム性が強く求められるために、グラフィックボードのピクセルシェーダ機能を用いて、ハードウェアによる画像処理の高速処理を行った。本システムにより、自然なインタラクションで景観の奥行き知覚や3次元物体の形状認識が容易になる。また、本システムの実装例として「借景」を制作したのであわせて報告する。 : An interactive image viewer, “ViewFrame”, by means of image-based position sensitive detector is proposed. In this paper, the new concept, “window-though reality”, is introduced. A window in a room is replaced with a LCD or another flat screen, and this system displays a view-depended CGI scenery that would be seen from an observer. This system is required to react to user’s action in real time; therefore the image processing is implemented by means of pixel-shader functions for GPU to accelerate the process. This system makes it possible to recognize the depth of image and three-dimensional shapes easily by natural man-machine interaction. An application of this system, “ Shakkei”, is also reported.
