Socioeconomical and psychological influences to the operated patients with low back pain were studied from 1976 to 1977 by means of questionnaires.Operated patients had been heavily suffered from economical loss for average six to eight months of work-off time which was statistically correlated with the duration from admission to returning to work and the operated method. However, the loss was not related to the postoperative medical evaluation and the patient's satisfaction to the operation as of psychological reaction.The fear of the recurrence was statistically forced their jobs into lighter work.Posterior appooach for aged female was revealed to be made carefully for psychological problem.

We have been studying the aplication of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for railway vehicle traction in order to reduce the weight and size of direct drive traction motor. As a part of this study establishing a current control system of PMSM suitable for railway vehicle traction should be investigated.In this paper we discuss about designing method of current control system mentioned above and suggest a method which is available under the condition of railway vehicle traction, low switching frequency and long digital calculating period. Next we investigate how to decide current response time constant Td and reach a conclusion that it is about 10ms is appropriate under some assumed condition. Then we checked this current control system for railway vehicle traction through experiments and studies of influence of parameter changing. Consequently we can recognize the current control system has satisfactory performance for railway vehicle traction.

This paper deals with the high-frequency equivalent circuits of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) driven by a PWM inverter. The leakage current (common-mode current) flows through stray capacitance among stator windings and iron core (frame) of an synchronous motor at the switching instants of inverter transistors. A high-frequency equivalent circuits of PMSM are derived based on the frequency characteristics of the high-frequency zero-phase-impedance and line-to-line-impedance of synchronous motor. The validity of the proposed equivalent circuit is confirmed by simulation considering parasitic capacitance of the inverter.

This paper examined adhesive properties of steel coating alkid-melamine film (silica content 30 wt%) that has the relations between surface treatments of steel coating and thickness of steel coats. Especially we experimentally studied the influenced factors of adhesive properties between steel surface treatments and strength of coating film by using the interfacial cutting system (Saicas method).

ヒ素は飲水への混入が問題となっている環境汚染物質であり,疫学調査では高濃度汚染地域における児童のIQ低下が報告されている.動物実験においても,発達期(胎児期-授乳期)のヒ素暴露により離乳後に自発運動減少,記憶力低下,それに伴ったモノアミン濃度の変化といった発達神経毒性(DNT)が認められ,DNT試験法のバリデーションにおける陽性対照物質の1つに挙げられている. 我々はヒ素の神経発生初期への影響を検討する目的で,ラットの器官形成期(妊娠9-15日)にヒ素を投与し,投与直後の妊娠16日に胎児脳を観察し,ヒ素の直接的な神経発生への影響を検討してきた(第51回日本先天異常学会学術集会).その結果,母動物には体重増加抑制などの重篤な毒性が観察されたが,胎児死亡率,胎児体重に影響はなかった.また,組織中の含量分析の結果,ヒ素の胎児脳への移行は確認されたが,胎児脳の神経上皮細胞において細胞死の誘発は認められず,また,神経幹細胞の分裂能にも影響は認められなかった.今回,さらにヒ素暴露による胎児脳のモノアミン神経発生への影響について免疫組織学的方法を用いて詳細に検討した. Tyrosine hydroxylase陽性細胞の分布は,その神経核である腹側被蓋野および黒質緻密部で変化はなく,その投射先である線条体,大脳皮質における線維にもヒ素暴露の影響は認められなかった.一方,背側縫線核および正中縫線核のSerotonin (5-HT)陽性細胞数の減少が観察された.連続切片による詳細な観察から,5-HT陽性細胞の分布様式に異常はなく,全体的にその数が減少していることが明らかとなった.この結果から,胎生期のヒ素暴露は発生初期の5-HT神経細胞の発生に影響を及ぼすことが示唆された.

In this study, we have developed a chip-surface stimulus electrode array for fully-implantable subretinal prosthesis chip. To realize visual restoration with high resolution, stimulus electrodes should be miniaturized and arrayed with high density. When we miniaturize them, however, their electrochemical impedances become higher and their amount of charge injection become smaller. Additionally, as the number of electrodes increases, it becomes difficult to make electrical connection to each pixel of the retinal prosthesis chip and each electrode by electrical wiring. To overcome these problems, we have developed the stimulus electrodes that have low electrochemical impedances and large charge injection capacities, and established a fabrication process of chip-surface stimulus electrode array. We fabricated the stimulus electrodes made of extremely porous platinum which had large-surface-area compared with conventional Pt. We also fabricated the chip-surface stimulus electrodes array on the subretinal prosthesis chip which surface was rough and covered with insulator film.

We describe a new species of Tylototriton from northwestern Vietnam and northern Thailand based on morphological and molecular evidence. Tylototriton anguliceps sp. nov. is distinguishable from all the other congeners by the bright to dark orange markings on the head, body, and tail, prominent dorsal and dorsolateral ridges (crests) on the head, skeletal connection between maxillary and pterygoid, and unique mitochondrial and nuclear DNA sequences. Our molecular data show that the new species is nested within the clade comprising T. uyenoi, T. shanjing, T. verrucosus, and T. yangi. The new species is expected to be recorded from other countries in the Indochina region such as southern China, western Myanmar and northern Laos in the future.

We assessed taxonomic relationship of Tylototriton daweishanensis Zhao, Rao, Liu, Li and Yuan, 2012 and T. yangi Hou, Li and Lu, 2012 using mitochondrial DNA sequence data and found them to be as closely related as to be regarded as conspecific. This result, together with available morphological information, strongly indicates that T. daweishanensis is a junior synonym of T. yangi.

Purpose: The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of massage therapy on the masticatory muscles and occlusal splint usage on quality of life and pain in individuals with sleep bruxism. Method: A randomized, controlled, blinded, clinical trial was conducted involving 78 volunteers aged 18 to 40 years with sleep bruxism. Quality of life and pain assessments were performed. Results: Significant differences (p < 0.05) were found on the physical functioning, general health state, vitality, role emotional and mental health subscales. A large effect size was found for all treatment protocols with regard to pain. The largest effect was found in the combined treatment group. Conclusions: The findings of the present study reveal that the occlusal splint usage alone led to improvements in components of quality of life among individuals with sleep bruxism. Moreover, both treatments (occlusal splint usage and massage therapy on the masticatory muscles) led to a reduction in pain.

Sharing and managing knowledge on human Kansei obtained in several study fields are of growing significance to providing product's values focused on customers. However, few sufficiently-advanced technologies that realize such knowledge sharing and management have been established. One typical approach is to clarify and systematize concepts as an ontology. In the current study, we developed an ontology to describe correspondence of affective meaning spaces analyzed by semantic differential method. First, we collect literatures reveal the affective meaning evaluated through the five senses and their inter-modality. Second, we described the concepts on the basis of an ontology of color emotions. Then, we demonstrated and evaluated the usefulness of the ontology in a design situation. As a result, we confirmed that the ontology will serve as a useful reference and be of assistance to designers.

自治医科大学地域医療学センターは, 平成25年度より栃木県小山市で始まった「小山の地域医療を考える市民会議」の活動を行政と共に支援してきた. 行政・医療者・市民が市民会議で担う役割を明確にし, とくに市民が無理なく市民会議の主役を担えるように活動の企画や運営の支援を行ったことが, 市民の意識変化や市民会議の活性化に繋がったと思われた.

スペクトルインバージョン手法に基づき加速度フーリエスペクトルから分離抽出された強震動特性の性質について詳細な検討を行った。伝播経路特性としてのQモデルについて既往の研究と比較し、減衰傾向の新たな知見が得られた。また、サイト増幅特性の方位依存性について検討したが、約2Hz以上の高周波域でNS/EW比が2倍 (あるいは0.5倍) 程度になる観測サイトがあることがわかった。分離した震源スペクトルからコーナー周波数fcを読み取り、Brune (1970)の応力降下量および短周期レベルAを計算した結果、川瀬・松尾 (2004)の先行研究との間に顕著な差はないこと、本震と余震の応力降下量には地震モーメント依存性がみられること、壇・他 (2001)の地殻内地震の短周期レベルとは回帰式にもばらつきに対するt検定にも有意な差があること、佐藤 (2003)の短周期レベルとは地殻内地震のばらつきに対するt検定を除いて有意な違いがないことがわかった。

東日本大震災により発生した大量の廃棄物を迅速に処理することが難しいとの判断により,他の自治体での廃棄物処理の枠組みが提案された.協力したいという意見の一方,受入れる災害廃棄物が放射能に汚染されているのではないか,放射能被害が出るのではないかとの意見も存在する.このような状況下で,最初に受入れを表明した東京都は住民説明会を開催した.本研究はこの住民説明会を対象とし,放射能リスクに対して人々がどのような情報を必要としているのかを明らかにした.解析の結果,人々の属性によって欲している情報に有意な差があることがわかった.また,説明される情報と参加者が欲している情報にギャップがあることも明らかになった.

木酢液から燻煙香料の抽出を目的として研究し,次の結果を得た。(1) 木酢液から燻煙香料の抽出条件を検討し,抽出溶剤の選択と樹種別および製法別木酢液の抽出物について,各燻香,収率,成分組成を比較した。(2) ガスクロマトグラフィーにより木酢液の溶剤抽出物中のフェノール類,有機酸類およびカルボニル化合物の各成分を同定した。(3) 燻香に関与する成分を推定した。(4) 木酢液は燻煙香料の重要な原料であることを確認した。

The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of low calorie content in Japanese consumers’rice purchasing decisions. The Choice Modeling (Random Parameter Logit Model) is used to quantify the welfarechange associated with the change in the level of low calorie content label, local origin label, price attributes for a sample of Japanese consumers taken in March 2009.The consumer has a positive perception of local origin label. The average evaluation of the low calorie content attribute is negative (−116 yen/5 kg). However, half of samples have a positive perception of low calorie content. Their willingness to pay for low calorie content range from 800 to 900 yen/5 kg. The results suggests that latent demand for low calorie labeled rice is limited.
