Weapons described in the Mahabharata war are sword, spear, club, axe, and supernatural weapons of fantastic image, etc. However, bows and arrows are so often referred. Instead arrows have various kind of name, we don’t know they are different or same definitely. In this paper I focus on a kind of arrow named nārāca. In the Mahabharata arrows are mostly śara or bāṇa. These two words mean “reed” too and some scholars think that these arrows are made of reed. Some arrows in Sanskrit may have shape characteristic and we can distinguish them in form. Some dictionaries teach us that nārāca is an iron arrow. And I will argue following questions. Who use it? To whom it is used? Which kind of words; verbs, nouns and adjectives, are used with it?

With the advent and widespread of web-based manga, expressions that differ from traditional paper-based manga haveoften been observed. "Vertical scrolling manga", which readers scroll vertically, is at the core of such new formats ofexpressions. Here, we argue the following two terms to use. One is "条漫" (in Japanese: jouman, in Chinese :Tiaoman), whichis generally used for vertical scrolling manga in Chinese, and another is " 頁漫" (in Japanese: pejiman, in Chinese :Yeman),traditional paper-based manga.Also in this paper, we reexamine the concept of pages, which is usually defined by the physical conditions of paper media.Therefore, in reading a certain panel of manga, when the series of panels that the readers have to read to understand theone in question match the frame of upper level that is consists of panels in eyeshot, we newly define the frame as a page.This redefinition of the page concept provides an understanding of the essential difference between" jouman" and" pejiman".

〔目的〕本研究は不安定面上での片脚立位時のライトタッチの効果を,足圧中心動揺と下肢筋の筋活動から検討することを目的とした.[対象と方法]対象は健常男子大学生13名とした.支持なし(フリー),ライトタッチ(1 N以下の接触),フォースタッチ(5 N以上の接触)の3条件で,足圧中心動揺と6つの筋の筋電図を測定した.〔結果〕総軌跡長,矩形面積,実効値面積は,フリー条件に比べ,ライトタッチとフォースタッチが有意に低値を示した.またライトタッチ条件に比べ,フォースタッチが有意に低値を示した.大殿筋,大腿二頭筋,前脛骨筋,非腓腹筋の筋活動においては,フリーとライトタッチ時の%RMSに有意差はなかった.〔結論〕片脚立位中のライトタッチは,下肢筋の筋活動を減少させずに,足圧中心動揺を減少させる効果があることが示された.

The aim of this article was to review the researches on abnormal psychology for depression, and to figure out how to develop the researches in the future. Recently, depression has become a major social problem. Especially, relapse prevention is the most important factor of the depression care. There, we reviewed the researches on abnormal psychology referring the relapse prevention of depression by focusing on the researchers who are active on this field. The main topics of the present article were below: the emotional processing theory by John D. Teasdale, the first person who has focused on the relapse prevention of depression, 2) the researches that substantiate the theory, and the distinguishing phenomenon related to the relapse, 3) the researches on the effect and mechanism of MBCT that is developed for the relapse prevention of depression, and 4) the research trend of Ed Watkins and Jutta Joormann who lead the recent growth of the abnormal psychology on the depression, and the relations between their theory and the MBCT. At the last, the future directions of the researches on the relapse prevention on depression were discussed. Furthermore, it was noted that the perspective which was necessary to understand the mindfulness was beneficial when think of emotion regulation too.

目的:歯周病は歯周病細菌により引き起こされる炎症性疾患であり,発症により唾液中の酸化ストレスマーカーが上昇,治療により減少することから,活性酸素が関与する疾患の一つと考えられている.本研究では,軽度から中等度の歯周病を有するボランティアを対象に,ユビキノール(還元型コエンザイムQ10)の摂取が歯周組織の臨床症状,口臭,唾液の抗酸化能に及ぼす効果を検討することを目的とした.材料と方法:被験者を2群に割り付け,実験群には還元型コエンザイムQ10(50mg)を含むサプリメントを,対照群にはプラセボを毎食後摂取させ,4,8週後に口腔内診査,口臭検査および唾液の採取を行った.成績:投与前後での臨床症状では,実験群でプラークの付着程度およびプロービング時の出血点の割合,対照群でプロービング時の出血点の割合に有意な低下が認められた.抗酸化能は,実験群ではやや増加したが,対照群では有意な低下がみられた.口臭の評価では,実験群で低下する傾向がみられた.結論:本結果から,還元型コエンザイムQ10の服用は歯周病による口腔内の症状改善に有用である可能性が示唆された.

The processes of socialization and personalization were reexamined from the viewpoint of adjustment, and two concepts: social orientedness and individual orientedness, were proposed to capture the two processes. The main purpose of the current study was to construct a scale to measure social and individual orientedness, and examine its reliability and validity. Firstly, seventeen items were selected for the scale through item analysis, then its reliability was estimated with 310 male and 402 female students, using the split-half and test-retest methods. Factor analysis of the items yielded two factors. Secondly, validity of the scale was examined; those same subjects filled Self-consciousness scale and egogram test (TEG), Sociometrix-test, data on personal troubles, and teacher's judgement score on personal troubles were obtained. The results showed that the concepts were effective in measuring both personal trait and developmental level, and that social orientedness concerned the orientation to others and the external (interpersonal) adjustment, while individual orientedness was for the self and the internal.

In this study, we estimate the potential electricity volume and solar photovoltaic power generation profitability using abandoned agricultural land in Hokkaido. We assume the introduction of photovoltaic power generation facilities on all abandoned agricultural land in Hokkaido and perform the cost-benefit analysis of the investment for solar photovoltaic power generation facilities under the feed-in tariff scheme. The results show that the return of investment for solar photovoltaic power generation facilities was higher than the total investment cost.

南北朝期に編纂された,青蓮院流の記録集である『門葉記』は,中世建築指図を多数含む,中世建築史上重要な史料である。青蓮院に尊円親王自筆本を主とする原本州伝来しているが,流布している図版は写本によるものであるため,原本図版による指図集を作成し,指図研究の基礎史料とする。『門葉記』修法記録のデータベースを作成し,図版整理に活用する。同じく代々青蓬院門主に伝領されてきた『吉水蔵聖教』についても,指図を抽出し,図集を作成する。『吉水蔵聖教』指図と『門葉記』指図とを比較し,両者の書写関係を明らかにすることによって,『門葉書割の指図作成過程を考察し,『門葉記』の指図の特徴を多角的に論じる。

水棲生物を系統樹から形態学的に分類すると彼らの遊泳運動メカニズムが大まかに分類できてくる.さらに生活形態を見ると運動形態が自ずと定まってくる.彼らの運動メカニズムは大きく揚力推進メカニズムと抗力推進メカニズムとに二分できる.前者は恒常的に遊泳するもの,後者は逆に常日頃は不活発であるが,非常時には瞬発力を発揮できるものである.生活形態が中心となって,自然淘汰によって生活に関わるエネルギーが最小になるように運動モードが決定しているようである.本解説ではそれぞれのメカニズムを述べると共に,さらに分類できるものは具体例を挙げて詳細な運動メカニズムを述べている.

黒毛和牛肉に特有な好ましい香りである和牛香に寄与する香気成分を明らかにするために,和牛肉と輸入牛肉(豪州産)から連続水蒸気蒸留により香気画分を取得し,ガスクロマトグラフィー分析,ガスクロマトグラフィー-マススペクトロメトリー分析,ガスクロマトグラフィー-においかぎ分析を行った.分析の結果,ラクトン類5種,ケトン類5種,アルコール類8種,不飽和アルコール類3種,エステル類2種,脂肪族アルデヒド類9種,脂肪族不飽和アルデヒド類8種,酸類2種,その他6種の計48成分が同定された.このうち,40成分は輸入牛肉より和牛肉に多く検出され,特にラクトン類は和牛肉に著しく多かった.同定された成分についてAEDA(Aroma Extract Dilution Analysis)法により香気寄与率を示すFD factor(flavor dilution factor)を求め,香気特性と合わせて和牛香への寄与を検討した.その結果,和牛香の甘さには,ココナッツ様,桃様の香りを有するラクトン類が寄与し,脂っぽさには脂臭い香りを有する一部のアルコール類やアルデヒド類などと,バター様の香りを有するジアセチルやアセトインなどが寄与していると推定された.

テレビ中継局用放送機を利用して親局から送られてくる電波を中継するのみでなく, 中継放送局が設置された地区のローカルプログラムを放送する方式を完成するとともに, 変調器をスタジオにおき, 中継放送局ではただ周波数変換作用のみ行ない, 音声および映像信号を取り扱わないですむ, まったく新規な方法を採用することにより, 合理的なローカル放送システムができ上がったことを報告する.
