葉酸代謝拮抗薬(トリメトプリム,トリアムテレン,抗けいれん剤等)は神経管閉鎖障害児妊娠等の危険を押し上げる.妊娠前からの葉酸サプリメント服用はこれら奇形の危険を減少させるとともに,ダウン症児妊娠を減少させる可能性がある.葉酸入りビタミン剤の長期服用は高血圧,大腸癌,乳癌の発症抑制の可能性が指摘されている.高ホモシスティン血症は血栓症,心筋梗塞,痴呆,鬱血性心不全,骨粗鬆症性骨折等の危険因子であるが,葉酸強化食品の摂取は中高年の血中ホモシスティン濃度を低下させる.したがって,葉酸サプリメント服用はこれら疾病予防に効果が期待できる.実際,高齢日本人において葉酸とビタミン B12 服用が骨折予防に有効であることが証明された.葉酸含有天然食品からの葉酸摂取は赤血球内葉酸濃度上昇に関して葉酸サプリメント服用に比し有効でないことが証明されている.葉酸状態改善のためには葉酸サプリメント服用が強く勧められる.

振幅変調に基づく音響データハイディング技術を用いて,スピーカから再生される音に同期して情報を呈示するシステムを提案する.振幅変調に基づく音響データハイディング技術の特徴は,数秒の埋込時間フレームを用いて,広い周波数範囲にデータを埋め込むことによって残響や反射音,変動する付加雑音に対して頑強な点である.データ埋込済み音楽信号に対してPEAQを用いた音質劣化の客観評価を行った結果,劣化は平均的に「やや気になる」以下であることが分かった.また,データ埋込済み信号への残響及び背景雑音付加,入力過大による振幅制限,カラオケ伴奏と同期した歌詞表示利用を前提とする歌唱音の重畳による検出力への影響を,コンピュータシミュレーションによって調べた.その結果,それらの変形を経た信号からも,十分埋込データの検出は可能であり,表示の時間制御のもととなるデータフレーム境界時刻の検出精度も十分であることが分かった.

The decrease of nitrite in ham during cooking process was investigated.Hams containing 64.1mg/kg of nitrite were used to estimate the decrease of nitrite.60 percent of nitrite was decreased after boiling ham in water for 20 seconds. But after boiling in water containing one weight percent of vinegar or sake, only 30 percent of nitrite was decreased.After soaking ham in water at room temperature for 1 minute,60 percent of nitrite was decreased. Fifty percent of nitrite was decreased by sauteeing with butter or margarin for 30 seconds, and only 30 percent of nitrite by sauteeing with corn oil.Consequently, fair amount of nitrite was removed from hams during the simple cooking process.

<p>サハラ以南のアフリカは,いわゆる無文字によって特徴づけられてきた。しかし無文字社会というのは,文字のある社会から文字を除いただけの社会なのだろうか。実際に現地で調査をしてみると,そうではなく,われわれの想像もつかないようなものがコミュニケーションの手段として機能していることがわかる。本稿では,私が現地で調査したもののうち,モンゴ族の諺による挨拶法と太鼓による長距離伝達法,テンボ族の人名によるメッセージ伝達法と結縄,そしてレガ族の紐に吊るした物による諺表現法を紹介し,無文字社会が如何に豊かな形式的伝達法を持ちコミュニケーションを行っているかを明らかにする。無文字社会では,言語表現が十分定形化せず,いわば散文的になるのではないかという一般的想像とは逆に,むしろ彼らのコミュニケーションは形式的であり韻文的である。それは文字がないことへの対応様式であり,共時的に,そして世代を通して伝達をより確かなものにする努力の表れと理解できるのである。</p>

〔目的〕心疾患患者に実施する場合のために高強度のレジスタンスエクササイズ時の収縮期血圧,自律神経活動の変化について検討した。〔対象〕運動習慣の無い健常人における健常男性11例とした。〔方法〕臥位伸展挙上を用いて1RMの80%の負荷で10回を目標に施行した。運動負荷前後の収縮期血圧,自律神経活動を分析し,比較検討した。〔結果〕収縮期血圧は挙上回数をますほどに上昇する傾向を示し,LF/HF値は運動により安静時より有意に増加し,運動終了後5分が経過してもやや亢進状態が継続した。〔結語〕健常者における高強度のレジスタンスエクササイズ後の交感神経活動の結果から,高強度のレジスタンスエクササイズを心疾患患者に実施する場合,心疾患患者の安静時から持続的な交感神経活動の亢進状態に加え,運動終了後の交感神経の持続的な亢進状態も加わる可能性があるため,留意する必要があると考えられた。また,血圧上昇と交感神経活動の上昇点に一致した活動が見られた。

We propose the Spectral Lattice Boltzmann Method (SLBM) that is the numerical calculation method of fluids based on the lattice BGK (Bathnagar-Gross-Krook) model discretized with spectral method. Two-dimensional homogeneous isotropic turbulence are simulated by the SLBM. Numerical results agree with another calculation results i.e. the energy spectra proportional to the wave number to -4 and backward cascade of energy is observed. As a result, we obtain the conclusion that homogeneous isotropic turbulence can be simulated by the SLBM, and it is confirmed that this method is useful for numerical simulations of turbulent flows.

本研究の目的は、組織市民行動が、組織内の他の成員へ与える影響を経験的に解明することで、なぜ・どのように組織市民行動がポジティブな影響をもたらすのかを明らかにすることである。この目的を達成するため、芸能事務所の所属メンバーを対象とした質問票調査を行った。その結果、ある成員の積極的な組織市民行動が、同グループ内の他のメンバーの内発的モチベーションを高め、バーンアウトを軽減させるといった効果があること等を示した。この結果は、組織市民行動は組織にとって有効であるという先行研究が暗黙においていた仮定を経験的に確認した。論文

The purpose of this study is to clarify the current status of learning support as a measure to prevent children's poverty in A prefecture in Chugoku and Shikoku region, and to consider the tasks. In this study, interviews and observations were conducted. As a result, the following four points were raised regarding the tasks of learning support as measures for poverty of children in A prefecture. The first task is that the A Prefecture Board of Education works together with the welfare department to think the community future cram school and "children's learning support project" as a child poverty countermeasure. The second task is to establish a universal system in mountainous areas, and a selective system based on academic ability in plain and urban areas. The third task is to clarify the division of roles to make the cooperation of actions related to learning support as a countermeasure for children's poverty work. The fourth issue is to reexamine the purpose of "Children's Learning Support Project" and "Regional Future School".

This article attempts to examine the present situation of the strategic nuclear arms race between the United States and the Soviet Union. The analysis starts with the SALT I agreement signed in May 1972, because it is this agreement that provided with the framework of the ongoing U. S. -Soviet arms race.<br>First, section 1 examines the significance of the SALT I agreement, which fixed the number of ICBM and SLBM launchers. In so doing, special attention will be given to how the agreement relates to the concept of &ldquo;assured destruction.&rdquo; Then, we look at the fact that the Soviet efforts to modernize its strategic nuclear forces by deploying MIRV-ed heavy missiles within the ceiling of SALT I led to the signing of the SALT II agreement; it was signed in July 1979 and set quantitative limits on MIRV-ed ICBM's.<br>Next, section 2 analyzes the evolution of the U. S. strategic theories from Robert S. MacNamara's &ldquo;flexible response strategy&rdquo; to Richard Nixon's &ldquo;realistic deterrence strategy&rdquo;; each of them proposed the way to utilize MIRV-ed delivery systems in practice, the focal point of the U. S. -Soviet nuclear arms race in the 1970s. The close examination of each year's <i>Report of the Secretary of Defense</i> published during the 1970s will reveal how the United States gradually revised its strategic doctrine to adjust it to the new MIRV technology. First it introduced the concept of &ldquo;strategic sufficiency, &rdquo; then &ldquo;targeting system, &rdquo; and lastly completed its doctrinal revision by adopting &ldquo;countervailing strategy.&rdquo;<br>Finally, section 3, taking up the concept of &ldquo;damage limitation, &rdquo; another major element in SALT I, shows what ideas brought about the agreement restricting the deployment of ABM's. Based upon this analysis, we also discuss the implication of President Ronald Reagan's initiative, i. e., the SDI (Strategic Defense Initiative) program.

高度道路交通システムにおいて道路を走行する車両を検出することは重要なタスクの1つである.筆者らは,ウェイクアップ機構を有する音響車両検出システムを開発してる.超低消費電力マイコンを用いた省リソース車両検出モジュールで車両を検出した上で,同時通過車両の検出や車両進行方向の推定を可能とする高精度音響車両検出モジュールをウェイクアップさせて車両を検出する.本システムの実現に向け,超省電力マイコン上に実装可能な省リソース車両検出機構をこれまでに報告した.本稿では,省リソース車両検出モジュールの実証評価及びそれに基づくウェイクアップ型音響車両検出システムの消費電力評価について述べる.

ハンドベルは、カスタネット、鈴、タンバリンなどと同様に、幼児にとって持ちやすく奏でやすい楽器である。しかし、幼児用の楽譜を見ると、ハンドベルはメロディーを奏でるようになっているものがほとんどで、メロディーの音を何音か担当し、間違えないように緊張して待つのでは、折角のハンドベルを楽しむことができないように思う。私は、幼児が無理なくハンドベルを楽しむためのやり方を試行錯誤し、全体を2 つか3 つのグループに分け、各グループにⅠ、Ⅳ、Ⅴ 7 の和音のどれかを担当させ、奏でるときに、ぬいぐるみなどを使って合図をすることにより、大勢で奏でる連帯感も生まれ、余裕をもってハンドベルの持つ華やかな響きを楽しむことができるように思った。又、音域を広げたり、同じ和音を分散して奏でるなど、身近な曲を使って楽しんで行えたやり方を書かせていただいた。

<p>This research applies spatial statistics to examine proximal factors affecting the political behavior of voters in a regional election in Japan, particularly, voter proximity to the election campaigns of the candidates. During the mayoral election in Akō City, Hyōgo Prefecture, voters' political behavior, attitudes, and awareness of politics were measured using a social survey, the spatial location information relating to candidates' election campaigns being measured using GPS. Voters' favorable perception of a certain candidate was positively correlated to the degree of contact with his election campaign of voters themselves or that of their neighborhood, but not to spatial proximity with his campaign. On the other hand, both the degree of contact and spatial proximity with his election campaign of voters themselves led them to cast their votes for the candidate, even controlling for favorability. It was revealed that there is a possibility for proximal factors to be treated more precisely by applying spatial statistics.</p>

辞書の記載による外来語のアクセント型を拍数別に調査し, その特徴を明らかにした。2・3拍語では原則からはずれた例は少なく, 頭高型が大部分をしめている。4拍以上の語には, -3拍目に特殊拍やアクセント核を前にずらす音韻的な要因が含まれている語か多いため, -4型や-5型が多く現れている。4拍語は, 日常生活によく使われている語や縮約された形の語が多いため, 平板型が目立つ。5拍語以上では, 外国語の意識がはたらいて原語に多い第1音節にアクセントを置く傾向が見られる。複合語アクセントは, 原則とほぼ一致しているか, 後部要素が2拍語の場合は一定したアクセント型は見られない。
