医薬品の開発においては,ヒト臨床試験に先立ち,動物実験で安全性・有効性が確認される.しかしながら,ヒトと実験動物の体内動態には相違があり,動物実験の結果をヒトに反映できないことがある.その原因の一つとして,主な消失過程である代謝の経路および速度がヒトと異なることがあげられる.本稿では薬物代謝の動物種差について説明し,ヒトにおける体内動態を予測するための試みを紹介する.

The first sentences "utakata" and "mizunoawa" are influenced by Kumarajivas idea of "innocence" as formulated in the ten metaphors of Vimalakirti Sutra. At the beginning of the third sentence "hitotosumika", the parable of the four primary elements of the Vimalakirti Sutra indicates the "five aggregates". The "five aggregates" is a practical word of Agui Shōdō. Fundamentally, this refers to the philosophy of "emptiness - selflessness" of the four primary elements of the Vimalakirti Sutra. Concerning the four major disasters in the first half of Hōjōki, "impermanence" and "emptiness" of "natural" and "physical form" are shown as specific examples.

The role of emotional suppression and expression in the affective priming effect was addressed by examining the consequences of expressing one's emotions toward the primes within the framework of the affect misattribution procedure (AMP: Payne, Cheng, Govorun, & Stewart, 2005). Consistent with previous findings, pleasant or unpleasant picture primes influenced subsequent evaluations of unrelated neutral targets, despite blatant warning to ignore the primes. Interestingly, however, the affective priming effect disappeared when participants expressed their affective responses toward the primes. Moreover, the effect of negative emotional expression was moderated by individual differences in self-rumination. These findings suggest that an affective priming effect ensues when affect is kept unexpressed.

図的ユーザインタフェースの一種として,アイコンで様々な対象を表現し操作するWIMP[1]インタフェースがある.WIMPインタフェースでアイコンに対する操作を指示するやり方(操作選択方式)としてメニュー,ドラグ&ドロップ,キー操作などがあるが,これらの間には,操作時間が短いものは柔軟性や分かりやすさに欠け,柔軟で分かりやすいものは操作時間が長いというトレードオフがある.筆者らはドラグ&ドロップの改良版として「アイコン投げ」(ドラグの途中でマウスボタンを離してもアイコンがこれまでの速度と方向で目的地に向かって移動し続ける方式)に注目し,その操作時間について実験と検討を行った.実験の結果,「アイコン投げ」インタフェースはメニュー,パレット,ドラグ&ドロップなどのマウスによる選択方法より有意に高速であり,誤り率も他の方法と比べて遜色ないため,図的インタフェースの基本操作として有望である.

ワクチンの導入にあたってはその有効性と安全性の評価が重要であることは言うまでもないが,定期接種化のように公的な財源を用いて広く導入を行う際にはその費用対効果についても合わせて考慮する必要がある.本稿では,まず諸外国における費用効果分析のワクチン政策への利用状況として,米国 ACIP と英国 JCVI の状況を紹介する.次に,わが国の厚生科学審議会感染症分科会予防接種部会や厚生科学審議会予防接種・ワクチン分科会における取り組み状況について概説する.さらに,研究手法の標準化の必要性を述べるとともに,筆者らがこのほど作成した予防接種の費用対効果の評価に関する研究ガイドラインの概要を述べる.本ガイドラインはすでに中医協で利用されている費用対効果評価の分析ガイドラインを参考に,割引率の値など可能な範囲で統一を図りつつ,生産性損失や herd effect などワクチンに特有の課題を加味することにより策定した.本ガイドラインに準拠して統一的な手法により経済評価が実施することにより,各ワクチンの定期接種化の是非や優先順位,接種対象,接種方法などに関して,財政影響や社会的見地からの価値を踏まえたうえでの科学的議論を行うことが可能となる.

In Japan Air Self-Defense Force, serious corrosion problems were encountered, regarding to the presence of the microorganisms in JP-4 fuel. Fuel was dripping from a tank in jet fuel aircraft. Microorganisms were cultured after being isolated from the JP-4 fuel underground storage tank, tank-lorry, water separator, and aircraft fuel tank. The effects of microbiological corrosion were examined on the specimens of 61-S aluminum alloy which was used in aircraft fuel tanks.The results were as follows:(1) Seventeen sorts of bacteria and three sorts of fungi were found to be bred by the utilization of JP-4 as nutritious element.(2) After culturing for 140 days, the surfaces of some aluminum specimens were covered with brown powdery blisters caused by the growth of microorganisms and other contaminations.(3) Severe corrosion pits were made on aluminum specimens, on which Micrococcus caseolyticus, Comamonas, and Vibrio faecalis were cultured.(4) It was observed that the surface of aluminum alloy specimens was covered with mycelium mats of Cladosporium resinae and tremendous corrosion existed under the mats.As the results, it is concluded that the preparation of filter-separator equipment such as ultrafine filter will be effective for the purpose of perfect removal of microorganisms from aircraft fuel.

プロダクト・デザインはビジネスにおける重要なテーマであり(Luchs & Swan, 2011),競争優位の重要な源泉であると言われている(Noble & Kumar, 2010)。このデザインを重視し,デザインと機能の融合により「美しい製品」の開発を行い,市場で高い評価を得ている企業がある。北九州市小倉に本社を置くTOTO株式会社である。2017年にネオレストシリーズのフラッグシップモデル「ネオレストNX」を開発し市場に展開しているが,このネオレストNXは「オブジェ」と言っても過言ではない。そこで,TOTO(株)の空間と調和するデザインと「ものづくり」におけるマーケティング展開を調査した。この結果,TOTO(株)のマーケティングの卓越性は,「デザイン・ドリブン・イノベーション」と「デザインのHolistic視点と機能の融合」の2つにあると考えられる。

This paper explains a speech database of prattle and chat of a female baby 'Emi' with her mother. They were recorded for about one hour almost every month since Emi was six months old until she became a child of forty-five months old. You can listen and analyze how she gradually develops her vowels and consonants, and after many repetitions of failure and success, she acquires words and sentences to chat fluently in her native language, Osaka Japanese.

東日本大震災では,「コスモ石油の爆発で有害物質の雨が降る」などの誤情報の拡散が問題となった.本研究の目的は,東本日大震災後 1 週間の全ツイートから誤情報を網羅的に抽出し,誤情報の拡散と訂正の過程を分析することである.本稿では,誤情報を訂正する表現(以下,訂正パターン)に着目し,誤情報を認識する手法を提案する.具体的には,訂正パターンを人手で整備し,訂正パターンにマッチするツイートを抽出する.次に,収集したツイートを内容の類似性に基づいてクラスタリングし,最後に,その中から誤情報を過不足なく説明する1文を選択する.実験では,誤情報を人手でまとめたウェブサイトを正解データとして,評価を行った.また,誤情報とその訂正情報の拡散状況を,時系列で可視化するシステムを構築した.本システムにより,誤情報の出現・普及,訂正情報の出現・普及の過程を分析できる.

This thesis was written of the topography and volcanic ash layers (the so-called Kanto Loam) of the Musashino upland extending over the western region of Tokyo Metropolis. The results are summarized as follows:1) The geomorphic surfaces of the Musashino upland may be divided into Yodobashi, Narimasu, Akabane, Nakadai and Tachikawa terraces from older to younger in order. These terraces are covered with the volcanic ash layers. It was found that the older terraces are covered with the thicker volcanic ash layers, compared with the younger terraces.2) In classifying Yodobashi and Narimasu terraces, two pumice beds, namely SIP and Pm-1 found in the volcanic ash layers are used as key beds. In the case of Akabane and Nakadai terraces, TP would be used as key bed.3) Beneath the sediments of Yodobashi and Akabane terraces, observed are drowned valley features. Those valleys are filled up with marine sediments representing each of the transgression periods. The amounts of transgression are estimated several ten meters with Yodobashi terrace, and several meters with Akabane.
