This paper proposes a novel implementation scheme of geometrically nonlinear finite element programs, which automatically compute exact internal force vectors and element stiffness matrices by numerically differentiating a strain energy function at each element. This method can significantly simplify the complex implementation procedure which is often observed in conventional finite element implementations, since it never requires B matrices, stress tensors, and elastic tensors by hand. The proposed method is based on a highly accurate numerical derivatives which use hyper-dual numbers and never suffer from any round-off and truncation errors. Several numerical examples are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

Various flower colors are in great part due to anthocyanins. Recently, we have elucidated two new mechanisms for blue flower color development on blue cornflower and blue morning glory. The composition of protocyanin, a blue pigment from cornflower, Centaurea cyanus, was determined to consist of six molecules of succinylcyanins (Sucy), six molecules of malonylflavones (Mafl), one ferric ion and one magnesium ion, [Sucy6Mafl6Fe3+Mg2+]. The blue color of protocyanin was due to the LMCT (Ligand to Metal Charge Transfer) interaction between Sucy and Fe3+. The structure of protocyanin was examined by using Al, Mg-protocyanin. The gross structure is much similar to that of commelinin. The pigment of blue morning glory, Ipomoea tricolor, is an triacylated anthocyanin, HBA. We measured the vacuoler pH of the petal of morning glory by using a proton selective micro electrode. The pHv of the petal of purplish red bud was 6.6 and that of blue open flower petal was 7.7. The anhydrobase anion of HBA must be stabilized by intramolecular stacking. We could solve 80 year's problems, one is about cornflower's pigment and the other is the evidence of the pH theory. In both cases hydrophobic interaction followed by formation of supra-molecule is the key of stabilization of anthocyanidin chromophore.

正規表現によって文字列検索の利便性が飛躍的に向上したように、化学構造検索の利便性向上のため、既存の化学構造表記法SMILESを拡張した正規表現拡張SMILESを提案するとともに、それを用いた化学構造検索手法を紹介する。正規表現拡張SMILESは、発表者が研究を続けている有限グラフオートマトンに容易に変換可能であり、有限グラフオートマトンを用いた部分グラフ探索アルゴリズムを適応することができる。

【目的】蛋白代謝、免疫能、脂質代謝の三つの生体指標から栄養評価するCONUT法が知られているが、心不全における栄養評価方法は十分に確立していない。急性心不全患者に対してCONUT法を用いた栄養評価が、短期予後の予測に有用であるか検討した。【対象及び方法】急性心不全で入院となった連続38名に対し、入院時にCONUT法でスコア化 (CONUT score) 及び栄養評価を行い、短期予後との関連性について調べた。【結果】CONUT法により36名 (95%) が軽度以上の栄養障害と評価された。CONUT scoreは感染症合併群、非合併群において感染症合併群の方が有意に高値 (p=0.02) であり、CONUT scoreが高値であると入院期間が長期化していた (p=0.02)。また、軽快退院群は有意に低値であった (p=0.02)。【結論】多くの急性心不全患者が栄養障害を有している可能性がある事が示唆された。また、CONUT法は早期に急性心不全患者の栄養障害をスクリーニングし、短期予後を予測する簡便な方法として有用性があると考えられた。

近年、マンガ・アニメ・ゲーム作品のアーカイブにおけるデータベース整備の取り組みが始まっている。本研究では、これらの横断的なデータベースに求められる、複数の作品が物語や登場人物を共有することで持つ関係を記述するデータセットの開発を行った。Wikipediaの記事及び構造情報を用いたデータセット作成手法を開発することで、それぞれ約12000件、5000件、30000件のマンガ、アニメ、ゲーム作品を対象にしたデータを作成した。

It is well known that transhumance as a kind of large-scale pasturage is practiced in the Mediterranean region. Transhumance in modern Greece occupies its position in the framework of Mediterranean pasturage though it does not exist to the extent it does in Spain and other countries. This phenomenon is important in the study of animal husbandry.Formerly, A. Sorlin-Dorigny asserted that in ancient Greece transhumance was not practiced until the unification of Greece by the Romans. But recently some scholars maintain that transhumance was practiced in ancient Greece. An article by Stella Geogoudi is particularly valuable for its detail. The literary and epigraphical materials which she collected are restricted to those which we can recognize as being related to transhumance, but it is an exhaustive list. Following Georgoudi's thesis, I show the geographical conditions under which transhumance in ancient Greece was practiced and the actual details appearing in the literary and epigraphical materials.These historical materials do not throw much light upon land ownership. Even so we can expect that more new historical materials will be found and scholars will study transhumance and animal husbandry in contemporary Greece and contribute to our understanding of ancient Greek animal husbandry.

本稿では図書館業務に関連するプログラムツールの開発事例を紹介し,それらのツール開発にかかわる要素を解説する。これまで筆者が開発してきたツールの事例として,PDFチェックツール「pdf-checker」,junii2メタデータ検証ツール「JuNii2 Validator」,Linked Open Data(RDF/Turtle)公開用ツール「ttl2html」などを取り上げ,それらのツールが内在する業務ニーズや開発動機,問題解決のために設定した業務フローの設計,ツールの入出力形式やユーザインタフェース,作業環境や代替ツールや代替手段といった関連する諸要素について解説する。

This paper explores the new, emerging generation of directors in China in the 21st century, focusing on one of the most successful among them, WANG Chong. He received the Festival/Tokyo award for Minefight 2.0 (2013) suggesting his increasing popularity also in Japan.More than thirty years have passed since the introduction of experimental theatre into China in 1982 by the dramatists GAO Xingjian and LIU Huiyuan with the director LIN Zhaohua in their performance of Absolute Signal. The stage production of WANG Chong is striking for its thorough deconstruction of original plays as hypo-texts compared to LIN Zhaohua or MENG Jinghui, another important similar playwright.WANG shows great interest in Hans-Thies Lehmann's Postdramatisches Theater, from which he has gained great creative inspiration. It is to be said that WANG Chong's works have influenced Chinese theatrical world's concept of “postdramatic theatre”.

近年全ての'もの’をインターネットにつなぐという IoT(Internet of Things)という考え方に基づき,実社会の課題解決を目指した技術の研究・開発が盛んに行われている.IoTでは,気温や監視カメラの映像など実社会に関わる情報をインターネットに接続された `もの’により収集し,クラウド上にて動作するデータ分析技術を用いて分析・判断し,更にはインターネットを通じて実社会にフィードバックする.IoTが大きく注目されている背景には,モバイル網に代表されるネットワーク及びクラウドの成熟と各種データ分析技術の発展が挙げられる.しかし,IoTを活用した様々なユースケースの実現を考えたとき,既存のクラウドネットワークには様々な課題が存在する.本論文では,IoTを活用する上でのクラウドネットワークの課題を挙げ,課題解決のための技術を解説する.

Steroidogenic factor 1 (SF-1) is a nuclear receptor that is important in steroid hormone production, and adrenal and gonad development. The SF-1 gene is highly conserved among most vertebrates. However, dog SF-1 registered in public databases, such as CanFam3.1, lacks the 5′ end compared to other mammals including mouse, human, bovine, and cat. Whether this defect is due to species differences or database error is unclear. Here, we determined the full-length dog SF-1 cDNA sequence and identified the missing 5′ end sequence in the databases. The coding region of the dog SF-1 gene has 1,386 base pairs, and the protein has 461 amino acid residues. Sequence alignment analysis among vertebrates revealed that the 5′ end sequence of dog SF-1 cDNA is highly conserved compared to other vertebrates. The genomic position of the first exon was determined, and its promoter region sequence was analyzed. The DNA methylation state at the basal promoter and the expression of dog SF-1 in steroidogenic tissues and non-steroidogenic cells were examined. CpG sites at the basal promoter displayed methylation kinetics inversely correlated with gene expression. The promoter was hypomethylated and hypermethylated in SF-1 expressing and non-SF-1 expressing tissues, respectively. In conclusion, we identified the true full sequence of dog SF-1 cDNA and determined the genome sequence around the first exon. The gene is under the control of epigenetic regulation, such as DNA methylation, at the promoter.

The meridional propagation of Rossby waves links different latitudes. Traditional wave propagation theory is mostly discussed in the non-divergent atmosphere. This work emphasizes the influence of the divergent effect on wave propagation by analyzing wave solutions to the linearized shallow-water quasi-geostrophic potential vorticity equation on the zonal mean flow. Changes in the basic-state quantities and wave solutions generated from consideration of the divergent effect are highlighted. Compared with the non-divergent situation, more waves are allowed to exist and propagate to much higher latitudes in the divergent case. The turning latitudes are generally moved northward when the divergent effect is included. This main conclusion is robust in the idealized super-rotational flow and 300 hPa climatological flows in winter and summer. The divergent effect also tends to slow the speed of wave propagation and favor waves reaching remoter longitudes. These finding implicates Rossby wave propagation with divergent effect may contribute more to the long-distance teleconnection than that in non-divergent case.

The severe air pollution events continue to occur every year during late October and early November in Delhi, forcing air/land traffic disruptions and anxiety in the daily life of the citizens. We analyze the behaviors of the air pollution events in October and November 2019 that arose from the crop-residue burning as seen using remote sensing techniques. Transport pathways and the mean transit time from the fire hotspots are evaluated using the FLEXPART (FLEXible PARTicle dispersion model). Our results suggest that the polluted regions in Delhi are partly influenced by the crop-residue burning. The uncertainty of our evaluation can be attributable to insufficient information on emission sources because the biomass burning emission based on daily-basis fire radiative power (FRP) of Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometry (MODIS) is significantly degraded by the existence of hazy clouds. In future, it is desirable to establish a dense measurement network between Punjab and Delhi for the early detection of the source signals of aerosol emissions and their transport in this region. The FLEXPART model simulation shows the transport of emission signals from Punjab to Delhi, which further expands toward the Bengal region within a span of two days.

研究の目的 本研究では、垂直サイン(データ付きポスター)と地面サイン(カラーテープ)が不法駐輪の防止に及ぼす効果を検討した。研究計画 ベースライン1、介入1(垂直サイン)、介入2a(垂直サインに地面サインを付加)、ベースライン2、ベースライン3、介入3(地面サイン)、介入2b(地面サインに垂直サインを付加)、ベースライン4からなるABCAABCAデザインを用いた。場面 大学キャンパス付近の歩道において実施した。参加者 当該の場所に駐輪をした者を対象とした。介入 垂直サイン(当該の場所に駐輪された台数の日々の推移を示す折れ線グラフを記載したポスター)と地面サイン(路上に貼付されたカラーテープ)を用いた。行動の指標 駐輪禁止範囲に駐輪された台数であった。結果 垂直サインと地面サインを併用することで不法駐輪台数が減少した。結論 不法駐輪台数のフィードバックと、カラーテープによる駐輪禁止範囲の明示を併用することの効果が確認された。今後は、より効果的な介入方法を検討するとともに、大学キャンパス全体を対象とするような大規模な介入の効果を検討することも必要である。

研究の目的 行動コミュニティ心理学による身体障害者用駐車スペースの違法駐車の軽減を実証的に取り扱った研究知見を応用し、点字ブロックに近接して置かれた迷惑車両(自転車とバイク)に対して、注意を促すポスターを掲示することの効果を検討することを目的とした。研究計画 場面間マルチ・ベースライン・デザインを用い、ベースライン、介入、プローブを実施した。場面 A大学図書館、講義棟、研究棟駐輪場付近の点字ブロック周辺であった。対象者 主に上記の場所を利用する学生、職員(教官含む)であった。介入 不適切駐輪の定義とその防止を呼びかける内容のポスターを、図書館と講義棟に掲示した。図書館では北側入口ドアおよび南側入口ドアの2か所に、講義棟では南側入口ドアおよび西側入口ドアの2か所に掲示した。ただし、研究棟(統制用)には掲示しなかった。行動の指標 点字ブロックに近接して置かれた迷惑車両(台数)を従属変数とした。結果 講義棟では、ベースラインにおける不適切駐輪台数は、平均11.6台であった。ポスターを掲示した介入条件での平均台数は7.3台となり、プローブでのそれは平均3.8台であった。介入を行わなかった研究棟(統制条件)では、全期間での平均不適切駐輪台数は4.3台であった。ポスターを掲示した2か所(図書館と講義棟)のうち、講義棟については効果が見られたが、図書館については、さほど効果は見られなかった。結論 不適切駐輪の防止を呼びかけるポスターを掲示することにより、不適切な駐輪台数が減少した。ただし、このことはポスターを貼付した場所(建造物の機能)によって効果が異なっており、今後はより効果的な介入方略について検討する必要がある。

音声障害を訴える歌唱者のなかで急性上気道炎症状を伴わない慢性上咽頭炎(以下上咽頭炎)が原因と思われる症例に対して1%塩化亜鉛による上咽頭処置(Bスポット療法)を行い,その治療効果を検討した.過去1年7ヵ月間にBスポット療法前後に内視鏡検査,音声検査,Voice Handicap Index-10(VHI-10)およびSinging Voice Handicap Index-10(SVHI-10)による評価が可能であった歌唱者53例を対象とした.内視鏡所見,VHI-10,SVHI-10,および最長発声持続時間における有意な改善を認めた.SVHI-10減少幅が5以上の症例は41例で78%の改善率であった.以上より上咽頭炎は音声障害の原因疾患の一つと考えられ,Bスポット療法は上咽頭炎による音声障害に対し有効であることが示唆された.また,その病態は自律神経系に関連する喉頭潤滑障害と上咽頭の共鳴障害であると考察した.

In this study, wheel load running fatigue test was conducted on a slab specimen produced with concrete replacing crush sand with blast-furnace slag fine aggregate. By comparing with the results of a similar wheel load running fatigue test on concrete using crushed sand, the influence due to the difference in fine aggregate for concrete was evaluated. It was confirmed that concrete using blast-furnace slag fine aggregate has enough fatigue durability compared to concrete using crushed sand. It was also confirmed that concrete using blast-furnace slag fine aggregate can be evaluated with the proposed S-N prediction formula by considering the effects of the main reinforcement and transverse reinforcement and sorting out the values from the past experiments.

〔目的〕内反捻挫後の運動療法の開発に資するため,踵を上げて行う足関節の運動方向が下腿筋活動に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることとした.〔対象〕健常成人男性10名とした.〔方法〕足関節について回外位での底背屈,底屈角度0°位での回内外,最大底屈位での回内外という3つの課題間で,腓腹筋内側頭,腓腹筋外側頭,長腓骨筋の筋活動量を比較した.〔結果〕腓腹筋内側頭と腓腹筋外側頭での筋活動量は,底屈角度0°位での回内外において他の課題に比べ有意に低い値を示した.長腓骨筋での筋活動量は,最大底屈位での回内外において他の課題に比べ有意に高い値を示した.〔結語〕下腿筋の筋力に応じ,踵を上げて行う足関節の運動方向を選択することが有用である.

電子レンジによるおしぼり付着菌の殺菌効果について検討した.菌付着おしぼりを1本ずつ照射する実験ではE. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosaの細菌類は2分間程度のマイクロ波照射で殺菌された.真菌類のC. albicansも3分で殺菌された.しかしB. subtilisの芽胞は5分間のマイクロ波照射でも10%の生残が認められた.実際面を考慮しておしぼり10本程度を同時に行なう場合は,効率的にやや長時間を要するが,芽胞以外のものを対照にする限り5分照射で充分である.電子レンジによるおしぼりの殺菌は手軽に短時間にしかも効果的になされることが判明し,自家処理おしぼりの殺菌にはもちろんのこと業者処理おしぼりの追加殺菌にも有用であると考えられる.

サイトメガロウイルス(CMV)腸炎は免疫不全症や集中管理を要する重症患者が背景として多い.内視鏡像では打ち抜き様類円形潰瘍のみでなく,輪状傾向潰瘍,帯状潰瘍,縦走潰瘍,二段潰瘍などの存在,多彩な潰瘍の混在などがあれば,本症を疑う必要がある.診断には病理学的検査(HE染色による核封入体の検出とCMV免疫組織検査によるCMV抗原の検出)やCMV抗原検査が用いられるが,偽陰性が多いのが問題である.潰瘍性大腸炎(UC)においてステロイド抵抗性や難治性の場合にCMV腸炎合併を疑う必要がある.病理学的検査とCMV抗原検査は,特異度は高いが偽陰性が多い.粘膜CMV-DNA検査は感度,特異度とも高いが,抗ウイルス療法の適応を決めるには疑陽性が多くなるため,適正なcut off値を決める必要がある.両疾患ともCMV検査が陰性であっても,臨床的にCMV感染症を強く疑えば,診断的治療が必要なこともある.
