長野県南信農業試験場に保管されていた昆虫標本が,試験場の建物の取り壊しにともない飯田市美術博物館へ寄贈された.これら標本類の中から,コガタノゲンゴロウ,カワラハンミョウ,タガメなどの15種の興味深い種を見出した.これらは昭和7年〜30年頃に収集されたもので,中にはデータラベルが付いていないものもあるが伊那谷南部域で採集された可能性が高く,この地域の過去の自然環境を推察することができる重要な種が含まれていた.

This article examines agency problems in the management of Japanese real estate investment trusts (J-REITs). J-REITs, which are externally advised, have potential conflicts of interest and might not trade assets with their sponsors at a fair price. With the use of data on individual properties, we investigate the existence of agency problems in transactions of properties between J-REITs and their sponsors. First, the assets purchased by J-REITs from their sponsors do not exhibit negative abnormal returns on average. Second, analysis on the categories of sponsors shows that properties which foreign sponsors sold to their J-REITs exhibit poor performances. Large domestic real estate firms, however, supply good properties to their J-REITs that yield high returns. Finally, we provide evidence that J-REITs sold their assets to their sponsors at low prices before the financial crisis in September 2008, which results in worse performance of them. This suggests the existence of agency problems.

左脚ペーシング(LBBP)は,His束下流の刺激伝導系を直接捕捉しようとする新しい心室ペーシング法である.LBBPはHis束ペーシングより成功率が高く,心機能やQRS幅はHis束ペーシングとほぼ同等で,閾値上昇を認めないことが報告されている.われわれは房室ブロック30例に対してLBBPを試みたが,全例で左脚エリア心室中隔心筋内へのリード留置に成功した.心室ペーシング後のQRS幅は128±15ms(平均値±標準偏差),ペーシング閾値は0.6±0.2V/0.4ms,心室波高値は11.0±7.2mVで,刺激電極に7例(23%)で左脚電位が認められた.合併症は認められず,平均観察期間6±3ヵ月においてリード脱落,リード位置変更,0.5V以上の閾値上昇はなかった.LBBPはペーシング誘発心筋症の予防のみならず,左脚ブロックを有する両室ペーシング適応症例に対する心機能改善効果も検討されており,今後さらに普及することが期待される.

夜は人間の開放感と恐怖の入り混じる時間帯であり,その恐怖は幽霊や妖怪を生み出し,現代でも都市伝説やオカルトという形で存続する。その一方で,これらの都市伝説やオカルトは好奇心の対象として消費されており,ゴーストツアーという形態で顕在化している。本研究は,心霊スポットおよび心霊ツアーを対象に,夜の場所に対する人間の恐怖と,その恐怖に対する好奇心を動機としたツーリズムを分析することで,人間が感じる恐怖と場所との関係性について考察した。心霊スポットは,場所の特性を反映して,恐怖の対象が異なり,その差異は怪談に現れる。日本におけるゴーストツーリズムは,実施企業にとって宣伝・広告の意味を持ち,倫理的な配慮がなされる。心霊スポットの分布と心霊ツアーのコースは一致せず,ツアーでは主に郊外の心霊スポットを消費している。

We studied effect of ventilation ports on aerodynamics of the fuselage of a human-powered airplane and cooling performance of the pilot. An opening made in the fuselage is one of remedies for enhancing the performance of the pilot. On the other hand, the opening influences aerodynamic characteristics of the airplane, in particular the drag of the fuselage. When the ratio of inlet and outlet areas is larger than 3.0, the flux of air taken at the inlet is almost proportional to the area of inlet and depends weakly on the position and area of the outlet. Cooling of the pilot is estimated from the data of Nusselt number around the cylinder in the uniform flow at the Reynolds number defined by a velocity averaged over a cross section. An additive drag due to interaction between the injected flow from the outlets and the ambient flow around the fuselage depends strongly on the location of the outlet; the nearer to the trailing edge the outlet position moves, the less the drag increases.

Attempts to synthesize transparent polycrystalline jadeite have been made by direct conversion from bulk glass at pressures 10–20 GPa and temperatures 900–1300 °C using Kawai–type multianvil apparatus. The grain size of jadeite tends to decrease with increasing pressure, but we failed to synthesize polycrystalline jadeite with grain sizes in nano–regime (<100 nm) and obtained the sample with the smallest average grain size of ~ 240 nm at 20 GPa and 1300 °C for 20 min. Polycrystalline jadeite of the minimum grain size exhibits high optical transparency with a transmittance of ~ 70% for a typical wavelength in the visible region. The highest Vickers hardness (Hv) of 14.2 GPa was observed for the polycrystalline jadeite sample with the minimum grain size of ~240 nm, which is about 7% higher than the hardness (Hv = 13.3 GPa) of the sample with the largest grain size of ~ 390 nm. Further increases in optical transparency and hardness of polycrystalline jadeite would be realized if we get nano–polycrystalline samples by optimizing pressure, temperature, heating duration, etc. of the ultrahigh–pressure synthesis experiment.

本稿は, 地場の味噌製造業者A・B社が使用する良質な原料農産物に着目し, その質の構築過程を「概念化」・「物質化」・「維持」の観点から考察した. 結果, 以下の点が明らかとなった. (1) A・B社原料の質は, 主に各社が食の安全に敏感な人々との交渉の中で, 原料の具体的生産・調達条件を規定することにより概念化された. (2) 概念化された質の物質化に向け, 各社はそれへの同意を得やすい農家に対し積極的アプローチを行った. その際に形成された各社ネットワークは, 原料の規定条件により異なる空間的発展様式を見せた. (3) 各社原料の質は, 各社が原料生産者に対し質の妥当性を再検討する場や原料生産の技術的支援体制を整備する一方, 消費者に対し原料生産に関わる情報を的確に伝達することで維持される. (4) 上の過程において各社は, 地元外の原料生産者や消費者とも戦略的に結びつきを強めたが, 接触手段・頻度の向上を図ることでその地理的関係を調整していた.

本研究では,1990年代後半以降における東京都心部での人口増加の受け皿と考えられる超高層マンションを対象にアンケート調査を行い,その居住者特性を明らかにするとともに,今日における住宅取得の新たな展開を考察した.その結果,居住者像として,これまで都心居住者層とされてきた小規模世帯だけでなく,子育て期のファミリー世帯や,郊外の持ち家を売却して転居した中高年層といった多様な世帯がみられた.それぞれの居住地選択には,ライフステージごとに特有の要因が存在するものの,その背景には共通した行動原理として社会的リスクの最小化が意識されていることが推察された.社会構造が大きく変化し雇用や収入の不安定性が増大している中で,持ち家の取得は,機会の平等が前提された「住宅双六」の形態から,個々の世帯や個人の資源と合理的選択に応じた「梯子」を登る形態へと変化したと考えられる.

1992年6月より1992年9月までに,高野病院で経肛門的超音波検査によりcystic patternとして描出される肛門周囲膿瘍17例とmixed echoic patternとして描出される肛門周囲膿瘍5例を通じて以下の結果を得た。(1)視診,触診にて肛門周囲膿瘍と診断された症例に対して,経肛門的超音波検査を施行し,cystic patternとして描出される症例とmixed echoic patternとして描出される症例とに分けられた.前者は急性期を示し,排膿されるまでは周囲の脆弱部へ進展していく傾向が強いため,早期発見,早期外科的治療が重要で,抗生剤単独の治療は有効でなかった。それに対し,後者は排膿後に描出され,抗生剤による治療も可能であると考えられた。つまり経肛門的超音波検査により,より細かい肛門周囲膿瘍の病期の診断と治療法の判定が可能であった。

The purpose of this study was twofold: (a) to examine the actual circumstances of involvement in gambling, and (b) to investigate the relationships between levels of the gambling problem and the Big Five personality traits among Japanese adults. Nine hundred Japanese adults were asked to complete a web-based questionnaire to measure their levels of involvement in gambling and personality traits. The results indicated that approximately 47% of the participants had engaged in gambling before. In addition, a positive relationship was observed between levels of gambling involvement and Neuroticism, while Agreeableness and Conscientiousness were negatively related to levels of gambling involvement.

After briefly reviewing the philosophical controversy on abortion, I will introduce Don Marquis' "future-like-ours" argument and its various critiques. Marquis insists that (1) it is seriously immoral to kill us because killing deprives us of our valuable futures, and (2) a human fetus has a future like ours, therefore (3) it is seriously immoral to kill a human fetus. His argument is very simple but plausible, and not easy to rebut. Possible objections to his argument are (1) an objection from negligence of the women's viewpoint, (2) a ruductio ad absurdum objection from contraception, (3) an objection from metaethical analysis of "loss" and "deprivation", (4) an objection from personal identity and non-similarity of a fetus and us, and (5) a metaethical objection from relation of value and desire. I argue that objection (5), which relies on the desire account of value, is most powerful, if we are to account for modifications and qualifications of "desire", such that desire should be interpreted as "dispositional desire" and desires should be "rational and well-informed". But these objections also have a significant burden of philosophical justification.

Due to the decrease of response rate and the inspection limitation of basic resident register recently, the execution of public opinion poll faces many difficulties. At once the response rate of face-to-face interview had from 70% to 80%, but because of the increase of temporary absence and refusal, recent response rate decreased to 50% level. Especially the increase of refusal become remarkable and in addition to the increase of privacy consideration as a background, the shortage of understanding for meaning of survey and the evasion feeling of visitation by interviewer may exist. To deal with such a temporary absence and refusal, there are some movements of reevaluation of self-registering investigation such as drop-off/pick-up and postal survey. Once postal survey has a shortage of low response rate, some examples show the high response rate recently. And the opinion pools which can use such register has been limited due to the change of inspection system in the basic resident register and electoral roll. Moreover, there are issues that criteria and procedure of right or wrong of inspection are not unified each autonomy level. Recently, while public opinion polls conducted by mass-media are mainly persuaded by telephone survey of RDD, RDD has some issues that the increasing of young people who does not have fixed-line causes distortion of samples. To study more about these issues related to public opinion polls, it may be needed to share and discuss with the fielding methods among survey organizations.

本稿は、オタク文化を社会学的に考察するために、OVA(オリジナル・ビデオ・アニメーション)の使用実践に着目する。中でも一九八〇年代のOVAの言説的な特徴を詳らかにするために、OVAが“第三のメディア”とアニメファンの間で呼ばれていたことに着目する。 言説を検討する際に、二つの構造的な条件が重要である。一つ目は一九八〇年代中盤のビデオの急速な普及であり、二つ目はアニメーター数が、作品数が増加し質の向上が求められる中で、増加していなかった点である。そうした条件を元に、OVAというメディアをめぐる言説を検討する。 まず第三のメディアの言葉の含意を考えるために、第一のメディア(テレビアニメ)と第二のメディア(劇場版アニメ)の移行関係に着目する。その移行は一九七〇年代後半頃に起こった。テレビアニメは子供むけのものとされてきたが、一九七〇年代後半に子供だけではないファンが発見される。ファンの存在を背景とし、アニメ制作者の側も作家性を発揮することを求めるようになる。しかし、当時のテレビアニメは作家性を発揮するには制約が多かった。そこで注目されるのが劇場版アニメであった。しかし、こうした移行の段階で「作家性の発揮」と「万人に受容されること」の競合関係が存在し、両者の議論の制約としてクリエーターの人数が存在した。 本稿では、OVAが上記の論点を引き継いで語られた媒体であることに着目する。その中で制作者人口が限られた中での「商業の論理」と「作品の論理」のせめぎあいを編集者・消費者・制作者がそれぞれどのように意味づけていくのかという点からその歴史を検討し、様々なアクターの論理のせめぎあいのダイナミズムの中での歴史性を検討する。

本論文では、計算論的アプローチについて紹介する。計算論的アプローチとは、刺激と反応との間にある脳の情報処理過程を明示的に数理モデルにする研究手法である。この計算論的アプローチを精神医学研究で用いると計算論的精神医学となる。認知行動療法のモデルでは、刺激と反応との間の過程を言語的にモデル化しているが、計算論的アプローチを用いることで、モデルの洗練化、シミュレーションを通した新たな現象・介入の予測なども可能になることが期待される。まず、本論文では、計算論的アプローチについて説明し、その代表的な4つの生成モデルについて解説する。さらに、計算論的アプローチを用いた認知行動療法研究として、うつ病と強迫症に対して強化学習モデルを用いた研究について紹介する。また、計算論的アプローチを研究で用いる際の推奨実践法について、4つのステップに分けて解説する。最後に、今後の計算論的アプローチの課題について議論する。

コロナ禍にともない小樽商科大学でも2020年度前期はすべて、後期は一部を除いて大半の授業がオンライン授業に変更され、各教員が試行錯誤を行いながら授業を行った。今回の授業のオンライン化は十分な準備期間もとれないまま緊急避難的に実施されたものであり、教育への影響や課題などについて検証が必要である。本報告では本学において2020年度に見られた成績分布の変化を示すとともに、その要因について教員アンケートの結果等から検討する。

生命倫理学では、「高瀬舟」は「慈悲殺」を表す作品だと言われることが多い。が、この作品には、「知足」と「安楽死」の二つの問題をどう統一的に解釈するかという課題があり、それを考えるには、森鷗外の生涯全体において彼の安楽死観を検討する必要がある。本論文では、関連する4 つの事項 ― ドイツの学説の紹介、日露戦争への従軍体験、長女・茉莉への安楽死未遂、鷗外自身の遺言 ― を概観し、鷗外の生涯に通底する「諦め」によって、「高瀬舟」の課題も「知足=財産に対する諦め」「安楽死=生に対する諦め」として統一的に解釈できることを述べる。但し、「諦める」には、「道理を明らかにする」という古い意味と「断念する」という新しい意味があり、鷗外はこれを新旧二重の意味で使用していると思われる。〈「諦め」としての安楽死〉は、個人の自己決定権を基礎に置く西洋の安楽死観に対して、専ら「慈悲殺」が日本的伝統だとしてきた従来の見方を覆し、もう一つ別の非西洋的伝統を示すものである。
