The purpose of the present research was to investigate the relationships among normative consciousness, individual traits, and the frequency of private conversations, in the form of whispering, amongst students during a college lecture. In the first study, the relationships among normative consciousness against whispering, perspective taking, social skills, and the frequency of whispering were examined through a questionnaire survey consisting of 251 respondents. The results showed that students who whispered frequently indicated high perspective taking or social skills. In the second study, the relationships among the goals of college life, normative consciousness, and the frequency of whispering were focused upon. The relationships between whispering and feelings of adjustment were also investigated. A questionnaire survey was conducted, and 369 responses were obtained. The results showed the following. (1) Despite having a high normative consciousness, students who valued the development of interpersonal relationships during college life were more likely to have conversations irrelevant to the lecture. (2) There were positive relationships between whispering and feelings of interpersonal adjustment.

研究者と研究対象の間に一線を画して,対象を客観的に記述しようとする自然科学に対して,人間科学は研究者と当事者による恊働的実践として進められるが故に,アクションリサーチとしての性格を宿している。本稿は,人間科学のアクションリサーチにおいて研究者がとる独特な視点とその役割を,新潟県中越地震の被災地で継続しているアクションリサーチの事例から理論的に明らかにしたものである。その際,大澤(2005)による,柳田國男の遠野物語拾遺の説話についての解釈を援用し,われわれの経験の社会的構成が「言語の水準」と「身体の水準」による複層的な構成をとっていること,それが当事者の「個人の内的な世界」と当事者の内属する「共同体の社会構造」の両者に存在していることを述べたうえで,当事者の「身体の水準」に留まっている他者性を回復させることでベターメントを図ることが人間科学のアクションリサーチにおける研究者の役割であり,その二重の複層的な構成をみる「巫女の視点」が人間科学のアクションリサーチにおいて研究者がとる視点であることを論じた。最後に,アクションリサーチにおける研究者は,その実践過程を言語によって回顧的に報告し,次の実践やさらなる共同体のベターメントへつなげていくところまでを射程としていることを指摘した。

An imperfect body with a complete skull of Crocidura dsinezumi orii Kuroda 1924, was found in a stomach of Trimeresurus okinavensis, which was colleced in July, 1960 by Mr. T. Morita and Dr. K. Koba at Yuwandake, Amami-Oshima, Japan. It is the second and unique specimen of orii, because this form has only been known by a type, a skin and an imperfect skull, collected in 1922 and destroyed by fire in 1945. The second specimen, adult male, is easily distinguished from russula, sodyi, tanakae, thornasi, dsinezumi, umbrina, chisai, shantungensis, watasei and tadae by relatively longer fur of the back (6.0-6.5 mm against 2.5×5.0 mm), decidedly larger claws of manus (2.7 mm against 1.1-1.8 mm), much shorter braincase (nearly circular against oblong), and posteriorly located posterior border of anteorbital foramen and anterior extremity of orbit. Therefore, this form may not be a subspecies of dsinezumi but a distinct species, Crocidura orii, peculiar to the small island.

本論文では,ニューラルネットエンコーダが学習する知識のうち,どのような構造的知識が自然言語のタスクを解くのに転移可能かを調査する.提案するアプローチでは,自然言語の構造を模したいくつかの「人工言語」を用いてエンコーダを訓練し,そのエンコーダの自然言語の下流タスクにおける性能を評価することで,事前学習データに含まれている構造的知識の転移可能性を計測する.実験の結果,転移可能なエンコーダを獲得するにあたって,事前学習のデータ系列中において,統計的依存関係が重要であること,係り受け関係を持つ際に入れ子構造が有用であることなどが明らかとなった.こうした結果は,エンコーダが転移可能な抽象的な知識として,位置を考慮したトークンの文脈依存性があることを示唆している.

緑茶を浸出する際の水の種類を変えることにより,緑茶浸出液の呈味の比較を行った。その結果,一般に硬水は緑茶の浸出には不適切であるとされていたが,硬度の高いevian水を用いて緑茶を浸出したところ,味覚センサーによるうま味強度が最も強いことが示された。evian水で浸出した緑茶と,次位のクリスタルガイザー水で浸出した緑茶について,三点比較法で官能評価を行ったところ,evian水で浸出した緑茶が有意に好まれる,との評価であった。また,CaCl2を用いて硬度を調節した場合には,うま味強度に対する正の効果は認められなかったが,CaCO3と組み合わせて用いることにより,CaCO3の濃度依存的にうま味強度が強まった。人工硬水を用いて緑茶を浸出し,味覚センサーと官能評価において測定したところ,evian水と同程度のうま味強度を持つ緑茶を浸出することが可能であった。

著名人やインフルエンサーのネットハラスメント被害が問題になっている。ネットハラスメントは、著名人/インフルエンサーを精神的に苦しめ、社会にも悪影響を及ぼす。一方で著名人・インフルエンサーのネットハラスメント被害に関する研究は限られており、その影響も明らかでない。本研究では実態と課題を明らかにすることを目的として、日本の著名人・インフルエンサー(N=213)を対象に、ネットハラスメント被害、精神的ダメージ、加害者への対応についての調査を行った。本発表では、調査結果を報告し、課題解決のためのアクションについて考察する。

横浜市域のエコロジカル・ネットワーク計画の基礎研究として, 水田及び池の特質と推移について検討した。約100年前, 水田は谷戸田と河川沿い水田がほぼ同面積で約7400haあり, 池は谷戸奥の農業用の溜池を中心に約140ヶ所あった。現在では, 水田は約600haに減少するとともに, 池は溜池がほとんどなくなり, 53ヶ所が公園化等により残されているに過ぎない。その保全再生が今後の大きな課題である。

SLIM (Smart Lander for Investigating Moon) is the Lunar Landing Demonstrator which is under development at ISAS/JAXA. SLIM demonstrates not only so-called Pin-Point Landing Technique to the lunar surface, but also demonstrates the design to make the explorer small and lightweight. Realizing the compact explorer is one of the key points to achieve the frequent lunar and planetary explorations. This paper summarizes the preliminary system design of SLIM, especially the way to reduce the size.

The Mindanao settlement of the early twentieth century was dogged by an unresolved issue: the number of Christians lured there by a state-sponsored resettlement program, which undermined privately led migration on public lands. This paper, on the development of the Homeseekers Program (1918–39), explores how the formation of a Christian Filipino settler colony in Cotabato, Mindanao, was intertwined with its self-governing capacity, demonstrated by settlers and the local government. Settler colonialism is the research framework for situating this overlooked element within the colonial pattern stemming from a fluid, multifaceted political situation. During the early American colonial period, Christians moved to Mindanao and built homes for themselves. Among them were agriculturists and educated young professionals who worked as teachers and government officials. Their arrival, essential for establishing colonial governance through public order, infrastructure building, and public health and education systems, contributed greatly to creating a settler colonial space independent from the central government and detrimental to indigenous people. Given the disorganized nature of the settlement process, however, land grabbing and squatting on public lands were common in the 1930s. This analysis demonstrates that the Christian settler colony materialized as a logical outcome of Filipino settler colonialism, leading to subtle, solid colonial governance.
