This paper proposes a nonparametric Bayesian updating method for nonlinear seismic response analysis models considering uncertainties using Variational Auto-Encoder (VAE). The proposed method is used for calculating the likelihood of the parameters for the response analysis model using VAE without any assumptions about the probability distribution. The proposed method is confirmed to successfully update the probability distribution of the parameters of a bilinear single-degree-of-freedom system. To discuss the characteristics of the proposed method, the relationship between the uncertainty due to the lack of information on the nonlinear response and the width of the posterior distribution of the parameters is investigated.

3, 3"-Di-O-acyl-4"-O-sulfonyl and 3, 3"-di-O-acyl-4"-O-alkyl derivatives of spiramycin I were synthesized and evaluated by four parameters, antibacterial activity, affinity to ribosomes, lypophilicity and therapeutic effects. Among them, 3, 3"-di-O-acetyl-4"-O-mesyl and 3, 3"-di-O-acetyl-4"-O-methylspiramycin I having relatively small substituents at 4"-position were the most effective in mouse protection tests, and the results were comparable to acetylspiramycin.

本研究では,読解方略の産出欠如克服のために,読解方略を協調的な読解問題解決の文脈で学ぶ教育プログラムをデザインし,物語文及び論説文における10個の読解方略について中学生12名を対象に実践し,読解方略の有効性認知や効力感,コスト認知の観点からその効果を検討した.質問紙への回答と振り返り記述を総合したところ,全方略で有効性の認知が向上し,一部方略では効力感向上やコスト認知低減がみられた.また,読解問題解決の文脈で読解方略を学ぶことは読解方略習得に寄与した可能性も示唆された.一方で,協調が読解方略習得に寄与するには,学習者が読解方略の活用方法を具体的に共有することが必要である可能性も示唆された.

地域の中小企業に関する研究はこれまで,データセットの可用性および分析環境の制約から定量的な分析を行う上での困難が数多く存在した。しかしながら,データサイエンスの普及とともに,近年では民間企業や政府がオープンデータ,あるいは詳細なデータベースを提供しつつある。また,こうした分析についてオープンソースソフトウェアを用いて実施することも可能になりつつある。本稿では,こうしたデータソースの概要について紹介し,具体的な分析例について例示している。従来は行えなかった研究アプローチが,こうした新たなデータセットや分析環境により実現性が増していることを示す。

嚥下障害を主訴に耳鼻咽喉科を受診し, その後に診断に苦慮した重症筋無力症の1例を報告する。 症例は81歳, 男性で, 嚥下障害を主訴に当院を受診した。 当初は軽度の嚥下機能の低下のみであった。 その後, 急速に嚥下障害が進行し誤嚥性肺炎を繰り返し, 最終的に重症筋無力症と診断された。 近年, 嚥下内視鏡検査が普及したことから, さまざまな疾患の嚥下機能評価が他科から依頼されることがある。 嚥下障害を来たす原因疾患として, 重症筋無力症も念頭に入れながら評価を行わなくてはならない。 進行する嚥下障害を来たした症例では重症筋無力症を念頭に入れて診察を行い, 重症筋無力症の診断のために抗 AchR 抗体やテンシロンテスト, 反復刺激試験などの一連の精査を行うことが重要と考えた。

In this study, we developed a chatbot that gives advice for improving well-being and obtained basic knowledge about its well-being improving effect. In the design of the chatbot, we derived advice candidates from behaviors that are highly correlated with well-being based on a questionnaire survey. In the quantitative survey, the chatbot gave advice 172 verification subjects 13 times from the derived advice candidates. As a result, we confirmed that the group that executed a lot of contents of the advice improved the well-being level compared to the group that executed few ones.

In this study, we report on a previously healthy 44-year-old man who underwent an open biopsy under general anesthesia for a tumorous lesion found in his left frontal lobe via a small supratentorial craniotomy. While both postoperative course and brain computed tomography (CT) scans had been considered unremarkable, the patient became stuporous on postoperative day (POD) 4. A brain CT obtained on that day showed a subdural hematoma with marked brain shift which we thought might have been due to postoperative bleeding; he was immediately brought to an operating theater for hematoma removal. However, no bleeding source was found, and the brain remained depressed after hematoma evacuation. Furthermore, the brain shift remained unchanged on postoperative CT. While spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) was considered, imaging studies to search for possible cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage in the spinal column were not performed as the patient's condition has improved. However, he became stuporous again on POD 8, which urged us to perform CT myelogram. The CT myelogram showed a massive CSF leakage at the L1-L2 level. Subsequent autologous blood patch has successfully terminated the CSF leakage, and he became fully oriented shortly after the blood patch therapy. Thus, it should be noted that SIH may occur during postoperative period of intracranial surgery, and it may manifest radiographically as a subdural hematoma indistinguishable from postoperative bleeding. SIH should also be included in a differential diagnosis of postoperative headache, regardless of its characteristics, because headache associated with SIH may not always be orthostatic.

(希望は夜の空の如きもの. それは, ひたすら, みつめる瞳が探す星を見出せない程の真の闇ではない. -Octave Feuillet) 1932年頃から幾多の切断はあり乍らも辛うじて続けて来た研究について書く機会を与えられた. その際, 私の第一の希望がこれまで発表した論文のリストを日本にも残しておきたいという事なので, 当欄の趣意には添わないが解説で述べる「少数核子の問題」以外については付記した原論文を参考にしていただく事にして, 幾つかの研究を記述するに止める. 私のして来た事が果して研究といえるか, 諸賢の御批評を仰ぎたい.

Soybeans soaked in water are expressed as 'tsuke-mame' in the north of the Kinki district, and as ''kkaasshhii-mame' in the west of the Chugoku district. The supernatant formed during coagulation is expressed as 'uwazumi' in the north of the Kinki district, 'kimizu' and 'shimizu' in the west of the Chugoku district, and 'yu' in the Tohoku and Chugoku districts. The cloth used in okara separation is expressed as 'hukuro' in the north of the Tohoku district, and 'nuno' in the west of the Shikoku district. Soaking soybeans in water is expressed as 'tsukeru' throughout the country, and as 'kashu'locally in the west of the Chugoku district. Coagulation is expressed as 'yoseru' throughout the country, and as 'utsu' locally in the Tohoku and Kinki districts, and 'awasu' locally in the Hokuriku and Shikoku districts.

マテ (Ilex paraguariensis) 葉は, 南米で古くから茶として飲まれてきたが, 糖代謝についての報告はない。我々は, 種々の食用植物について二糖類分解酵素阻害活性を指標としたスクリーニングを行ったところ, マテ葉熱水抽出物 (マテHE) に顕著な糖質分解阻害作用のあることを見出した。マルトース, スクロース, デンプンを基質とした場合, それぞれのIC50値は0.11, 0.49, 0.60mg/mLであった。また, 正常ラットへの経口糖負荷試験の結果, 血糖上昇抑制作用を示した。これらのことから, マテには糖質分解酵素阻害に基づく, 糖質消化吸収阻害作用のあることが示唆された。

情報処理学会第85回全国大会と併催する形で第5回中高生情報学研究コンテストが2023年3月4日(土)に電気通信大学とオンラインとのハイブリッドで開催された.中高生情報学研究コンテストが現地開催となったのは,第1回以来の実に4年ぶりのことである.本稿では,中高生情報学研究コンテストの意義を説明するとともに,第5回の受賞者や当日の様子について紹介する.

慢性非特異的腰痛患者には,心理社会的要因が関与している症例が多く,その場合はそれらの要因を的確に評価し,それに応じた適切かつ合理的な認知行動的アプローチが求められる.就労に支障をきたしている患者に対しては,社会的支援も必要である.これらと運動療法を併せることが主軸といえる慢性腰痛に対する集学的治療は,本邦の慢性疼痛診療ガイドラインにおいて最高位の“施行することを強く推奨する”1A判定である.一方,筋骨格系疼痛に対する「心理社会的フラッグシステム」が,世界の有識者による会議を経て英国で開発され,欧州では各国の診療ガイドラインで推奨されている.我々は,令和3年度厚生労働省慢性の痛み政策研究事業(慢性の痛み患者への就労支援/仕事と治療の両立支援および労働生産性の向上に寄与するマニュアルの開発と普及・啓発)の中で,意欲ある治療者のOperation Systemとなる合理的な手法を目指した「新心理社会的フラッグシステム日本版」を開発した.本稿では,心理社会的要因であるイエローフラッグ(認知行動療法の選択・実施に向けた心理社会的要因と具体的なアプローチ)を中心に解説する.

T2K実験でニュートリノ振動を精密に測定することで、物質優性宇宙の謎を解明する鍵となるレプトンにおけるCP対称性の破れの検証を行う。現在2σ以上の信頼度でCP対称性の破れを示唆しているが、今後統計数を確保することで統計誤差が改善される。本研究では、ニュートリノビーム生成過程のニュートリノフラックス不定性の最も大きな要因であるハドロン生成の精密測定を、スイスにあるCERN NA61実験により行い、ニュートリノ振動が最大となるエネルギー領域でのニュートリノフラックス不定性を改善させる。これによりニュートリノ振動解析の系統誤差を削減し、レプトンにおけるCP対称性の破れの発見に繋げる。
