外国人人口の増加は, 1990年代以降の日本における, 戦後日本の社会の構造変化を象徴する出来事であり, これまで多くの研究が行われてきた分野であるものの, 外国人女性の出生行動について行われた研究は, 思いのほか少ない. しかし, 出生行動は現地社会と結びつきの強い「移民2世」を生み出すなど, 移民の定住化の方向性を左右する重要な契機であり, 外国人人口の日本社会への定住化が進む現在, こうした点について明らかにすることは重要である.本稿では, これまで欧米の先行研究が明らかにしてきたように, 移住過程, とくに定住化が外国人女性の出生動向に与える影響について分析を行った. その結果, 外国人女性の出生行動は, 同一国籍内でもサブグループ間で大きく異なる可能性が高いこと, および定住化に伴う適応/同化効果が出生力にプラスの影響を与える可能性が示されたといえよう. また, 日本における外国人の定住化が, 世代の再生産という新たな局面に入っていくことが示されたといえよう.こうした結果は, マクロ統計から得られた知見であり, 今後, ミクロデータを利用したサブグループ間の出生力格差や, 定住化の影響の違いを明らかにする必要があるだろう. その一方で, 本稿の研究はこれまでこうした分野における知見が少なかった中, 今後の調査研究の作業仮説となる重要な知見を提供したものと考えられる.

特別支援学校高等部に通う脳性まひ者2名に対して主体的に問題を解決する力を育むために、日常作業遂行に対する認知オリエンテーション(CO-OP)を基盤とした個別介入を行い、その有用性を検証することを目的とした。その結果、生徒自身で目標を設定し、認知戦略を発見し、目標を達成することができた。カナダ作業遂行測定(COPM)、ゴール達成スケーリング(GAS)、遂行の質評定スケール(PQRS)の数値が、事前評価から事後評価で生徒2 名ともに向上し、その後のフォローアップにおいても効果を維持することができた。そのうち1名の生徒は、Vineland-Ⅱの粗大運動のスコアが、事前評価の22点から事後評価では34点に向上した。本研究により、脳性まひ者の主体的な学びの実現を目指すために、CO-OPを基盤とした個別介入が特別支援教育の場において有効であることが示唆された。

Vitapex® is known to promote healing of periapical scars and facilitate skeletogenesis. It is used in routine clinical practice as a root canal filling material after pulpectomy or for the treatment of infected root canals. We report a clinical case of overfilling of Vitapex® from the apical foramen into the mandibular canal that caused inferior alveolar nerve hypoesthesia.A woman in her twenties presented at a local dental clinic for treatment of an infected root canal of the left mandibular second molar and received a Vitapex® injection. After the treatment, she presented with sensory disturbance in her left lower lip and mental region. She was introduced to our department 1 week later. She was diagnosed with sensory disturbance in the left lower lip and side of the chin. A panorama X-ray radiograph revealed a radiopaque image suspected to represent a large overfilling of Vitapex® into the left mandibular canal. After extraction of the left mandibular second molar, the socket was opened. A vitamin B12 formulation was then administered to her, and a series of stellate ganglion blocks was performed. Three months after extraction, radiographic findings revealed that the radiopaque image in the mandibular canal had disappeared, and the sensory disturbance had mostly subsided 4 months after treatment initiation.

We study Frege's influence on computer science mainly from the viewpoint of the formal aspect of Frege's Begriffsschrift. We argue that his analysis of a function as an unsaturated entity is related to the notion of higher-order abstract syntax in computer science, and his way of explaining Begriffsschrift should shed light on the future design of a common meta language for various mathematical systems. We also point out the influence of Frege on Martin-Löf's type theories, which led to the revival of the notion of judgment which was once almost forgotten in mathematical logic.

In this study, the effects of a theatrical activity on social abilities were examined. The participants (N = 40) were randomly assigned to an experimental or control group. While the experimental group read a playscript, planned a performance, and performed, the control group read a playscript and summarized the content of the story. All the participants completed three social ability measures, namely, Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test, Yoni Test, and Situational Test of Emotional Understanding as well as a questionnaire, namely, Interpersonal Reactivity Index on three occasions: pre, post, and followup measurement. Moreover, they completed the Narrative Transportation Scale immediately after the intervention, which assessed the psychological state of immersion into the narrative world. It was predicted that the extent of narrative transportation the participants experience would moderate the effect of theatrical activity. The results revealed that highly transported participants in the experimental group scored significantly higher than those in the control group on various scales including Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test, Yoni Test, and the Interpersonal Reactivity Index Empathic Concern scale. Furthermore, after the intervention, the extent of transportation predicted these social abilities in the experimental group.

日本国内の生花店では,水揚げの促進を目的として‘水切り’作業を行っているが,切り花を取り扱う際の大きな負担になっている.実際に水切りを行っている生花店の割合とその効果に関するアンケート調査を行ったところ,62%の生花店で水切りは行われており,72%の生花店では水切りに品質保持の効果があると考えていた.次に,キク,バラ,ユリ,トルコギキョウ,ガーベラ,ストックおよびアルストロメリアを乾燥により水分を損失させた後,生体重の回復と品質保持期間に及ぼす水切り処理の影響を調べた.その結果,水切りによりキクとガーベラ切り花のみは生体重の回復が促進された.しかし,他の品目では有意に促進される効果はなかった.また,どの品目においても,水切りにより品質保持期間が長くはならなかった.以上の結果から,‘水切り’が切り花の水揚げと品質保持に及ぼす効果は極めて限定的であることが明らかになった.

<p>地域療育センターを利用し,自閉症スペクトラム障害(以下ASD)と診断された小児338 名とその保護者を対象にアンケートを行い,偏食の実態を調査し,偏食に影響を与える要因の検討を行った.</p><p>絶対食べない食材数と発達レベルとの関連が推察されたが,年齢との関連は明らかにすることができなかった.食べない食材は,年齢や発達レベルに大きな差はなく,「イカ・タコ」など食べにくい食材や野菜が多く,摂食機能との関連を検討する必要があると思われた.</p><p>食べない食材数と感覚偏倚とでは,「触覚」「視覚」との関連が強く,保護者が食べない理由としてあげていた「食感」「見た目」と重なっていた.食材を加工し提供することは,「触覚」「視覚」への配慮となり,有効な対応法と思われた.食事場面だけでなく,生活全般を通して,発達レベルの向上や感覚偏倚の軽減を行うことが必要と推察された.</p>

This article examines engineering and military ethics in the Japanese Navy during World War II. It focuses on what a group of engineers did from 1944 to 1945 for research and development of MXY 7, the world's only aircraft specifically created and deployed for suicide missions. Contrary to common portrayals of the military operation, I argue that the process was complicated and contested, especially among the engineers. They remained neither monolithic nor fanatic, rationally debating inherently moral issues within themselves. The engineers' detailed calculations, design blueprints, and personal memos during the war testify to this untold story of the war.

昭和60年度までに完成している多目的ダムは267ダムに達するが,本論文では建設中のダムを含め,データの得られた353ダムについて,洪水調節機能を中心として地域的,経年的特徴をみたものである。まず,目本全国を9地域区分に大分割し,そこにおけるダム群の有効貯水容量・洪水調節容量を降水量との関係において特徴をみた。その際,ダム容量はダムの支配流域面積と相対評価する必要があるので,それを流域に降った雨のうち何mmまで貯留できるかという値,即ち,相当雨量に換算して評価を行った。次に,その相当雨量の経年変化をみると,近年,洪水調節容量の相当雨量は200~400mmと大きくなってきており,ダム下流に洪水を流下させないですむダムが出現していることを示した。さらに,洪水調節容量確保方式について検討を加え,洪水調節容量確保方式は予備放流方式が減少し,サーチャージによる確保方式が増えていることを,また,洪水調節方式は洪水時にゲート操作の頻繁な一定率・一定量放流方式から,ゲート操作のほとんど要らない一定開度方式・自然調節方式が増えてきていることを示した。
