当研究室で開発している糖認識性人工ホスト分子「エチニルピリジンポリマー」の側鎖に、一定間隔で環状ホスト部位を導入した。このポリマーへ、環状ホスト部位と相互作用する軸分子を加えると、擬ロタキサン構造が形成された。その結果、らせんのピッチ間が架橋され、主鎖であるピリジン骨格のらせん型高次構造が安定化されることがわかった。円二色性スペクトルを用いて糖認識能を評価したところ、軸分子の添加により円二色性が増大するアロステリズムが確認された。

これまで生理活性天然物リガンドを「鍵」に例えると,その特異的結合タンパク質は「錠」の関係にあり,一つの天然物は1本の鍵であるとイメージされてきた.しかし近年のケミカルバイオロジー分野の研究の進展により,天然物リガンドは1本の鍵というよりも「鍵束(もしくはマスターキー)」であり,複数の「錠」に作用するということがわかってきた (multiligandability).このような背景のなかで,最近の天然物リガンドの標的タンパク質同定はどのようなアプローチを試みているか,また同定後の展開についても解説したい.

5~6名の成年女子に、種々の作業位を指示して皿ふき作業を課し、その時の心搏数、筋活動量、エネルギー代謝量より生体負荷を測定した。結果は次の通りである。1. 心搏数は作業位が、肘位、肩位、額位の順に高い位置になるほど増加する。各高さにおいては、作業点が身体前面より10、20、30、40cmと前方に離れるほど心搏数は増加する。しかし、低い高さの場合でも、身体前面より離れすぎた場合は、高い高さで身体に近い位置よりも負荷はむしろ大きくなる。2. 筋活動量は、一般に作業点の高さが高くなるほど増し、身体前方向では各高さとも、身体から離れるほど筋活動量は増加する。特に額の高さにおいて、その増加が著しい。又、肩や額の高さでは、身体前面より40cmの位置で筋活動が急増する。3. エネルギー代謝量は、高さの違いによる差はみられなかったが、各高さにおいては、身体前面よりの距離が大きくなるほど増加する値向がみられた。4. 一般に皿ふき作業のような空中位で行なう作業は作業台上で行なう作業よりやや高い位置で行なう方が、生体負荷が少なく、その高さは約90cmであり、身体より10~20cm離れた位置が最もやり易いことがわかった。

The present study aimed to explore the psychological growth achieved by athletes during coping with the yips. We interviewed six university baseball players (mean age=21.0 years, SD=1.15 years) who experienced the yips using the episode interview method and then gathered narrative data related to the experience of the yips or the psychological growth accompanying the same. As a result of analysis of the data, it was roughly divided into two types of narratives: “narratives of negative psychological changes accompanying the experience of the yips” and “narratives of psychological growth accompanying the experience of the yips.” Further analysis of the latter yielded the following five category groups on psychological growth: “positive changes in consciousness of competition,” “changes in self-recognition,” “mental margin,” “changes in the views of a way of others,” and “deepening of understanding of competition.” These results suggest that the experience of the yips leads to negative as well as positive psychological changes in the athlete.

The current mode of competition in the Japanese industry is competition for the top tier. This is essentially competition for the highest asset value of the business but not for long-term excellence. The author reviews the history of this type of competition, discusses problems inherent to it, including possible moral hazard, and points out that it does not favor planning for the uncertain future for which the traditional Japanese management was prepared with accumulated internal resources. This situation requires that the Science and Technology Basic Plan incorporate careful strategies for commercialization of its outcomes. The key for long-term survival strategy is quest for uniqueness.

<p> 本稿は,大学教育改革の鍵概念となっている「教学マネジメント」及び「内部質保証」に関し,大学経営と質保証の両面で先行した英国の政策と実態に関する分析・考察から,日本にとっての含意を得ることを目的としている.</p><p> 大学教育に関する日本の政策言説は,全学的な教学マネジメントや大学ガバナンスの内部質保証にとっての有効性に,素朴なまでに信を置いている.しかし,英国の大学における教学マネジメントを含む内部質保証システムの整備の考察からは,経営機能の強化は,質保証の実質化の必要条件であっても,十分条件ではない可能性が示唆される.また,質保証の取組がコンプライアンスにとどまり,教授・学習過程にインパクトをもたらすに至っていない,との批判的分析は,質保証の一筋縄ではいかない複雑性と困難を表す.</p>

<p>This paper aims to reconsider the ethnic category of the Han in Vietnam, focusing especially on the Ngai people, a Han ethnic group from South China. In 1979, the government of Vietnam officially recognized them as the Dan Toc Ngai, one of the country's 54 ethnic groups. Therefore, the Ngai people were considered to be the aboriginal ethnic group of the Dan Toc Ngai in previous studies. Based on fieldwork, however, I found that the Ngai people are not completely equivalent to the Dan Toc Ngai, because some Ngai people in Vietnam belong to other ethnic groups, such as the Nung, Hoa, or San Diu. In this paper, I explicate the ethnic category of the Ngai people, clarifying their migration patterns, identity politics, and the formation of a global network since the end of the 1970s. In doing so, I emphasize that the Ngai people are identified as a definite trans-border ethnic group, and that the group's ethnic categories and identities may vary according to the socio-political situation. I will then highlight the necessity of understanding the Ngai people in the context of studying the Dan Toc Ngai and other Han people in Vietnam. </p>

Ultrasound power was supplied with hone type at 20kHz, 400W. Process parameters studied were closed steady-state temperature, concentration, pH, sonication time and flow rate. The decomposition of dichloromethane (methylene chloride) was not affected between 300∼340K and pH 3∼9. Dilute methylene chloride in water was rapidly decomposed by ultrasonic irradiation into carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide, hydrochloric acid, free chlorine and water at ambient pressure. Decomposition efficiency was about 30% after 2min of sonication and about 50% after 10min of sonication at 25∼100ppm.

この10年間、数多くの研究が自閉性障害児者における心の理論の障害を指摘してきた。一方で、自閉性障害児者が感情理解や自己理解に困難をもつことを示す研究もある。しかし、自己理解と他者理解(心の理論)、感情理解の関係性を明らかにした研究はない。本研究では、年長の自閉性障害児と精神遅滞児に対し、自己理解課題、他者理解課題、感情理解課題を実施した。その結果、自閉性障害児は精神遅滞児に比べいずれの課題においても有意に成績が劣るものの、自己理解の成績が高い自閉性障害児は成績が低い自閉性障害児に比べて他者理解課題の得点が有意に高いことを見いだした。これらの結果は、年長自閉性障害児が他者の心の理解だけでなく自己の理解や感情の理解にも困難をもつこと、また、自己の理解の能力が他者の心の理解の能力と関係があることを示唆している。
