Significance of changes in the teeth especially Hutchinson and Fournier teeth among student of schools for the blind and deaf was reported from our Department about 10 years ago. In order to assess the recent situation, 124 students were examined in a school for the blind concerning the intraoral state from an odontological point of view.Abnormalities in the development and morphology of the teeth, degree of carious state, pyorrhea, state of the cleaning of the oral cavity, presence of deposition around the teeth, and relationship with diseases of the eye were investigated. No difference was found between students in the school for the blind and other healthy subjects concerning the degree of carious state, alveolar pyorrhea, state of the cleaning of the oral cavity, and deposition around the teeth. In 4 students Hutchinson and Fournier teeth were noted simultaneously, while Hutchinson teeth alone were noted in 1 and Fournier teeth alone were seen in 8. Among those, congenital complete or almost complete blindness was seen in 8 and acquired complete or almost complete blindness was seen in 5, indicating a pronounced decrease as compared with the result of 10 years ago.

In soccer, as the number of goals determines victory or defeat, the top priority of soccer attacks is to score goals. In many competitions, more than 70% of goals are scored by shooting from within the penalty area (PA). Thus, entering the PA is an important factor in scoring goals to win games and advance in a tournament. However, as no previous research has analyzed in detail attacking play involving entry into the PA, players are unable to receive effective coaching. Focusing on the group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the present study compared attacking play into the PA between top-ranked teams that advanced (top teams) and lower-ranked teams that were defeated and did not advance (lower teams) in order to identify the characteristics and differences of the two groups. Samples were obtained from all 48 games played in the tournament at this stage. For statistical analysis, the unpaired t test and c2 test were used. No significant inter-group differences were found in the number of attacks or entering the PA and the number of shots, but the top teams had higher success rates in shooting and attacking, suggesting that they had excellent finishers or created better shooting situations. With regard to movements for receiving passes by players who entered the PA, the top teams showed a higher frequency of moving from the outside to the inside of the PA and receiving passes there, suggesting that their players received the ball as they moved toward the PA. Moreover, compared to the players of lower teams, they received passes inside the PA when no opposition defenders were in the attacking direction. These findings suggest that players of top teams evaded marking by opponents by receiving the ball while moving toward the PA. Furthermore, since top teams had higher scoring rates when their players dribbled into the PA, they likely had players more highly skilled in dribbling, thus resulting in goals.

When designing systems that support remote instruction on physical tasks, one must consider requirements : 1) participants should be able to use non-verbal expressions, 2) they must be able to take an appropriate body arrangement to see and show gestures, 3) the instructor should be able to monitor operators and objects, 4) they must be able to organize the arrangement of bodies and tools and gestural expression sequentially and interactively. GestureMan was developed to satisfy these four requirements by using a mobile robot that embodies a remote instructor's actions. The mobile robot mounts a camera and a remote control laser pointer on it. Based on the experiments with the system we discuss the advantage and disadvantage of the current implementation.

子どもをもつ摂食障害の女性患者が増加して,臨床でどう評価すべきかの課題が出ている.そこで摂食障害の患者の結婚,妊娠,出産,育児について,コントロールの女性と,面接調査による比較研究を行った.対象群は,筆者らが治療を行った子どもをもつ20名の摂食障害患者の女性で,コントロール群は子どもをもつ20名のボランティア女性であった.摂食障害の女性はコントロール群の女性と比較して,妊娠中も過食や嘔吐などの食行動異常は続くことが多く,妊娠で精神状態も悪化し,飲酒や喫煙が多かった.出産時異常に差はなかったが,産後うつ病が多く,育児期の精神状態も悪く,出産後に過食や嘔吐は増加し,子育て不安も強く,子どもへの虐待経験も多かった.また,結婚から出産後までの間に摂食障害が再発した者は30%存在した.結論として,摂食障害の患者は,食行動異常が回復しても,子どもの育児期間を含めての長期間のサポートの必要性があると考えられる.

本稿の目的は,大学で行われた新型コロナウイルス感染症流行下の学生支援実践を報告することである。2019年度卒業式の中止を皮切りに,大学のほぼすべての活動は制限され,2020年8月現在も登校禁止の状況が続く。筆者の所属する名古屋大学学生支援センターにおいて行われた支援を,不適応を呈した学生,その家族,関係教職員を対象とした三次支援,現時点では不適応を呈していないがその可能性の高い者を対象とした二次支援,全構成員を対象とした一次支援の3つのレベルに分けて報告する。

ICT機器(スマホ,タブレット等)と自宅に設置したセンサを用い,高齢者が要支援・要介護状態となることを予防する取組を,家族や地域を巻き込み継続的に実現可能とする包括的介護予防システムの構築を目指す.これまで個別に開発してきた認知訓練部,見守り部,対話エージェントの各々に改善や拡張を加えながら統合を図る.各部,各機能の有効性や,統合後のシステム利用を通した長期的・相乗的な介護予防効果について評価する.

今日の日本における占い人気の高さは世人の広く認めるところであるが、現代日本の占いを扱った学術的な研究は未だほとんどなされていないのが現状である。そこで、本稿ではまず、今後行われるべき占い研究の足がかりを得るために、複雑多様な様相を見せている諸々の占いを幾つかの類型に分類・整理することを試みる。類型化にあたっては、個々の占いを成り立たせている究極的根拠(占考原理)の種別と、運勢を好転させるための対処策の性格に見られる差異を分類の指標とし、研究の資料には一般読者向けに書かれた「占い本」を用いることにする。さらに後半では、分類作業によって得られた3つの類型のそれぞれが持つ固有の特質を、人間の運勢を左右する基因が人間とどのような関係にあると捉えられているかといった把捉様式のレベルに求めていく。そこには日本の宗教的な思惟・意識の構造を解明するための糸口の一つが潜んでいると考えられるからである。

Cushioning materials, such as sand cushion placed on rock sheds, are attracting attention as construction devices that can effectively disperse and reduce rock fall energy before rocks collide with rock fall protection works. To support performance-based designs for rock fall countermeasures, the present study estimated rock fall behaviors and impact forces using 2D discrete element method (2D-DEM). As one of the typical behaviors, propagated impact force can exceed impact force of falling mass. We conducted two numerical analysis focused on this phenomenon; monotonic penetration test controlling under constant penetration velocity, and removing falling mass during penetration process for any time. In addition, the effects based on some condition of sand cushion, weight of falling mass and its velocity are examined from the view point of impact force-penetration relationship of sand cushion.

痔瘻の成因は,今ではcrypt-glandular infection theoryが定説であり,治療の原則は原発口(anal crypt),原発巣(anal gland, primary lesion)の完全除去である.痔瘻の原発巣に対する考え方も,坐骨直腸窩痔瘻では従来のanal crypt─内外括約筋間─Courtney's space(原発巣)の考えから新しい概念,後方深部隙(PDS)の存在の提唱により大きく変わった.痔瘻の初発症状の直腸肛門周囲膿瘍は,診断すれば抗血栓薬の服用の有無,基礎疾患の有無にかかわらず,即,切開排膿が原則である.排膿後の痔瘻への移行状態をみて手術を決める.痔瘻手術の基本は開放術式であるが,前方,側方のものは肛門括約筋の損傷を考慮して術式を決める必要があり,根治性,肛門機能温存のバランスを重視した術式を選択することが大切である.

This paper investigates the kṣāntipāramitā in the smaller Mahāprajñāpāramitāsūtras. Translated terms in the Daoxing banruo jing 道行般若経 (T. 224), the oldest version of the smaller Mahāprajñāpāramitāsūtras, were examined first. The translator of the Daoxing banruo jing, Lokakṣema, had translated kṣānti into 忍辱, kṣāntipāramitā into 羼提波羅蜜, and anutpattikeṣu dharmeṣu kṣāntiḥ into 無所従生法楽. Moreover, the Daoxing banruo jing barely explained the contents of the practice of kṣānti. In conclusion, the smaller Mahāprajñāpāramitāsūtras did not change the contents of kṣānti practice already known through other sūtras and elsewhere.

海域の全窒素 (TN) ・溶存無機態窒素 (DIN) が大きく低下した大阪湾において, 生態系の栄養段階ごとに生物量の経年変化および季節変動パターンの変化を調べた。調査期間の1990~2019年には, 経年的水温上昇はほとんどなかった。DINの低下に伴って, 一次生産量が減り, クロロフィルで測った植物プランクトン量が減り, これが繊毛虫・カイアシ類などの動物プランクトンの減少, 仔稚魚量の減少へと連動していた。生態系全体としては, 各栄養段階の現存量がほぼ線形的に応答するボトムアップのシステムとなっていた。TNの低下が, DINの枯渇期間を夏のみから, 春から夏に広げ, これによる一次生産量の低下が, 上位栄養段階への窒素フローを減らしたと考えられた。また, 仔稚魚では, 内湾性魚種はどの優占魚種も生物量が大きく減少していた。一方, 広域回遊性のカタクチイワシだけは減らず, この一種のみが優占する状態に変化していた。

Cedar pollen allergies are one of the severe health problems in Japan. Recently, it was reported that symptoms of pollen allergies are attenuated by the intake of functional foods. Euglena is a unicellular organism classified as algae, which is taking notice as a functional food. In this study, the effect of euglena on experimental pollen allergies in mice was investigated.  5 week-old BALB/c male mice were sensitized using Cry j1 by intraperitoneal injection and intranasal instillation. AIN-93M was fed to the negative control and positive control group, whereas euglena, paramylon, and amorphous paramylon were fed (2% in AIN-93M) to each diet group. We determined the incidence of nasal rubbing, liver weight, spleen weight, white blood cell counts, serum IgE and IFN-γ.  In the euglena diet group, the percentage of positive incidences of nasal rubbing mice decreased. It is suggested that euglena may attenuate symptoms of cedar pollen allergies.

わが国全上場企業を対象にM&Aに関するサーベイ調査を行い,回答企業526社の分析からつぎのような結果を得た.第1に,近年の日本におけるM&Aの主目的は市場シェア拡大の水平的なM&Aが中心で,実際に成果があったと意識されている.しかし,ブランドカや研究開発力といった見えざる経営資源の有効活用については成果が少ない.第2に,M&Aに際しての人員,給与体系,事業部門の調整の仕方の違いがM&Aの効果に大きな影響を及ぼしている.第3に,70%近い企業が成熟衰退事業を現在・今後抱えると答えており,雇用維持を配慮した対処に腐心している.第4に,敵対的買収に対して否定的な考え方が強いが,敵対的買収に対する備えとしては,業績改善,IRの充実,株主への利益還元を重視している.また,防衛策として株式持合いも重視しており,事前警告型買収防衛策を導入すれば株式持合いは必要ないと考えるのではなく,両者をむしろ補完的に考えている.

In the case of a fire incident such as arson, the combustion experiment that reconstructed the fire scene will be conducted to clarify the facts. However, various problems such as construction costs and securing an experimental environment must be dealt with. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to utilize fire simulation for the investigation of fire incidents. In this study, combustion experiments and FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) simulations assuming gasoline arson in the kitchen, which have not been reported so far, were conducted and compared. Next, the observation of fire damage using the accumulated heat-flux was evaluated by a newly developed analysis tool for visual evaluation. The simulation results such as burning behavior, temperature changes, and the burned away phenomenon of the door showed good agreement with those experimental results. Burning behavior in the kitchen, that couldn't be observed in the combustion experiment were grasped in detail in the simulation. Furthermore, the relationship between the fire source and the fire damage on the floor, which couldn't be explained only by the observation results after extinguishing the fire, could be reasonably explained by the visual evaluation of burning behavior and the accumulated heat-flux in the kitchen by using the simulation. Therefore, the fire simulation was shown to be an effective tool for analyzing fire phenomena.

This report is a record of a symposium aimed at analyzing the imagination of Kenji Miyazawa’s work from a psychiatric perspective. Some of Miyazawa’s works are highly recordable and are interpreted as reflecting his realistic situation. This report takes the poem “Shukan”, and analyzes it from the perspective of “dissociation”, showing that it can be interpreted as “imaginary companion”.

症例は63歳の男性,身長165 cm,体重55 kg。大動脈弁閉鎖不全症・僧帽弁閉鎖不全症の再燃に対し手術が予定された。麻酔導入後,完全房室ブロックと血圧低下を来たし,一時胸骨圧迫を要した。気道内圧の上昇と全身性の紅斑を認め,アナフィラキシーショックと診断した。経食道心エコーで全周性の壁運動低下,肺動脈圧の上昇を認めたため,冠攣縮を疑い硝酸薬を投与した。その後速やかに肺動脈圧の低下と心収縮能の改善が得られ,血行動態は安定した。アナフィラキシーまたは急性冠症候群の徴候を認めた際には常にKounis症候群の可能性の考慮と,状況に応じた速やかな治療が求められる。
