The most important Characteristics of Veblen's evolutionary economics lay in presenting the unfolding system of an accumulative process of institutions. According to Veblen, institutions are the habits of thought, in other words, the spiritual attitudes or the norms of conduct in a particular community. Although each community has its own institutional and cultural complex, “the instinct of workmanship”, that is, the abiding trait of human nature shaped in an ancient period, remains at the bottom of the complex, and secures the preservation of the species. Within limits set by workmanship, the emulative norms of conduct such as predatory exploit, conspicuous leisure and consumption can prevail. Since the instinct of workmanship coalesced with pecuniary success in the age of handicraft, automatic economic growth has been built in to continue forever. Those who cannot adapt themselves to machine technology are inclined to retrogress into more familiar and older norms of conduct. Veblen's theory of social evolution cannot be fully understood without appreciating the role of retrogression in it. We cannot find any idea of such retrogression in either New or Neo-Institutional Economics.

心不全患者における栄養状態は予後予測因子であり,その評価は重要である.栄養障害の要因は多岐にわたるが心機能の面からは左心機能より右心機能の関与が注目されている.栄養状態の評価は問診,採血項目,身体計測,バイオインピーダンス法などの生理機能検査などが行われているが決定的な方法は確立されていない.当院では簡便な指標としてエコーを用いた大腿直筋厚の有用性を報告してきた.また,退院前の食事摂取エネルギー量の評価をすることで必要な食事摂取ができているか評価をし,どのような要因がその阻害因子になっているかを検討して介入している.当院での取り組みを紹介しながら心不全患者における栄養について概説する

アルコールは酵母のもたらす最大の贈り物である。その甘美な贈り物も,飲み方によっては醜悪な贈り物と化してしまうため,アルコール代謝動態の研究は重要であるが,飲酒時の様々な条件が及ぼす影響については,エビデンスが少ない。そこで,飲酒時の種々の条件の中でも特に重要な飲酒時の食事摂取が,アルコール代謝動態に及ぼす影響,ならびにその役割について主にヒトでのデータを基に今回解説いただいた。

KRAS遺伝子変異は非小細胞肺癌を含むヒトの癌で頻度の高いがん遺伝子変異の一つである.発見から30年以上のKRAS変異陽性癌の治療法開発にもかかわらず,臨床的有用性を示す薬物は得られず,創薬不能な標的とされてきた.理由として,KRASとGTPの親和性は高く結合阻害は困難,KRASの下流シグナルや膜結合に必要な翻訳後修飾はいくつも平行しており,単一の経路や修飾反応の阻害では他の活性化が起こる,KRAS変異陽性癌は必ずしもKRASに生死が依存していないことなどが考えられる.2013年にGDP結合KRASに低分子化合物がはまるポケットが見出され,G12C変異KRASに限定的ながら,KRASを不活性なGDP結合型に非可逆的に固定する化合物が報告された.この発見に基づき,ソトラシブやアダグラシブなどのG12C特異的阻害剤が開発され,前者は2021年に米国で,2次治療以降のKRASG12C変異陽性非小細胞肺癌に対し迅速承認された.今後,G12C以外の直接阻害剤,G12C阻害剤との併用療法,耐性獲得後の対策,有効な患者選択のためのバイオマーカーなどについて,さらなる研究開発が待たれる.

The purpose of this study is to build the new organizational theory in ball games of team sports. For this aim, the authors focused on the training principle of ecological training and its philosophical foundation.The philosophical foundation of ecological training is ecological dynamics, and this is being integrated ecological psychology and dynamical system. We revealed theoretical principles (A, the attunement to affordances; B, the exploration of adaptive movement variability in meta-stability; C, the exploitation of neurobiological degeneracy), methodological principles (A’, individual constraints; B’, environmental constraints; C’, task constraints) and general principles (A”, education of attention; B”, education of calibration; C”, education of intention) from this philosophical foundation. The structure of these (theoretical, methodological and general) principles is fractal (theoretical ⇒ methodological ⇒ general) and they are interacting, as the superstructure is including the understructure.A training is needed to be designed as aggregation of competitive environment, so environments of sports are unpredictable and have noise. Players are capable to perform the creative and dynamic play that emerge generation and decay (i.e., self-organization and dissipation), thorough interaction between them and environments. We defined its play as frail emergence.The issue in the future is to propose the concrete training of ecological training and consider the organizational theory based on ecological dynamics.

金融機関における信用リスク管理業務では,法人債務者のデフォルトに対する予兆管理が行われている.この点,債務者が大企業を中心とした上場企業であれば,企業の信用状態をタイムリーに反映しやすい株価などをデフォルトの予兆管理指標として活用できるが,中堅中小企業を中心とした非上場企業には,信用状態を即時に反映する指標が存在しない.また,信用リスク管理業務では,財務情報を用いた信用リスク評価が一般的に行われているが,財務計数には,信頼性及び即時性の面で一定の制約がある.そこで,本稿では,中堅中小企業を中心とした非上場企業にも適用可能で,かつタイムリーなモニタリングを実現するためのデフォルト予測モデルを構築する.具体的には,金融機関の預金口座における入出金情報を用いて,機械学習モデルや統計モデルを用いたデフォルト予測モデルを構築し,モデル精度の検証を行い,そのうえで予兆管理実務への適用可能性について検討する.モデル精度検証の結果,入出金情報を用いた場合において,機械学習モデルの精度は十分に実用可能な水準であることが確認された.また,機械学習モデル対比ではやや精度が落ちるものの,解釈性に優れたロジットモデルについても,実務で十分に活用可能な精度を有することが確認された.

This paper aims at making clear from both historical and spatial aspects how and by what reasons the owner-ccupation has spreaded in urban areas of Japan by means of taking the cases of 24 main cities into consideration. The conclusion concerning to historical change is summarized as follows: 1) Before the war, the private renting was the dominant tenure of urban housing excepte for housing located in the suburbs of the big cities and several new industrial cities rapidly urbanized, where the sign of the growth of the owner-occupied sector was emerging. 2) The remarkable increase of the owner-occupied ratio from 22.3% in 1941 to 41.3% in 1948 causes to an enormus degree by the war damage and the housing constructin immediately after the end of the war, which determined the changing direction of housing tenure after the war. 3) For the postwar period, the change of a distrubution ratio of housing tenure has been caused mainly by rapid urban growth, especially the intensive concentration in metropolitain areas throughout the period of the high economic growing and the amount of new rental housing has sharply reflected on it. While the number of owner-occupied housing has constantly increased throughout the same period and as compared with the renting, the owner-occupation is more stable and accumulative as tenure type. On the other hand, through the spatial ananlysis, it became clear that there were several differet patterns in the increasing process of the owner-occupation, the main two patterns are as foolows : 1) Metropolitan type・・・ After having accumulated the private renting, owner-occupied housing has increased in parallel with the real urbanization. 2) Local type ・・・In the cities where urbanization has been inseparably related to the incorporation of rural areas, the owner-occupied ratio has risen through the increasing number of a farmhouse and being based on it, the real urban housing has been formed on the side of the owner-occupied sector. Most of cities of Japan are subject to the latter model and it means that the tenure of a farmhouse has significantly contributed to the expantion of the owner-occupation. The ratio of the owner-occupied has been determined not only by the factors which caused the change in the national level as mentioned above, but also by the special factors of each city such as historical and cultural characteristics concerning to the choise of housing tenure.

The way of enjoying Sanuki Udon has been changed from eating to tasting and comparing some different Udon shops in all over Kagawa prefecture. This trend has led to Sanuki Udon boom. The purpose of this study is to clarify the locational characteristic of Sanuki Udon shops from spatial perspective in Takamatsu city, Kagawa prefecture. The analysis used GIS from 4 viewpoints that are Type of Service, Spatiality, Population, and Accessibility. As a result, it was revealed that the Sanuki Udon shop was located not to be conscious of tourists' behavior.

酒石酸モランテルの安全性評価のため各種毒性試験を行なった.その結果, 本剤の急性毒性は比較的弱く, 普通物に該当する. 眼に対する刺激性はわずかに認められたが, 薬剤の希釈により刺激性は軽減した. また, 皮膚に対する刺激性はなかったが, 皮膚感作性は陽性であり, 皮膚にアレルギー反応を生じる可能性があると判断された. 一方, 6か月毒性試験では高用量群 (27,500ppm) において, 死亡例の発生, 体重の減少, 摂餌量の減少, 剖検時の全身性の消耗, 諸器官の萎縮性変化などがみられたが, 本剤投与による特異的な変化は認められなかった. 変異原性は陰性であった. また, 催奇形性に関しても問題はなかった.酒石酸モランテル液剤であるグリンガードは昭和57年11月に登録を取得した. また, 8%液剤であるグリンガード・エイトは昭和61年7月に登録を取得し, マツノザイセンチュウの侵入・増殖を阻止して松枯れを防止する樹幹注入剤として使用されている.酒石酸モランテルは, 定められた使用基準を遵守すれば, 安全性が確保されるものであり, 松枯れを防止する有用な農薬として上市以来好評を得ている.

日本の小学校生活科の教科書にある学習後のアメリカザリガニの扱いに関する記述について調査した。その結果,約 30 年の間に,記述なしあるいは野外への放逐を推奨する記述から,野外放逐と飼育継続を選択させる記述を経て,飼育継続を推奨する記述へと変遷していることが明らかとなった。

Prader-Willi症候群(PWS)は、筋緊張低下、肥満、性腺発育不全、精神遅滞を主徴候とする先天性疾患である。肥満とその合併症が生命予後にかかわることから、肥満対策が不可欠とされている。今回筆者らは、身体合併症(心不全、糖尿病、睡眠時無呼吸)があり、生命維持のために減量が必要であったが、食行動異常のほか、こだわり、かんしゃく、放火、俳徊などの多くの問題行動のため、小児科での治療が困難であった13歳男子のPWSの入院治療を行った。入院後も激しい問題行動と、体重測定さえできないほど肥満治療に対しての抵抗が強く、入院生活の継続も懸念された状態であったが、刺激を統制し、オペラント強化法を用いるための治療上の工夫を行ったことにより、患者が積極的に楽しく肥満治療に取り組みながら16kgの減量に成功し、身体合併症の著明な改善がみられた。この治療成果は本症例の生涯にわたる肥満治療において重要な役割を果たすと考えられた。

In recent years, it is reported that UV light affect DNA damage, skin cancer and photo-aging such as age-spots and wrinkle. Along with the increasing awareness to protect the skin from UV light in these days, multi-functionalization is required to sunscreen not only for pool, sea and sports use, but also for daily use. Functions of sunscreen are needed to have high UV protection efficacy and less burden use feeling on the skin such as transparency after applying, moisturizing effect and comfortable feeling. In addition to that, it is reported that friction resistant function is important from the view point of actual consumer dairy life. This article reviews sunscreen formulations with high UVA protection efficacy and moisturizing of W/O technology by using plate like zinc oxide, and even protection film O/W technology by using α-gel capsule of UV absorbers. Furthermore, it also reviews UV protect evaluation method of sunscreen and sunscreen effects for photodermatosis, skin cancer and photo-aging such as age-spot, wrinkle and skin color evenness.

造礁サンゴの石灰化について,特に溶存無機炭素の役割に着目し,これまでに提唱されている石灰化メカニズムをレビューした。サンゴの石灰化は造骨細胞と骨格に挟まれた間隙の,いわゆる石灰化母液で進行する。石灰化の進行には,この石灰化母液にカルシウムイオンと溶存無機炭素(特に炭酸水素イオン)が適切に供給される必要があり,石灰化の阻害因子となる水素イオンが適切に除去されなければならない。造骨細胞に存在する炭酸脱水酵素は溶存無機炭素の供給に寄与していると考えられる。サンゴの石灰化機構の解明は,いまだ道半ばであり,今後の一層の研究の進展が待たれる。サンゴの石灰化メカニズムの解明は,その海洋酸性化影響を評価する上でも重要である。

医療機関での頭痛の実態調査を行い,就労者の健康や職場環境のあり方につき検討した.労働者健康安全機構東京労災病院に勤務する職員に対し,アンケート方式にてデータ収集を行った (回収率97%) .頭痛は女性に有意に多く,職種別では看護師に有意に多かった.頭痛時の自覚的な就業能力も低下しており,頭痛は気圧の変化,夜勤明け,忙しいときに生じやすかった.職場での配慮に関しては「自分からは言わない」と回答した職員が53.6%いた.頭痛で早退・欠勤したことがある職員は5%以下であった.頭痛時は就業能力が低下していても休める状況ではなく,プレゼンティーズムが問題であった.職場での頭痛に対する理解や休息できる環境整備などが重要である.
