There are a lot of long-standing companies in Kyoto, these companies are famous in worldwide. Also, you can see a typical long-standing company in all categories of business. The product and service which these companies offers have provided the peculiar value that starts appealing to human sensibility. However, it is high possible that to keep providing the same product and service with the special value is left in the trend, and it often becomes impossible to carry on their business. So, they can not continue their business in a long term and it is impossible to be a long-standing company. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the change of product/service by innovation for the Kyoto long-standing companies. We present three long-standing companies case at Kyoto. First, it is the long-standing inn “Tawaraya.” Second, it is the long-standing incense “Yamadamatsu.” Finally, it is the long-standing Karakami (a sliding door) “Karacho.” According to the case studies based on interviews, we analyze their innovation of their Kansei product and service using the product innovation method.

「自己決定権」の概念は、人工妊娠中絶へのアクセスを求めるフェミニズムの主張の論拠として1980年代後半以降広く使われてきたが、日本のフェミニズムは「権利」の語の使用には積極的ではなく、それはしばしば忌避され、ときには棄却されてきた。フェミニストたちは、自己決定することは胎児の生命の価値を否定するものではない、女性の「自己」とは胎児と別個に存在しているのではない、と繰り返し論じてきたが、「権利」のないその「自己決定」は「決定」の名に値するものなのか。はたして「権利」は中絶をめぐるフェミニズムの言説において本当に必要ないのだろうか。これらの問いに答えるために、カール・シュミット、ジャック・デリダ、エルネスト・ラクラウらの議論を参照して主体と決定との構成的な関係を考察する。それによりフェミニズムが用いてきた自己決定権の主張がはらむ問題点を明らかにし、これまで避けられてきた「権利」概念の必要性を論じたい。

The Votta’s equation is usually used for constant-force spiral spring. But the calculated result is not consistent with experiment. One of the main factor comes from the value of Young’s modulus. Generally, Young’s modulus measured by tensile test, does not quite correspond to the value by bending test. We measure the Young’s modulus by bending once more to verify the validity of equations. Furthermore, we point out some logical mistakes in Votta’s equation.We formulate the rigorous equation considering variable load, and then simplify this assuming constant load for practical design.

本研究の目的は,異なる社会経済的背景をもつ2つの公立中学校を対象にした分析から,「現場の教授学」を形作る要因としての階層文化の影響に焦点をあて,それらと「学校のコンサマトリー化」の関係性について検討することである。 対象となった北中と南中ではそれぞれ,生徒や保護者が異なる特徴をもつものとして理解され,こうした教師の解釈によって「現場の教授学」は構築されている。教師と生徒は互いにあまり立ち入らず一定の距離を保ちながら,教師による生徒への強制や命令的コントロールは極力避けられるべきものとして捉えられている北中に対して,南中では,教師が主導権を握り,生徒に対して体当たりで勝負することが求められる。ここから,北中では,「コンサマトリー化」と呼ばれる現象が進行しつつあるようにも見えるが,南中では,そうした図式は当てはまらないことがわかる。 このような両校の違いについては,次のように理解することができる。まず,市場化や現代的な人間関係上の規範といったポストモダンな変容を学校にもたらしている社会的要因は,特に中産階級層において浸透してきており,そうした価値が学校に持ち込まれる際に生じる階層差によって,「学校のコンサマトリー化」の進行には違いが生じるということ。さらには,生徒の文化に歩み寄る形で構築される「現場の教授学」の性質が,「コンサマトリー化」を促進する働きをもっているということである。

The improvement of water resistance of natural leather is a worldwide subject of investigation in leather industries.The present study was carried out to examine the effects of tanning and retanning agents on the water vapour and liquid water absorbability of collagen fibers as a fundamental study. By a recovery process with a less degree of alkali treatment, collagen fibers were obtained from the shoulder part of salted steer hide (58 lbs.). When the collagen fibers were treated with vegetable tannin or basic chromium sulfate, their absorbability of collagen fibers for the vapour and liquid water decreased as the degree of tanning increased. Such decreases were greater in case of chrome tanning at high pH values. Retanning with syntans and vegetable tannin showed a tendency to increase the vapour and liquid water absorbability of chrome collagen fibers. On the other hand, retanning of chrome collagen fibers with resin type syntans, acrylic resin (emulsion type) and inorganic tanning agent was recognized to cause a reverse effect.

【背景】電解質異常のため経静脈的な補充(DIV)が必要な腸管機能不全(IF)の症例で,低カリウム(K)血症の原因がナトリウム(Na)とマグネシウム(Mg)の欠乏と推測された症例を報告する.【症例】症例1 は20 歳女性.トライツ靭帯から70cm の空腸が経肛門にプルスルーされている.症例2 は10 歳男児.残存小腸は50cm で,回盲弁は無く上行結腸より肛門側が残存.ともに経口でカロリーは摂取できるが,低K 血症のためDIV に依存していた.尿中Na 排泄の抑制からNa 欠乏を疑い,Na を補給した.また低Mg 血症を認め,Mg を補給した.低K 血症は改善し,症例1 はDIV での電解質投与量を漸減中で,症例2 はDIVから離脱できた.【考察】報告症例の低K 血症の原因はNa とMg の欠乏であった.電解質異常でDIV 依存となっているIF には,検査上低下している電解質の補給では改善されない症例もあり,注意が必要である.

Seeds of Macropsychanthus (Fabaceae) drifted on the coasts of Japanese islands were classified to seven species based on about 700 seed collections. The identified species were M.comosus (G.Mey.) L.P.Queitoz & Snak, M.ferrugineus Merr., M.hexander (Ralph) L.P.Queiroz & Snak, M.javanicus (Benth.) L.P.Queiroz & Snak, M.umbrinus (Elmer) L.P.Queiroz & Snak, M.wilsonii Standl.) L.P.Queiroz & Snak, and an unknown species(M. " mable " tentatively named). Most frequent seeds are M.hexander, which were about 80% of all drift seeds of Macropsychanthus. The following frequent species were M.wilsonii (5%), M.comosus (4%), M.ferrugineus (4%) and M.javanicus (3%). M.umbrinus and M. " mable " were rarely drifted and about 1%, respectively.The characters of their seeds were described.

疼痛性障害を呈する患者に対し、マインドフルネスに力点を置いたAcceptance & Commitment Therapy(ACT)を導入したことにより、生活上の問題が大きく改善した事例を報告する。来院当初は、痛みを含む身体症状に対し、医療機関を頻回に受診するなどの援助希求を伴う回避行動をとっており、行動範囲の縮小、心配や反芻を繰り返すことによる抑うつ症状を呈していた。そこで、過去の失敗経験や未来の心配と距離をおく脱フュージョンや、自らの体験を回避せずに観察するアクセプタンスを導入したうえで、今を偏りなく観察するマインドフルネスの促進に力点を置いた。その結果、回避行動の随伴性をモニタリングし、習慣的行動をいったん停止するプロセスとしての自己および文脈としての自己の高まりや、身体症状をアクセプトしながら実生活の中で正の強化が得られやすい行動の拡大が認められ、特性不安や抑うつ感情も大幅に改善した。

On February 19, 2013, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed that it would be worth considering “unified Russian history textbooks” that show “respect to all pages of our past.” This announcement has been interpreted as patriotic propaganda or an attempt at re-writing the past to justify authoritarianism in the present. To be sure, we cannot overlook the clear intensification of patriotism under the Putin regime. Also, we cannot deny that Russian citizens’ protests against election fraud during 2011–12 led to Putin’s countermeasures, such as the creation of quasi-social historical organizations, advocacy for unified textbooks, and so on. These measures are clear examples of Putin’s historical politics, by which he means to use history arbitrarily for political purposes.However, it is quite misleading to say that Putin has successfully ordered the history textbooks rewritten to strengthen his own rule. In fact, we see three types of undercurrent concerning the policy on unified history textbooks. First, a group of young politicians with patriotic views advocated the unification of textbooks in response to neighboring countries’ historical politics. Cultural Minister Vladimir Medinsky is a typical example of this group. Second, academic historians such as Aleksandr Chubaryan, director of the Institute of World History, sought to build a basic consensus on historical outlook among historians and people within Russia. Third, there were some liberal groups who opposed any kind of forced textbook unification by the government.Putin monitored these undercurrents, adapting his historical politics as necessary, and avoided dire conflicts between the government and any of these groups. In the end, the “historical-cultural standard” was created, which every textbook must follow. The standard, however, is very general and loose. Therefore, two history textbooks with somewhat different viewpoints were authorized by the education ministry.One characteristic of Putin’s method of governance is the adoption of halfway solutions to disputed issues. They often fail to solve conflicts between groups, and sometimes even preserve them. In this sense, conflicts over historical politics, including those regarding history textbooks, will continue in the future.

In this paper I will clarify the relationship between the meaning of “Solitude” as a way of life, and the meaning of “Little Deaths” which were discussed by Kazuko Watanabe, a Catholic sister. Watanabe defined “Solitude” as the original way of human existence, and as a positive concept. She showed that “Little Deaths” were experienced when living with a consciousness of death, and when living honestly. Furthermore, living honestly means facing oneself and living honestly in “Solitude,” which is seen as the original way of life for human beings. In other words, she seemed to say that the original way of human existence is to accumulate experiences of “Little Deaths” through “Solitude” and honesty.

ビタミンK拮抗薬のワルファリンは,50年以上唯一の経口抗凝固薬として,心房細動,静脈血栓塞栓症に対して用いられてきた.2011年よりトロンビン阻害薬のダビガトラン,Xa阻害薬のリバーロキサバン,アピキサバン,エドキサバンという4つの直接経口抗凝固薬(direct oral anticoagulants:DOAC)が利用可能となり,その簡便性からこれらの病態に対する抗凝固薬のunderuseが改善されつつある.これらのDOACはいずれも大多数の患者を対象としたグローバル型大規模臨床試験でその有効性,安全性が証明されている.一方で,1)日本におけるワルファリン使用法はこれまでグローバル基準と同一でなかったこと,2)日本ではグローバルと比較して急速に高齢化が進み,大規模臨床試験の登録基準には当てはまらない高齢者が極めて多いことなど,大規模臨床試験の成績だけで日本の医療向上が単純に期待できるわけでなく,今後,様々な新しい課題の解決が必要である.

近年、我が国では人口減少、超高齢社会を迎える時代にあり、コンパクトシティの構築が要求されている。その中、都心居住の促進は今後の都市づくりに貢献すると考えられる。本研究は、高齢者を考慮し、徒歩で暮らせる都心居住空間を創出するため、都市施設に対する重要度および都市施設までの移動距離に対する満足率に着目し、住民の視点から都市施設に基づく居住環境を評価するための評価指標、および評価モデルを作成した。そして、作成した評価モデルを地方都市に適用し、現状の居住環境を評価した。その結果、都心に近い地点の方が高く評価されていることが判明した。
