We carried out continuous gravity observation with a Scintrex CG-3M gravimeter at Asama Volcano Observatory from September 4 to October 22 in 2007.We tried to detect hydrological gravity effects after heavy rainfall by Typhoon 200709 (FITOW). To detect hydrological gravity effects we supposed a simple tank model as proposed for the Matsushiro superconducting gravimeter observation, which model represented immediate gravity increase and gradual decrease after rainfall. Parameters of the tank model were estimated using an ABIC minimization iversion method and precipitation data as inputs. As a result, hydrological gravity effects were extracted from gravity residuals although gravity residuals included a large non-linear drift. And the extracted hydrological gravity effects corresponded to temporal gravity changes simultaneously observed with an FG5 absolute gravimeter. Our success promises expanding opportunities of continuous observation by using CG-3M gravimeters in the future.

本研究では、「気になる子」を担任する幼稚園教諭(コンサルティ)に対する集団コンサルテーションプログラムを作成・実施し、その効果を検討した。6名のコンサルティに対して全6回(フォーローアップ1回を含む)のプログラムを実施し、行動の見方や対応方法を応用行動分析学に基づき教授した。また、グループワークにおいては、コンサルティが行った「気になる子」の観察記録をもとに対応方法を検討した。その対応をコンサルティが実践した結果、対象児の行動に改善がみられた。さらに、コンサルティが子どもに対応する際に感じるストレスが軽減し、保育者としての効力感が向上した。満足度アンケートによる評価も高く、このコンサルテーションの内容は、幼稚園において実施可能であり、その対応方法は「気になる子」の支援に有効であることが示唆された。

Reed canarygrass (Phalaris arundinacea L.) has been recognized as a major invasive plant in the US in recent years. In Japan, the differences between the native and invasive genotypes are unclear. To identify these differences, chromosomal analysis using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with 5S/45S rDNA probes was carried out on 7 populations of putative native Japanese P. arundinacea and 3 exotic P. arundinacea. The results showed that all populations were tetraploids (2n=4x=28). The 45S rDNA were mapped on 4 sites corresponding with the ploidy level in all populations. On the other hand, the numbers of 5S rDNA sites differed among the populations. Moreover, the 5S rDNA sites differed among individuals even within the same populations. Thus, the chromosomal characteristics could not ensure that the putative native Japanese P. arundinacea are the native.

本研究は,脳・心臓疾患による過労死の多発職種であるトラックドライバーにおいて,労災認定要件であ る過重負荷と過労の関連について質問紙調査を行った.1911人の男性トラックドライバーから,属性,健康状態, 過重負荷(労働条件:運行形態,時間外労働時間,夜間・早朝勤務回数,休息条件:睡眠取得状況,休日数),疲労感に関する回答を得た.運行形態別には,地場夜間・早朝運行で他運行に比して一か月間の時間外労働が 101時間を超す割合が多く,深夜・早朝勤務回数が多く,勤務日の睡眠時間が短く,1日の疲労を持ち越す割合 が多かった.長距離運行では地場昼間運行に比して夜勤・早朝勤務回数が多く,休日数が少なかったものの, 睡眠時間は勤務日も休日も長く,過労トラックドライバーの割合は変わらなかった.過労状態は,1日の疲労の持ち越しに対して勤務日と休日の5時間未満の睡眠との間に関連が見られた.週の疲労の持ち越しに対しては,一か月間の101時間以上の時間外労働,休日の7時間未満の睡眠,4日未満の休日の影響が見られた。運行形態間で労働・休息条件が異なること,また1日と週の過労に関連する労働・休息条件が異なること,過労に影響 を与えたのは主に睡眠時間と休日数の休息条件であったことから,トラックドライバーの過労対策には運行形態にあわせた休日配置と睡眠管理の重要性が示唆された.

新型コロナウイルス(COVID―19)に関するテレビ報道は,「災害の影響が特定の地域に限定されない」,「災害現場が特定できない」,「専門家の知見への依存度が高い」,「対応策の『正解』が日々更新される」といった点で従来の自然災害報道とは一線を画すものであった。本稿では,2020 年1月以降に国内のテレビ放送事業者が直面した困難とその解決策について「リスク・コミュニケーション」の概念を端緒として考察する。本稿では,全国のテレビ局を対象としたアンケート調査と6 社9名を対象としたインデプスインタビュー調査を実施し,「不確実性」の高い災害においてテレビ局によるリスク・コミュニケーションの促進がいかなる条件のもと可能か検討した。調査により得られた知見から,「視聴者ニーズ把握の困難」と「科学的根拠の検証能力の不足による専門家依存」というテレビ局の直面する課題を解決するため,「災害報道に関するメタ知識の提供」,「災害/科学技術担当記者の役割の見直し」,「記者のリカレント教育の強化」の3 点を提言した。

近年,VR技術の発展により,容易に人の外見を変化させる体験が可能となった.それに伴い,アバタを用いてVR空間に没入することで自己認知が変化し,重さ知覚にも影響を及ぼすことが示されている.しかし,それらの報告の多くは,限定的なアバタを用いた定性的な評価に留まっている.そこで本研究では,ユーザがアバタに抱く力強さの印象を数値で表現するための指標を作成し,多様なアバタを用いてVR空間に没入したときに,ユーザが受ける力強さの印象と重さ知覚の関係を定量的に分析する.実際の室内環境を再現した仮想空間にアバタを用いて没入した状態で,一定の重さの物体を持ち上げる実験を行った結果,アバタの力強さの印象と,同じ物体をより軽く感じる重さ錯覚の間には,特定のアバタに依存しない相関関係が確認できた.

This study aimed to investigate the differences in the development of muscle thickness (MT) in the lower limbs with specific sports-event training. Furthermore, the relationship between MT of the lower limbs for weightlifters and sprinters and their competition performances (total weight lifted and 100m sprint times) was examined. Subjects were 64 males divided into 3 groups: weightlifters (n=20), sprinters (n=20), and untrained subjects as controls (n=24). The MT{relative to (body weight)1/3}of knee extensors (KE), knee flexors (KF), plantar flexors (PF) and dorsi flexors (DF) was measured at 21 sites (proximal, middle and distal) along the length of the upper and lower leg by B-mode ultrasound. The MT of KE for weightlifters was significantly greater than that for sprinters and controls, while the MT of KF and PF for sprinters was significantly greater than that for weightlifters and controls. The MT of rectus femoris (RF), vastus intermedius (VI), vastus lateralis (VL) and vastus medialis (VM) for weightlifters was significantly greater than that for sprinters and controls, while the MT of RF and VM for sprinters was greater than that of controls. On the other hand, the MT of KE for weightlifters and sprinters (especially VM) correlated significantly with competition performances. These results indicated that squatting affected the MT of KE except for RF while sprinting affected the MT of KF and PF. It was also concluded that the MT of KE for weightlifters and sprinters (particularly VM) was related to their competition performances.

多発性硬化症の診断は,病巣が単発性の場合,しばしば脳腫瘍や脳炎・脳症との鑑別が困難になる.今回われわれは延髄に2 cm大の腫瘤性病変を認め,当初脳幹部グリオーマが疑われたが,最終的に多発性硬化症の診断に至った11歳男児例を経験した.患児は下肢痛の出現後,約2週間の経過で四肢麻痺,意識障害,呼吸不全が進行した.急性の臨床経過がグリオーマの臨床経過と合致せず,診断が困難であったため,手術自体の危険性を説明の上,組織生検を施行した.組織像では明らかな腫瘍細胞を確認しなかったこと,及び症状が急性に進行していることから非腫瘍性疾患の可能性を考え,ステロイドパルス療法を施行したところ速やかに回復し,ほぼ障害を残さずに退院した.その後初発から9か月後に他の部位に再発し,臨床的に多発性硬化症の診断に至った.脳幹部の組織生検は容易ではないが,適切な治療法選択の上で極めて重要な役割を果たした.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of time pressure (TP) on the speed of stimulus evaluation and processing resources, and speed and accuracy of the behavioral response, using P300. The participants were 13 physical education students (mean age 18.85 years, SD 0.95), who were presented with a flanker task involving spacing between letters. Under non-TP conditions, there was no feedback sound even if there was no reaction before the stimulus was replaced by a new stimulus. The TP condition was a feedback sound that was triggered if no reaction occurred within 350 ms. The results showed that in terms of behavioral parameters, the reaction time became shorter with increasing TP. In addition, response accuracy decreased with increasing TP. Among physiological indices, P300 latency at Pz was shorter and P300 amplitude at Pz was larger under TP conditions than under non-TP conditions. Our results suggest that TP shortens the process of stimulus evaluation, and that more processing resources are required under TP conditions.

学習効果を高めるために学生が実践する学習方法(認知的方略)が,薬学生の学習成果にどのような影響を与えているかを推察するため,薬学生の認知的方略と卒業試験成績との関連性について解析した.学年を区別して確認的因子分析を行う多母集団同時分析により,「深い処理方略」,「まとめ作業方略」,「反復作業方略」の3つの認知的方略が共通に使用されていることが抽出され,また因子間相関から各認知的方略の使用傾向が学年によって異なることが示された.これらの認知的方略と薬学科6年生の卒業試験との関連性について,「深い処理方略」の使用が卒業試験成績に対し正の影響を示した.一方「反復作業方略」を多く使用する学生ほど成績が相対的に低く,この方略による学習は卒業試験成績に反映され難いことが推定された.以上より,将来の卒業試験に向けた「深い処理方略」の使用促進のため,低学年のうちからその有効性を認知させることが重要であると考えられた.
