本研究では、中学生を対象とした 2 時点の縦断調査を実施し、レーティング区分ごとのゲーム ソフト利用による攻撃性および暴力に対する規範意識への影響を検討した。調査は、2008年度末と2009 年度末に実施し、東京、千葉、埼玉の公立中学校12校、1218名の中学生が分析対象となった。分析の結 果、男子学生では、C区分の暴力的ゲームソフト利用によって、1 年後の暴力に対する規範意識が低下 することが示された。B区分の暴力的ゲームソフトや非暴力的ゲームソフト利用ではこのような影響は 見られず、レーティング区分によって影響が異なることが一部で示唆された。

排卵は性ステロイドホルモンによつて抑制をうけるが, その本体については異論があり見解の一致がえられない. 筆者はそれらのもつEstrogenecityを重視し, これをその本質的な作用の一つとみなす立場を主張し Estrogenを用いてその実験的な裏付を行なつた. Estrogenの発情作用についてはDD系去勢成熟マウスを用いEstradioldipropionate, Estriol, Estriol tripropionateの比は40:2:1の割合であることを認めた. Estrogenの性腺抑制作用を検討しEstriolは従来Estrogen of vaginaといわれ, その性腺抑制作用についてはうたがわしいとみなされたが投与量の如何によつて性腺抑制作用を有することを認め, これをもとに排卵性周期を確認した婦人5名にEstriol tripropionate 5mgを月経周期の第3〜15日に投与し全例に排卵抑制を認めた. Ethinylestradiol-3 methyletherを用い, ラットにこれを連続して服用させた実験群と周期的に服用させた実験群とに分け, 卵巣の組織学的所見及び下垂体PAS陽性細胞出現率より周期的投与群が連続投与群に比べ著明な性腺抑制作用のみられぬことを認めた. 以上の結果よりEthinylestradiol-3 methyletherを人の排卵抑制には20日間服用法で, 月経周期5日目より1日当り60〜80γ服用させ, そのいずれにおいても排卵抑制が認められる結果をえた. 同時に尿中Total Gonadotropinを測定し軽度の減少を認め, 長期に亘る服用例でも重篤な性器出血その他の副作用を認めなかつた.

In Japan, when a person is given a deputy order by a court (i.e.placed under "guardianship") because they are incapable of handling their financial affairs, that person ceases to have the right to vote (Section 11 (1) 1 of the Japanese Electoral Law). This is so automatic that there are no further opportunities for them to claim that they are capable of voting. In Japanese law, there is no principle of "assumption of capacity" as provided in Section 1 (1) of the Mental Capacity Act in the U.K. The absence of this principle can easily cause "assumption of incapacity" in many different contexts. In addition, the principles "time-specific" and "issue-specific" are not established in Japanese law. This legal environment has meant that such an association (no financial management=no vote) has been left unquestioned by lawyers, politicians and the general public. Currently, the first case in Japanese legal history is being tried. The automatic deprivation of the right to vote is now being questioned from a "human rights" perspective. The real meaning of "democracy", which is to include "everyone" from various backgrounds, is now at issue.

本稿の目的は、ノルウェーの先住民高等教育機関・サーミ大学において成人向けに開講されている「北サーミ語初心者実践コース」に注目し、受講生の学習動機、言語復興に関する学習の成果や課題を提示することである。インタビュー調査の分析によって明らかになったのは、主に次の事項である。①学習動機に関しては、サーミ以外の受講生に「道具的志向」と「統合的志向」が目立ったのに対し、サーミの受講生には「連続的志向」がみられた。②学習成果としては、地域社会や自然・文化資源を学習環境の一部として取り入れたプログラムに対する生徒からの評価は高く、特に会話力の向上を指摘する声が多かった。その一方で、辞書や補助教材については課題が幾つくか残っている。次世代への言語継承には親世代の取組みが重要となるが、サーミ語を学ぶ成人向け教育プログラムが言語復興に果たす役割は大きく、今後の重要な研究課題の一つとなるだろう。

The heat transfer rate through lined clothes was measured for various lining materials. Heat transfer resistance, which is a scale of the heat retention capability of clothes, increased as a function of the amount of lining material used per unit area. The heat transfer resistance of clothes with down lining was large, those with feather and cotton fibers were 3/4 that of down, and those with crimped polyester fiber and wool fiber were 1/2 that of down. The heat transfer coefficient of lining is given by the sum of the conductive heat transfer coefficient and the radiant heat transfer coefficient. The conductive heat transfer coefficient decreases with an increase in the thickness of the lining. The radiant heat transfer rate through the lining decreases with the shading of the lined material. The decreasing fraction in the radiant heat transfer coefficient against empty air space is defined as the shading fraction. The shading fraction increased with an increase in the amount of lining used, and the shading fraction of the down lining was large, as was the heat transfer resistance of lined clothes. The shading fraction of feather lining was small, which was the reason for the small heat transfer resistance of clothes with feather lining, despite having the same thickness as the down lining. Fiber diameters of lining fiber used were 16, 34 and 40 μm for cotton, crimped polyester and wool fibers, respectively, and the shading fraction of fiber lining for a given amount of lining per unit area increased with a decrease in fiber diameter. The shading fraction of fiber lining increased with the surface area of the lining, calculated using the fiber diameter, and was independent of the kind of lining material used. The shading fraction correlated with the surface area of the fiber lining. Down is an excellent material for retaining heat in lined clothes because of the large shading fraction of radiant heat transfer due to its large surface area consisting of stalks and small fibers, and its relatively large lining thickness per unit amount, which results in a small conductive heat transfer rate.

Elliptical ring subjected to arbitrary load has not been studied until now, although the solution for circular ring is easy to obtain. The analysis of elliptical ring enclosed by conforcal two elliptical boundaries is much complicated. In this paper, the general solutions of isotropic elliptical ring for stresses and displacements are obtained by the method of Laurent series expansion of complex stress functions and some numerical examples are shown. The accuracy and the rate of convergence of the present method are then discussed based on these solutions.

The phosphorus content of the drug was reported in the United States, and attention was paid to pharmaceutical additives. However, papers surveying the phosphorus content of drugs in Japan have not been reported. We calculated the phosphorous content in dibasic calcium phosphate hydrate (DCPH) or dibasic calcium phosphate (DCP) in amlodipine (AML) and compared the phosphorus content for each formulation. DCPH or DCP was found in all the 104 AML tablets and in 15 of the 78 AML OD tablets. On request, the pharmaceutical company revealed the amounts of DCPH or DCP in 78 of the 104 AML tablets (75.0%) and 9 of the 15 AML OD tablets (60%). The phosphorus content in AML tablets varied among the pharmaceutical companies and it tended to increase with an increase in dose. On the other hand, 63 of the 78 AML OD tablets did not contain DCPH or DCP. Furthermore, the phosphorus content in 9 of the 15 AML OD tablets containing DCPH or DCP was lower than that in AML tablets. Therefore, unnecessary phosphorus load can be avoided in dialysis patients by opting for AML OD tablets rather than AML tablets or opting for low phosphorus content AML tablets.

ウツボ科ウツボ属魚類オキナワノコギリウツボGymnothorax elegansが沖縄県の石垣島近海から採集された. 本種はこれまで日本からは, Randall et al. (1997) が小笠原近海から日本初記録として学名と写真を報告, また, 波戸岡 (2000) が沖縄本島近海から尾部が欠損した不完全個体について報告しているが, 詳細な記載はなされなかった. 本研究では新標本に基づき, 形態および体色の記載を行った.

近年,超高齢社会の到来によるパーキンソン病(Parkinson’s disease: PD)患者の増加が社会問題となっており,その発症メカニズムの研究も進んでいる.PDに見られる進行性の神経変性は,線維型αシヌクレインの脳内伝播に関連していると考えられている.αシヌクレインはシナプスの機能制御や神経の可塑性に関与すると推定されているが,凝集により神経毒性を発揮する.そのため,細胞外のαシヌクレインを除去することは,その伝播や凝集を抑制するための有力な方法となる可能性がある.本トピックスでは,最近報告されたアストロサイトによるαシヌクレインの新たな細胞内取込み制御と,その伝播との関連について紹介する.なお,本稿は下記の文献に基づいて,その研究成果を紹介するものである.1) Filippini A. et al., Glia, 69, 681-696(2021).2) Lindstrom V. et al., Mol. There are some difficulties in the notion of sets, in particular, infinite sets. Among the most serious difficulties is the question about how we can make a general statement about an infinite set. Because there are infinitely many members, we can not do it by checking all the members of it. Carnap distinguished two kinds of generalities, one of which is what he called 'numerical generality', and the other 'specific generality'. The former is a property which all the members of a set actually have in common, while the latter is one which can be deduced logically from some general property of a set. He contended that a general property of an infinite set must be specific generality. So, he concluded, the general statement about an infinite set is nothing but a statement logically deduced from some statement which is already known to be true for the set. It is immediately clear that his explanation is not sufficient, for it is difficult to determine what property is specifically general. Moreover, since specific generality is something deduced from another generality, there must be, in the first place, at least one generality known to us which is neither numerical nor specific. Another question will arise. How can we know a set to be infinite. Illustrating this, I refer to three examples. They are infinite sets given by Dedekind, Zermelo, and Peano. I show that they have a common structure, namely the structure of recursiveness. We can construe these sets as sets of objects which are produced by an endless and recursive procedure. It is this recursive and endless procedure that enable us to reach the notion of infinity. These things considered, I conclude that as regards infinite sets, there is a generality which I shall call 'conventional generality' given by rules. And this means that infinite sets are artificial, consequently not real objects, in some sense.

梅雨前線、秋雨前線や台風などによる集中豪雨がしばしば発生し、大きな被害をもたらすことがある。局地的な集中豪雨は、気象観測所の配置距離に比して狭いことが多いので、その原因の究明は困難である。1990年の台風20号によって引き起こされた宮崎市近郊の集中豪雨は、非常にせまい範囲に起こった一例である。台風と秋雨前線の境目に、太平洋上の湿った空気が流れ込み、前線北側の冷たい空気がその上に流れ込んだために不安定が起こり、地形的な小撹乱によって大きな上下の撹乱に発展し、集中豪雨を引き起こしたものと考えられる。この過程を、ひまわり映像、レーダーイメージ、AMeDASデータ、高層気象観測所のデータなどによって解析した。

症例は6 歳女児.3 歳時に黄疸の精査で遺伝性球状赤血球症(HS)と診断された.4 歳時より半年に1 回位の頻度で右上腹部痛があり,腹部超音波検査では胆泥が確認されていた.6 歳時に腹痛が頻回となり,黄疸の増強と画像検査にて脾腫と総胆管内の胆泥貯留を認め,当院に紹介入院となった.内視鏡的経鼻胆道ドレナージ・乳頭括約筋切開術により胆泥はドレナージされたものの黄疸は持続した.その後,腹腔鏡下脾臓・胆囊摘出術を施行.術後腹腔内出血を生じ,経カテーテル的動脈塞栓術を行ったが完全な止血は得られず,開腹止血術を行った.その際血液凝固能の著明な低下を認めた.止血術後,黄疸は漸減したが遷延した.精査にてビリルビンUDP-グルクロン酸転移酵素(UGT1A1)の遺伝子変異を認め,体質性黄疸の合併と診断した.HS で幼少期に胆泥・胆石や遷延性黄疸を生じる症例では,体質性黄疸を合併している可能性があると考えられた.

本稿は、スポーツにおけるコーチングを指導者―選手間のコミュニケーションとして捉え、それがいかなる相互行為によって達成されているのかを提示するものである。それによってスポーツコーチングがスポーツ社会学にとっての重要な研究課題であることを示す。まず、日本のコーチング研究においてコーチングがどのように理解されているかを明らかにした。コーチングとは指導者と選手の「主観のチャンネル」を合わせること、との指摘があったもののその具体的内容は明らかになっていなかった。またテキストの検討からは「指導の方法」とされていることの多くが、「指導の種類、メニュー」の提示であり、具体的な指導手順の説明がないことが判明した。 次に社会学におけるエスノメソドロジー研究に基づくスポーツコーチング研究について検討を行った。指導は(1)コーチによる修正の開始、(2)間違いの提示、(3)解決策の提案という連鎖として提示されていた。特に、指導者による「失敗の再現」は、選手に何が失敗だったかの理解を作り上げる点で重要である。また、「ボールに関連したカテゴリー」やコートの空間的分割によって、選手の身体の相対的位置が規範的に決定されることが、指導者と選手双方の理解の資源となるという。 最後に、日本における大学フットサル部の練習についてその録画データの検討を行った。日本のスポーツコーチングにおいても、エスノメソドロジー的研究の結果と同様の相互行為の連鎖が析出された。これらのことから、スポーツコーチングのある場面においては、修正の開始、間違いの提示、解決策の提案という連鎖が基礎的な手順であることが確認できた。そしてこの手順が、練習あるいは指導において、指導者にとっても選手にとっても共通に理解可能で合理的なものとして秩序づけられ、利用されていることを明らかにした。
