本稿は日本の精神医療改革の新たな理念となる「地域移行」を,M. セールのエクスティテューションextitutionという施設/制度の対置概念を用いて,病院施設/医療制度の「内」と「外」を組み合わせて考察するものである.「地域移行」とは,長期在院者が相談員などの病院外の制度に帰属する者と共に,「閉鎖性」の病棟から「開放性」の病棟,病院近隣,前住地へと向かう多元的なプロセスであり,長期在院者は外の日常世界に慣れることでトラウマを軽減させ,人間としての尊厳を回復させている.ただし,「地域移行」は実際のところ行きつ戻りつの進捗で,国が想定する支援期間よりも時日を要するものであった.「地域移行」に参与する相談員の不足,基礎自治体ごとに異なる対応に加え,精神科病院の偏在とそれを活用した「転院システム」が存在する東京都では,長期在院者や相談員らの努力と偶有的な状況に依拠することで「地域移行」の実現が可能となっている.

本稿は,多様性研究における従業員の創造性喚起という問題について,近年注目されているインクルージョン風土(CI)をとりあげて個人の創造性への影響メカニズムを知覚された組織的支援(POS)の観点から検討した.日本企業の正規従業員を対象とした質問票調査のデータを用いて分析した結果,CIの影響はPOSを媒介して個人の創造性へと結びつくことが確認された.この知見は,個人の創造性喚起に有益な示唆を提供する.

A nine-year-old, castrated male mixed-breed dog presented with a three-month history of sneezing and stertorous breathing. Computed tomography revealed a soft tissue mass in the left nasal cavity with lysis of the cribriform plate. The mass was diagnosed as intranasal sarcoma based on histopathological analysis. The tumor cells were immunohistochemically positive for KIT and platelet-derived growth factor receptor α/β and negative for vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 and cyclooxygenase-2. Treatment with toceranib phosphate (TOC) and firocoxib reduced the tumor size, which was defined as partial response (PR). After PR induction, TOC alone mediated survival for 205 days. This case report suggests that the combination of TOC and possibly firocoxib may be a therapeutic option for canine intranasal sarcoma.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between physical fitness, life style, and health-status using cross sectional data in adolescent male students. A total of 581 males aged 15 to 20 years were selected as subjects for this study. The physique tests (6 items) and new physical fitness tests developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports Science, and Technology of Japan (9 items) were used. To assess life style and health-status, a questionnaire consisting of 75 items was constructed. Principal component analysis was applied to the partial correlation matrix, neglecting the age-effect, consisting of 9 physical fitness variables. Cramer's association coefficient and theory of quantification I were used to examine the relationship between life style, health-status and physical fitness. Cramer's association coefficients were significant for 12 variables of exercise habit, 8 variables of meal habit, 2 variables of other life style, and 4 variables of health-status. The multiple correlation coefficient between physical fitness, life style, and health-status was moderate (0.500, p < 0.01). Partial correlation coefficients were high for variables of present exercise-frequency, exercise-frequency and picky eating during junior high school days, and television-reception hour. Exercise frequency of more than three or four days a week, taking meals, and television-reception hour might be related to the maintaining or increasing the physical fitness level in adolescent male students.

We investigated temporal changes in the peak frequency of harmonic tremors accompanied by eruptions at the Showa crater of the Sakurajima volcano from January 1 to September 30, 2015. The peak frequency characteristics of harmonic tremors at the summit crater of Minamidake from 1982 to 2002 were also compared. We calculated the running spectrum of the harmonic tremors of eruptions at the Showa crater and detected their peak frequency based on the findings of Maryanto et al. (2008) by modifying the parameters. Based on the value of peak frequency and associated temporal changes, we classified harmonic tremors at the Showa crater into the following three types: nearly constant (NC), positive gliding (PG), negative gliding (NG), and others. A sharp transition, with abrupt peak frequency of the harmonic tremor changes over a brief period, was also observed at the Showa crater. Assuming that the fundamental frequency corresponds to changes in the length of the gas pocket, the length of the gas pocket was estimated to change from 110 m to 220 m at the Showa crater. Compared with the features of peak frequencies of harmonic tremors at the summit crater of Minamidake (Maryanto et al., 2008), those at the Showa crater present three differences: 1) Compared with HTB of the summit crater of Minamidake (Maryanto et al., 2008), Depending on the event, NC values had different frequency bands at the Showa crater. HTBs occur several hours after swarms of B-type earthquakes and their peak frequencies remained within a certain range (Maryanto et al., 2008). 2) The increase in f0 of PG at the Showa crater was smaller than that of HTE at the summit crater of Minamidake. HTEs occur several minutes after an eruption, as well as accompanying remarkably strong eruptions and their peak frequencies showed a gradual increase (Maryanto et al., 2008). 3) NG and sharp transitions were only recognized in harmonic tremors during volcanic activity at the Showa crater.

In this work, we demonstrated that cathodal direct current stimulation to the tongue inhibits salty and umami perception and investigated the relationship between magnitude of current and the effect size of the taste suppression. The acknowledgement from our work would contribute to the virtual reality and human health fields e.g., any tastes can be presented to human virtually and tastes modification would assist the diet.

森林のCO2固定量については, 面積あたり固定量を原単位とした算定方法が明らかとされているが, 街路樹など森林形状を有しない都市緑化樹木によるCO2固定量の算定には, 樹木1本あたりの原単位の設定が必要と考えられる。本研究では, 原単位となる年間木質部乾重成長量の算定式を得るため, 都市緑化に多用される6樹種, 30本を対象に, 樹幹解析により成長過程を明らかにした。その結果, 樹高, 胸高直径と木質部乾燥重量には密接な関係があり, 回帰曲線が得られた。また, 樹高, 胸高直径と樹齢とは直線による回帰が可能であり, 両者の関係から, 特定の大きさの樹木1本の年間木質部乾重成長量を推定する式を作成した。この式からは, 各樹種の多様な大きさに対応した年間木質部乾重成長量が得られる。算定式の構造は次のとおりである。Y= a{(X+c)b-Xb} ; Y: 年間木質部乾重成長量(kg/y), X: 樹高(m) または胸高直径(cm), a, bおよびc: 樹種毎の定数

Many experimental theatre troupes, known as Angura (underground or avant-garde theatre), emerged in the middle of the 1960s, a theatrical movement that rapidly gained influence from 1966 to 1970. Today, Angura is regarded as an important movement in Japan, but research on it remains insufficient. What was the theatrical movement Angura?Engeki Centre 68/71 is considered to be the most political theatre troupe of the Angura movement. The Dance of Angels Who Burn Their Own Wings was written by four playwrights of the Centre in 1970. This play deals with the French Revolution to express the Centre's idea of revolution. Angura is concerned simply with a counter culture or political movement; as most of Angura's artists participated in a campus activism and their plays were often radical. The characters in this play are unable to achieve a revolution. However, this failure of a revolution does not suggest the limit of Angura; rather, it prevents the revolution from falling into self-contradiction. Through analyzing the text, it could be said that The Dance of Angels Who Burn Their Own Wings represents the Centre's struggle to avoid getting into such a simple revolutionary movement.

血液・体液曝露の内,眼への曝露は,感染のリスクからは針刺し事例に匹敵することから,眼および眼周辺部への曝露に着目して,医科と歯科の統合後の当大学病院の2年半における,曝露者の職種,曝露物,曝露時の場所について検索した.   その結果,統合後の当大学病院では,血液・体液曝露事例は,全部で67件発生していた.そのうち,眼および眼周辺部への曝露事例は41件発生したが,職種では,看護師19名,医師9名,医学生4名,助産師3名,歯科医師2名,臨床工学技士2名の順であった.曝露物では,血液14件,体液7件,喀痰4件,注射液2件等であった.曝露場所では,手術室14件,一般病室10件,ICU4件,救急部3件,人工透析室3件,分娩室2件,採血室2件,歯科外来2件等であった.特に出産関係でまとめると,6件と多かった.また,曝露事例の総数は67件であったが,その内,眼および眼周辺部への曝露事例は41件であり,全体の61.2%を占めていた.当大学病院の調査結果から,手術室での眼および眼周辺部への曝露が最も多かったことから,手術室のスタッフはゴーグルの着用が必須であることが判明した.

柑橘に関する従来の地理学研究では,生産や流通に関する研究の蓄積がみられるが,需要の実態についての研究が少ない。本研究では,全国有数の柑橘生産額であった和歌山県と,全国有数の人口規模であった和歌山市街を事例に,近世後期から明治前期の柑橘需要を検討した。近世中期の主力の柑橘品種は小蜜柑であり,歳暮や正月飾りとして利用された。近世後期には品種数が大幅に増加し,贈答品や装飾品,子どもの菓子代わりとして需要が拡大した。また,近世後期には今日の温州に相当する品種も登場したが,無核のため縁起の観点から好まれなかった。明治前期,柑橘の商品流通の機会が増加する中で,温州が日常的な嗜好品として注目され始めた。つまり,供物や贈答品から日常的な嗜好品への柑橘需要の変化が,今日の温州の生食による大量消費の端緒と位置づけられる。和歌山の事例を通じて,近世後期から明治前期にかけての嗜好品需要の変化の一端を明らかにした。
