2011年3月11日の東北地方太平洋沖地震において仙台市内の丘陵地に造成された住宅地で地盤被災が数多く発生した.さらに 2016年4月14日の熊本地震でも盛土の造成宅地に多くの被害が生じている.これら造成宅地の地震被害は,急傾斜地だけではなく緩やかな基盤や地盤構造の造成宅地でも数多く発生している.しかし,住宅地の購入者がこれらを検討・確認することはほとんどなく,地震被害を受けて初めて基盤・地盤情報の重要性を意識することが一般的である.そこで本研究は,東北地方太平洋沖地震において仙台市内で基盤・地盤構造の違いにより造成宅地の建物損壊度が異なることを地理情報システム(Geographic Information System : GIS)により示し,建物の建築年代や宅地造成前の基盤・地盤特性情報の重要性を示している.次に,地震リスクマネージメントや地震被害想定では被害の発生予測精度が重要であるため,兵庫県南部地震における水道管の損傷調査結果より地盤性状による地震時の損傷度曲線(Seismic Fragility Curve : SFC)を求めている.さらに,仙台地域における造成宅地の地震被災リスクを定量的に算出し,造成宅地おける地震リスクを考慮した評価法の基礎考察も行っている.

Peutz-Jeghers症候群は,食道を除く全消化管の過誤腫性ポリポーシスと皮膚・粘膜の色素斑を特徴とする希少疾患である.STK11遺伝子の生殖細胞系列の病的バリアントを原因とし,常染色体優性遺伝形式をとる.また,がん遺伝子パネル検査によって診断される可能性がある. 本症候群でみられる過誤腫性ポリープは小腸に好発し,ポリープが大きくなると出血,腸閉塞,腸重積の原因となる.初回の消化管サーベイランスは症状がなくても8歳頃を目安に行い,10〜15mm以上の小腸ポリープは内視鏡的ポリープ切除術を行う.消化管,乳房,膵,子宮,卵巣,肺,精巣などに悪性腫瘍の発生が認められ,適切なサーベイランスが必要である. 本診療ガイドラインでは,小児から成人にかけてシームレスに,正確な診断と適切な治療・サーベイランスが行われるよう, 基本的事項を解説し,4個のクリニカルクエスチョンと推奨を作成した.

A preliminary survey on the distribution of temperature, bottom topography and ichthyofauna on the New Year Bank in the Solomon Sea, about 45 nautical miles to the south of Guadalcanal, was carried out by the training ship "Kakuyo-maru" of the Faculty of Fisheries, Nagasaki University, on November 5th to 8th, 1978. The following results were obtained. 1) Along the east and south margins of the bank, a thermoline was observed between the layers 200m and 300m below the surface. 2) The bottom topography on the bank was very rugged, especially in the central part where the difference in altitude of ups and downs was as big as 23m. 3) A number of echos of fish schools were recorded on the bank. They were especially dense and numerous just above the tops of ups in the southern half of the bank. 4) A total of 30 fish species belonging to 14 families were caught by hand-line fishing. Groupers, pigfaces, and snappers were commercially important fishes among them.

Several works have been reported of the concentration of oleyl oleate from sperm oil. But the oleate oleyl concentrated from sperm oil is so unstable due to the presence of highly unsaturated components that the application of oleyl oleate is limited. It is therefore, necessary to reduce these highly unsaturated components in the oleyl oleate concentrate. The authors attempted to decrease the amounts of polyunsaturated components in sperm body oil by two procedures. The one was to thermally polymerize sperm oil in the presence of active earth, and the other was to hydrogenate the oil selectively with Cu-Cr catalyst under atmospheric pressure. The oleyl oleate was concentrated from thus treated sperm body oils and untreated oil through molecular distillation and fractional crystallization. A.O.M. stabilities of these oleyl oleate concentrates were determined according to the A.O.C.S. analytical method. The oleyl oleate concentrate obtained from thermally polymerized sperm body oil was most stable, while the oleyl oleate from untreated sperm oil was unstable most.

I will describe the future direction of electron crystallography, by focusing on how electron beams contribute uniquely for atomic structure determinations. Both for electron diffraction and microscopy, the key lies on how we make the best use of dynamical scattering effects, which are significant for electrons compared with other probes including X-ray.

This paper aims to examine general argument for television critically, and to discuss what television should be from the television producers' viewpoint.In general, television is argued on the assumption that television producers are wrongdoer. So the gap of producers between audiences spread, and the arguments for television is be a barren discussion. But producers become aware of wrongdoing and they feel regret that audiences misunderstand producers. Therefore, we need to fill in a gap of producers between audiences with arguing television form the producers viewpoint.So, I try to examine what should be television from the producers viewpoint with interpreting producers discourse in this paper. And I try to point out that producers want to communicate audiences strongly.

自己免疫性肝炎(AIH)の疾患概念が定着してきていて,最近の全国調査では高齢化,軽症例や急性肝不全症例が報告され,非典型例が増えている.また,急性肝炎例やIgG4関連AIHなどの新しい病態や病型も報告され,診療,研究に新しい話題が提供されている.発症機構は依然不明であるが,免疫学的解析と遺伝子解析が進んでいる.診断方法や治療法については大きな進歩がなく,今後,疾患特異的な治療法の開発が待たれる.

The density of invasive alien mongooses on Amami-oshima Island has recently been controlled to a low level by trapping. Aiming for eradication, three dogs were specially trained to detect the location of the animals to improve the efficiency of trapping. The detection efficiency of the dogs was higher than the efficiency of sensor cameras and pipe-type kill traps in each area, which had different mongoose densities. It was also significantly higher in high density areas (p<0.05) and higher than those methods plus hair traps in lower density areas. Dogs could also contribute to capture by handlers. The capture rates of the dog handlers were lower than those of the pipe traps in higher densities areas. However, a mongoose was caught by a dog handler in an area where none had been caught in the past five years. It was revealed that detection dogs are a sensitive means that have the potential for capture by the handler. While it takes a few years to train a detection dog. The area that one pair of a detection dog and a handler could scan thoroughly in a year was estimated at 16-28 km^2. The utilization of detection dogs preferentially in extremely low density areas is considered to be efficient.

千葉県香取郡山田町では, バイオマス利活用推進の気運が高まりつつある。本報では, 自治体の戦略, 地元に密接した農事組合法人和郷園や農業工学研究所の視点や関わり方を紹介した。町は, 農林水産省のプロジェクト研究「農林水産バイオリサイクル」におけるバイオマス多段階利用実証研究の舞台となった。町は, 実証研究の企画段階から参画し, バイオマス利用推進協議会を立ち上げ, バイオマス利活用計画策定に役立てようとしている。こうした山田町における取組みは, 農業をより魅力的なものにし, 地域資源を保全し, 環境を守り, 新たな人の交流をもたらそうとしている。縁ができた研究機関やマスコミは, 応援団になりたいと考えている。

本研究では,重度要介護者を対象としたベッド上,ベッド周囲,居室内での動作および移動能力を定量的に評価する指標を開発し,その信頼性と妥当性を検証した。内容妥当性を満たした10項目からなるBedside Mobility Scale(BMS)を作成し,在宅にて理学療法士または作業療法士の訪問によるリハビリテーションを実施している163名(男性83名,女性80名,平均年齢76.4歳)を対象として,BMSによる動作・移動能力評価を行った。分析の結果,BMSには高い検者内および検者間信頼性が得られた。また,BMSは日常生活活動能力や日常生活自立度と有意な関連を持ち,特に重度要介護者および日常生活自立度の重度低下者の動作能力評価に適しており,臨床的意義が高いと考えられた。

加齢に伴う小腸粘膜形態の変化に対する六君子湯, 補中益気湯, 人参養栄湯, 半夏瀉心湯の影響を検討した。その結果, 36週齢ラットの小腸粘膜の変化には六君子湯, 補中益気湯のような補気健脾剤が有効で, 特に絨毛と微絨毛の吸収面積の改善には濃度依存性が認められた。ところが, 50週齢. 70週齢のより高齢のマウスに対しては人参養栄湯のような気血双補剤が有効で, 小腸の形態及び吸収機能が著明に改善されることが明らかになった。
