The confidentiality system concerning the physical protection of nuclear materials and nuclear facilities was enacted by revision of the Nuclear Reactor Regulation Law in 2005. We made a comparative analysis with the information security in governmental agencies or financial sectors, in order to consider the way the sensitive information management concerning the physical protection of nuclear materials and nuclear facilities should be. The considerations in this paper are as follows. (1) In order to secure a suitable level of security, close cooperation should be achieved among related governmental agencies. (2) A cycle that continuously evaluates whether suitable management is performed should be established. (3) Excessive secretiveness should be eliminated. (4) An information-sharing system among the related persons beyond the frame of governmental agencies and electricity companies should be established. (5) Improvement in the social acceptability of the sensitive information management is important. (6) Although it is important to perform evaluation by the consideration of suitable balance with information disclosure, it is also important that it is positively shown to society.

Objective: Incidents, such as disturbance of consciousness due to adverse reactions of medications during automobile driving, could cause a serious accident.  Although automobile driving is indicated to be “prohibited” in the package inserts of many drugs, no explicit guidelines are available in Japan on specific guidance to patients.  Therefore, we attempted to prepare guidelines for medication guidance regarding automobile driving.Methods: We investigated the number of incidents involving traffic accidents and the disturbance of consciousness cases reported in “Japanese Adverse Drug Event Report” database by “Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA).”  We also analyzed descriptions regarding automobile driving found in package inserts and guidelines to determine a risk level for each medication.Results: Guidelines for medication guidance were prepared based on four-level classification of drugs for which “prohibition” of automobile driving was indicated in their package inserts; these levels are “conform to pertinent guidelines,” “strictly prohibited,” “prohibited,” and “conditionally prohibited.”  The contents of the guidance prepared for some drugs were different from their package inserts.Conclusions: The guidelines prepared in this study can be expected to become a support tool to ensure close attention to cautions regarding automobile driving.  Because some contents of the guidance are different from that described in the package inserts, it is desirable to obtain agreement with physicians in hospitals adopting these guidelines.  In addition, guidelines based on a broader range of information should be prepared in the future.

China has made a series of cultural policies after 2000 as a result of the ever-increasing popularity of overseas cartoons in order to boost domestic cultural industrialization development. Therefore, revitalizing domestic cartoon industry has become national culture strategy. The dissertation, through real cases, analyses the decisionmaking process of The Central Committee of the Communist Party, State Council and the Ministry of Culture. It is found out that the cartoon policies are subject to the Chinese political authority mechanism and they are closely related to each other. The dissertation points out that the Chinese authority mechanism not only stabilizes the release of cartoon policy but also limits it.

企業活動が技術革新により特許権に大きく依存していることから,企業が意思決定を行うに際して,特許権の個別的な実情を知ることが必要である。そのために,訴訟情報は欠かすことができない。日本の特許/知財訴訟情報の本体は,紙媒体上に存在する。その情報は,判決言渡しがない訴訟であっても,裁判の公開性の原則にしたがって,国民に公開されている。この訴訟情報を得るために訴訟番号と当事者名と管轄裁判所の担当部とを知る必要があるが,これらは,開廷された訴訟の情報を電子化してインターネット上にある「知財提訴データベース」から知ることができる。米国の特許訴訟に関する情報は,全てが,電子化されて公開されている。「米国訴訟日報」では,特許訴訟の管轄裁判所90カ所以上から,ほとんどの場合,提訴の翌日には,訴状など訴訟の内容を知る手がかりが得られ,裁判記録も,電子ファイルとしてインターネット上のデータベースから得られる。

高線量の放射線被ばくによって生体が受ける障害を軽減・治療するための生物学的機構を介する放射線防護剤の有望な候補として、既存の医薬品を凌ぐ活性を有する新規シグナル分子(細胞機能を調節する生理活性タンパク質)「FGFC」(fibroblast growth factor chimeric protein)を開発した。今後、放射線関連機関に備蓄する放射線防護剤として採用される可能性のある、このタンパク質を医薬開発するための環境整備を、基礎研究機関において可能な限り高いレベルで進めることを目指している。

代表者の今中は以前よりチェルノブイリ原発事故の調査を行ってきた。福島原発事故の長期的問題を考えるため、広島・長崎原爆被害やセミパラチンスク核実験被害の調査を行っている川野徳幸、マーシャル諸島での核実験被害調査を行っている竹峰誠一郎らとともに、原子力開発がはじまって以来世界中で発生した様々な核災害の後始末について調査を行った。核災害は、放射線被曝や放射能汚染といった問題にとどまらず、社会的に幅広い被害をもたらしており、その多くは災害が起きてから50年以上たっても解決されないことが示された。得られた成果は2017年11月12日に東京で開催した報告会で発表し、12編の報告を含むレポートにまとめた。

尺八には様々な流派があり, 尺八譜に用いられる譜字やその運指法/奏法は, 流派毎に異なっている. 筆者らは尺八譜の情報処理システムの研究を行っているが, このような違いがデータの共有化やシステム開発の効率化の妨げとなっていた. この問題を解決するために, 昨年度, 尺八譜のための標準データ形式C0MS0を提案した. 今回, C0MS0を内部コードとして用いることにより, 開発中の尺八譜情報処理システムを複数流派への拡張が容易に行えるようになったので報告する.

Dogura Magura (Going Around in Circles) is a long fiction written by Yumeno Kyusaku. It is an eccentric story told by a mental patient, dealing with the fearful figure of the modern civilization and what is the true nature of humanity. Dogura Magura begins with a man (the narrator) who waked to find himself in a small room of a mental hospital. He has lost his memory. A man called Dr. Wakabayashi takes him to an office, where the doctor shows him many things including a story entitled Dogura Magura and Dr. Masaki's testament. Dr. Masaki is a genius scientist who presented a new theory of psychology named Sinri iden (psychological heredity). The outline of this theory is given in his testament. He asserted that human embryos dream about their ancestors' experience in the womb, and that mental disease comes from this memory. I don't think that Kyusaku believed in the theory he had created in the novel, but the reader can grasp the depth of human psyche through this theory. The composition of this novel is remarkably complicated, which also convey Kyusaku's message. The narrator of Dogura Magura finds a story entitled Dogura Magura in the novel. Dogura Magura has confusions of timeline. The reader can recognize the mystery of human psyche through the experience of such dizziness.

ノートやメモなど自分が書いたものを後から見直すとき,作成時に利用した資料がすぐに参照できると,書かれた内容をより発展的に利用できると考えられる.また,他人のノートについても同様のことができると,お互いに相手が何をどう考えてきたかが分かりやすくなり,協調的な学習支援につながるであろう.そのような相互参照の履歴を活用する「相互リンク機能」を備えた協調学習支援ノートシステム「ReCoNote」を製作,実際に大学の授業で使用し,評価した.あるグループでは話し合いなどを進める前に,各自がお互いのノートどうしにリンクを作成して関連付けを行っていた.その相互リンクをみんなで活用して,お互いに考えたことをグループで共有しながら話し合いが進められ,質の高い教え合いが起きていた. ReCoNoteの活用により全体としてさまざまなノートや資料にリンクが結ばれ,協調的な学習が進んだと考えられる.

天日干しと熱風乾燥の乾燥手法の差異が品質に及ぼす影響を検討した。官能検査では,総合,味および硬さの3項目において,天日干しは熱風乾燥と比べ,有意に優れることが評価された。炊飯品質では,天日干しは熱風乾燥より,食味スコア等の5項目において品質指標が向上する傾向を示した。糊化特性は,天日干しは熱風乾燥と比べて,糊化開始温度が低く,最高粘度は高かった。電子顕微鏡では明確な差の断定には至らなかったが,天日干しと熱風乾燥の澱粉粒の形状の違いが膨潤性に影響している可能性が考えられた。これらのことから,本条件下では,天日干しは熱風乾燥を上回る米の品質を具備している可能性が示唆され,米本来のおいしさを損なわない乾燥処理に起因すると推察した。

音楽情報処理システムは, 対象を西洋音楽に限れば, 五線譜に基づく自動読取りやその他の入力方式・装置が数多く開発・製品化されており, 特にデスクトップミュージックと呼ばれるソフトウェアの普及により, 作曲・演奏, 楽譜の作成・印刷などが効率的に行えるようになった.しかし, 日本の伝統音楽をはじめ諸民族の音楽の多くは, 五線譜とは表現方法の異なる各楽器特有の記譜法が用いられており, それらに対応できるシステムが必要である.ところが, これまでこの研究・開発例は少ない.このような状況を改善するために, 尺八楽譜の情報処理システムに関する研究を行った.本システムは, 手書きによる入力編集機能, 伝統音楽に特有な様々な流派の異なる楽譜間の相互変換機能, 演奏方法の表示を伴った発音機能等, 尺八楽譜情報の処理に有用な様々な機能を備えたマルチメディアシステムとなっている.また, 本研究においては, 計算機処理を可能とするために, 尺八楽譜のデータ表現方式を新たに考案した.本システムにより尺八楽譜作成の効率が向上するばかりでなく, 西洋楽器との合奏用楽譜作成支援ツールや, 初心者の尺八の独習用ツールとしての有効性も期待できる.
