53歳タイ在住日本人男性.前立腺癌に対し当院泌尿器科でフォローされていたが,PSA上昇傾向あり,2015年6月に病勢評価目的の前立腺生検を企画され,入院2日前に帰国した.入院前日に術前検査として血液検査を施行したところ,CK 13,631IU/Lと異常高値が判明した.翌日の再検査ではCK 29,836IU/Lと更に上昇を認め,血清ミオグロビン 3,289.0ng/mL,尿中ミオグロビン 26,000ng/mL,CKアイソザイムはMM型が100%であった.後の問診により,帰国後入院するまでの2日間に公共温泉施設で電気風呂に入浴していたことが判明した.製造業者の推奨する電気風呂の入浴方法は「3分以内,1日2,3回」とされているところ,本症例は入院2日前に30分,1日前に60分と想定を遥かに超える長時間の入浴を行っていた.経過中腎機能障害は認めず,予定通り生検を施行した上で安静及び補液にて経過観察とし,CK値は入院2日目の42,355IU/Lをピークに改善傾向となり,入院5日目に5,979IU/Lまで低下を確認したところで退院となった.医中誌Webにおいて「電気風呂」の検索結果はわずか3件で,うち2件がCK上昇に関するもの,うち1件は電気風呂により植込み型除細動器が誤作動したという報告であった.過去の報告では入浴時間が長いほどCKの上昇を認めた.長時間の電気風呂の入浴は横紋筋融解症を来し,重篤な結果に至る可能性も懸念されることから,適正な入浴時間の啓発が必要である.

In this paper, we used an optimal power generation mix (OPGM) model, as well as meteorological data from 2000 to 2017, to assess the cost of achieving 100% renewable electricity mix in 2050 in Japan. Although the potentials of variable renewable energies, such as wind and solar PV, have been estimated to be large in Japan, grid-related system costs become significant in the cases with very high shares of variable renewables. Particularly, two factors affect the overall costs: The cumulative installed capacity of offshore-wind power, and the required capacity of electricity storage systems. The former is dependent on the curtailment ratio of onshore-wind and solar PV, whereas the latter is determined by the short-time “windless and sunless” factor, i.e. the maximum number of successive days with very small wind and solar power output. The analyses presented in this study highlight the necessity of using long-term meteorological data when estimating the economics of high penetration of variable renewables, as well as the importance of considering the risk of power supply disruption.

Mating behavior and early development of Cobitis sp. (BIWAE type D, TosaShima-dojo) were observed in the laboratory by inducing spawning of females with human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). Subsequently, laboratory bred individuals were compared with spawned eggs and larvae obtained from the field. Mature adults, naturally spawned eggs, and larvae were collected from a river in eastern Kochi Prefecture, Shikoku Island, Japan, and a natural spawning ground adjacent to the river. Mating behavior was observed 15 times at night, and distinguished into four stages: phase 1, tracking; phase 2, approaching; phase 3, amplexus; and phase 4, spawning. Egg diameters after water absorption were 2.1–2.3 mm, the spherical, demersal eggs having a light-yellow yolk, no oil droplets, and slight viscosity. Newly hatched larvae [3.3–4.9 mm in total length (TL)] had 46 (32 + 14) myomeres, two pairs of outer gill filaments on the cheek, and melanophores on the head. Notochord flexion started at 6.0–7.2 mm TL (wild individuals at 6.0–6.3 mm TL) and was completed at 8.8 mm TL (6.6 mm TL). The formation of membranous fins and full fin-ray complements were attained in the fin order pectoral, caudal, dorsal, anal, and pelvic, and caudal, dorsal, anal, pectoral, and pelvic, respectively. Some individuals (7.0–8.0 mm TL at the flexion stage) had free neuromasts, each with a short cupula, laterally on the caudal region. In addition, following the postflexion stage, some morphological differences between artificially bred and wild individuals were observed but could not be quantified due to the small sample size.

本研究は,東京を中心に広域な生産システムを構築している丸編ニット製衣服産業を対象に,情報伝達および関係性にもとづくコミュニケーションに着目して,企業間・企業内事業所間の連関構造を解明するとともに,東京における集積がどのような機能を担っているのかについて検討した.その際,生産システム上でオーガナイザー役を担っている東京のニットメーカーを分析の主眼とした.     ニットメーカーは都区内における受注先や,既存の工業集積内における資材購買先・各種加工業者群との間で,その空間的近接性を活かして迅速で円滑な暗黙知の伝達・共有や意思決定を活発に行っており,ファッション化の進展やデザインの高度化,小量生産化,短サイクル化のもとで集積の意義が強められている側面が明らかとなった.地方圏や海外といった遠隔地との間では遠隔通信手段によるコミュニケーションが主であるが,物理的距離,場合によっては心理的距離を隔てての意思疎通を可能にしているのは,ニットメーカーと地方圏・海外の生産拠点との間の長期取引および過去の対面接触の蓄積によって構築された,相互理解でもあることが明らかとなった.こうしたニットメーカーの調整機能は取引費用の削減に貢献しており,生産システムの地理的広域化がなされた現在,これまで以上にその機能が重要になっているといえる.

本稿は,人々が世論調査に回答する際に視覚的情報によってどのような影響を受けるのかという疑問を解明することを試みる。具体的には,順序効果,特に先に提示される選択肢が回答されやすくなるとされる初頭効果が生じる条件を検討し,アイトラッカー(視線測定器)を用いて回答者の視線を観察することを通して検証する。選択肢の提示順序を含む調査回答データとアイトラッカーから得られる視線追跡データの双方を分析した結果,回答者にとって事前知識があり選択肢が対立項目から構成される政党支持の質問においては初頭効果が生じない傾向にあることが明らかになった。一方,一般的に事前知識がなく選択肢がいずれも望ましい合意項目から構成される価値観を測定する質問においては,初頭効果が生じやすいことが確認された。以上の結果は,質問の内容によって順序効果の発生メカニズムが異なるとする本稿の仮説を首肯するものであった。

The purpose of the present study was to clarify the factors involved in deceleration in the last phase of a 100 m sprint by comparing the kinetics of the lower limb joints between the maximal running velocity phase (Max) and the deceleration phase (Dec). Five male collegiate sprinters, running 60 m and 100 m at maximal effort, were videotaped with high-speed cameras (250 fps) and the ground reaction force (1000 Hz) was measured at the 50-m and 85-m points. The kinematics and kinetics of the lower limb joints were then calculated. The results were as follows: 1) The deceleration of running velocity was due to a decrease of stride frequency. 2) In the Dec, braking impulse increased, but propulsion impulse decreased significantly. 3) Significant decreases were found in joint torque and negative power exerted by ankle plantar flexors. 4) Hip negative work exerted by hip joint torque in the late support phase tended to decrease, and it is thought that this decrease affected the delay of hip-flex movement during the early recovery phase. These results reveal that the function of the ankle has a direct influence on deceleration, and suggest that the negative work exerted by hip joint torque during the support phase may help to maintain hip-flex movement during the early recovery phase in the final phase of the 100-m sprint.

ジャガイモはビタミンC (VC)含量が多く,家庭での消費量も多い。そこで広く利用されている市販のポテトチップスとフライドポテトに含まれるVC量を手作りのそれと比較しようと考えた。その結果,総VCおよび還元型ビタミンC(AsA)は,手作りポテトチップスおよびフライドポテトに多く,市販品には少なく,製品によっては手作り品の1/2から1/3程度しか含まれていないものがあった。酸化型VC(DHA)については,手作り品と市販品のフライドポテトの間に大きな差はみられなかった。一方,市販品のポテトチップスのDHAはカルビーポテトチップスとチップスターに多く,手作り品の2〜3倍量認められた。以上の結果から,総VCとAsAは市販品より手作りポテトチップスとフライドポテトに多く,DHAは手作りフライドポテトと市販品の間には大きな差はみられないが,ポテトチップスには市販品に多くみられた。

Snailfishes (Cottoidei: Liparidae) are a large, morphologically diverse group of marine fishes, comprising about 32 genera with over 430 species worldwide. Among them, Osteodiscus Stein, 1978 is primarily distinguished from other genera in having a unique skeletal pelvic disk covered only by thin skin. Three species of the genus are currently known: Osteodiscus cascadiae Stein, 1978 from the eastern North Pacific; Osteodiscus andriashevi Pitruk and Fedorov, 1990 from southern Sea of Okhotsk; and Osteodiscus rhepostomias Stein, 2012 from southeast of New Zealand. During a taxonomic study of snailfishes, a single female specimen of Osteodiscus (150.3 mm in standard length) collected off Iwate in a depth of 1,997–2,108 m, was discovered in the fish collection of the National Museum of Nature and Science, Japan (NSMT). The specimen, characterized by 60 vertebrae (total), 54 dorsal- and 49 anal-fin rays, a horizontal mouth, simple blunt teeth on both jaws, some teeth with lateral cusps on the tip, an unnotched pectoral fin, and the presence of epipleural ribs and a reduced epural, was identified as O. andriashevi, previously known only from the holotype and three paratypes. The present specimen represents the first record of Osteodiscus from Japanese waters and the southernmost record of O. andriashevi. The new standard Japanese names “Hariban-kusauo-zoku” and “Choja-hariban-kusauo” are proposed for the genus and species, respectively. Based on the present specimen, the species diagnosis was partly revised.

テレビジョン放送局を設立するに当り,いかなる規模において開始すべきかはその企業体の資金により色々と相異もあるのは当然であるが,ある程度の将来性も考慮して充分に運用できる程度のものが望ましい。先進国としての米国の例を見ると現在ではネットワークが完備し,小都市の放送局では簡単な施設のものでもキー・ステーションからの番組を貰って聴視者を満足させている。一方キー・ステーションの方も,初期の頃はスタジオでもラジオに使用していたものを改造した程度であったが放送時間が増え,番組内容の充実するに伴いテレビジョン専門の大スタジオを建設するようになった。この経過を見ても判るように僅か数年間におけるテレビジョンの進歩は真に目覚しいものであると同時に現在でも新しい機械が次々と発表され,今後の発展は予想し難いものがある。そのため現在新設されるテレビジョン専門の放送局でもスタジオなどは将来増設を考慮して敷地を広くとってある。ラジオ東京テレビジョンの局舎および施設は現在の段階において放送時間を5時間位とし,ある程度番組をスタジオ内において充分こなせること,将来の増設が可能なることに基本方針を置き旧近衛三連隊跡の5000坪の敷地に現在の局舎を建設した。なお観客参加番組はラジオと共通のが多いこと,および観客動員の都合でなお一層都心に近いことが望まれるのでその目的のためには現在のラジオ東京ホールおよび築地に建設中のラジオテレビスタジオを使用し,マイクロウエーブで赤坂の局舎まで連絡することにした。

胆道閉鎖症初回根治手術時生検肝組織11例、同じく根治手術時摘出肝外胆管3例、肝十二指腸靭帯内リンパ節3例を対象として用いた。対照として地疾患で開腹生検を施行し肝私見切除を要した患児(神経芽細胞腫、小児肝癌等)の肝組織を用いた。まずレオ3型ビールスを培養し、それよりRNAを抽出し、逆転写酵素を用いてcDNAを合成した。次にレオ3型ビールスに特異的なprimerをcomputer解析により決定した。さらにこのprimerを用いてPCR法にて目的とするDNAを増幅し、その特異性を確認し、感受性について検討した。充分な特異性、感受性が得られたことを確認の後、上記方法を用いて本症患児より採取された対象組織につきレオ3型ビールスの検出を試みた。なお対照例についても上記と同様な操作を行なった。Primer1とPrimer2を用いたrepeated PCR法による胆道閉鎖症患児生検肝組織、肝外胆管ならびに肝十二指腸靭帯内リンパ節よりレオ3型ビールスRNA検出の結果は、Table1のごとく目的とする増幅反応物は検出されなかった。まとめると胆道閉鎖症患児の肝、肝外胆管、肝十二指腸靭帯内リンパ節を対象として、PCR法を用いてレオ3型ビールス核酸の検出を行なったが、上記対象いずれにもそれを検出することはできなかった。従って本症の病因としてレオ3型ビールス感染は否定的と思われる。

This paper makes clear differences between the fads in former times and the internet fads mediated by social media today. Then, it points out that various fads or collective effervescences have been triggers of big social changes, or rather the triggers of social formation. Finally, it discusses that in today's world, which can be called as "inter-media" society because multi-layered media including social media are embedded, collective effervescences are easy to be caused.

室町時代は日本の伝統文化の形成された時代であるといわれている。本研究では、さまざまな理由によってこれまで全体像が把握されていなかったこの時代の公家や僧侶の日記を解読し、出版やデータベースの作成によって、その全文紹介を進めた。また日記に登場する人物について研究し、室町文化の形成を考える上で不可欠な人物データベースを作成した。

日本の文化・生活における「間(ま)」の重要性については、いろんな分野で研究されている。話芸においても、無言・沈黙の時間の「間」が述べられている。今回、落語の「間」を考えるときに、特に意図的に短縮された時間もしくは一切省略された「間合い」が多用されていることに着目し、これを「端折りの間合い」とよび検討を加えた。その「端折りの間合い」を具体例にて3つの類型に分けて提示し、イ.ながれ、ロ.かぶせ、ハ.いきなり、と分類してその演技上の効果について解説を試みた。

『山海経』東山経には"その下箴石多し",『説文解字』にも"〓石をもって病を刺す", 『帝王世紀』には"太昊九針を製し"などの記載文が認められる。中国医学の歴史はその時代の発展状況に応じて,鍼灸医学,漢方医学,気功学も多くの学説が唱えられた。注目すべきことは,何時の時代にしろ,学説,学派の出現が多いほど,学術論争が激しく,また中国医学の発展も加速されていた。今回は学派の地域別,手技別分類を行い,悠久な鍼灸医学発展の歴史を,古代中国文献を参考に明らかにするものである。尚,筆者らはチベット医学,モンゴル医学を調査するために,敦煌の莫高窟を始めとする内陸部にも現地調査を進めるが,これには限界があるため,本文では現在調査中のものを触れずに報告する。

Recently, because of the development of MRI, it is becoming apparent that there are some cases of cerebellar vascular disorder in the posterior cranial fossa among cases of sudden onset of rotatory vertigo. We reported two cases of sudden onset of rotatory vertigo caused by cerebellar infarction in the territory of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) due to cervical occlusive injuries.Case 1. A 48-year-old male sustained a slight whip lash injury and after ten hours, experienced rotatory vertigo and hoarseness. When he came to our hospital, we could only detect hoarseness. However, vascular disorder in the posterior cranial fossa was suggested by the interview. MRI revealed left cerebellar and medulla oblongata infarction.Case 2. A 29-year-old male felt rotatory vertigo and vomited after clicking his neck. Upon closer examination, pure rotatory spontaneous nystagmus, sensory disorder accompanied by sensory dissociation in his face and disability in standing and walking were found, suggesting vascular disorder in the posterior cranial fossa. MRI showed infarction in the left inferior cerebellar region, vermis and left lateral-dorsal medulla oblongata. A dissecting aneurysm in the vertebral artery was found on subsequent angiography.In the Japanese literature, we could find only nine reported cases of cerebellar vascular disorder in the posterior cranial fossa due to the cervical occlusive injuries, in addition to our two cases.The severity of injuries and the period until onset of diagnostic symptoms varied. Therefore, tracing cerebellar vascular disorders due to cervical occlusive injury required not only neurological and neuro-otological findings, but also attention to the history of the original injury and the development of subsequent symptoms. Without a careful interview, it is very difficult to correctly establish the cause of the disorder.

2004~2012年度にかけて,山形県内の臨床的に健康な1~11カ月齢の肥育牛合計1,098頭の鼻汁を採取し,牛肺炎起因菌の分離同定を実施するとともに分離菌株の薬剤感受性を調べた.その結果,Mannheimia haemolytica(Mh)が225頭(20.5%)225株,Pasteurella multocida(Pm)が835頭(76.0%)835株,Mycoplasma bovis(Mb)が412頭(37.5%)412株及びUreaplasma diversum(Ud)が270頭(24.6%)270株,それぞれ分離された.これらの菌種がまったく分離されなかったのは108頭(9.8%)であった.全調査期間を通じ,MhとPmはエンロフロキサシン(ERFX)とフロルフェニコールに高感受性(MIC50; ≦0.031-0.5mg/l,MIC90; ≦0.031-2mg/l)を示した.また,MbとUdはERFXに高感受性(MIC50; 0.2-0.78mg/l,MIC90;0.25-3.13mg/l)を示したが,一部のMbはマクロライド系に対し著しい低感受性(MICレンジ; TS 1-100mg/l≦,TMS 2-128mg/l≦)を示した.

A simplified vector control is proposed as a driving method of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for electrical household appliances. Control structure is simplified by eliminating the speed regulator and the current regulator from the conventional vector controller. Output voltage references are determined by feedforward-like calculation using motor parameters, rotation speed command, and current references. In the static characteristic, the proposed vector control method is almost equal to the conventional one, because the voltage references are calculated in the vector space. A practical estimate equation of rotor position is proposed, and the phase locked loop control approach is employed to drive PMSM without position and speed sensors. Design method of two control gains is given. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control is verified by simulation and experiments.
