1991年に飯島澄男博士によりカーボンナノチューブが発見されたことにより、宇宙エレベータ建設に必要な引張り強度を持つ材料を手にする可能性が出てきた。宇宙エレベータの実現により、従来のロケットによる物資輸送と比較し、画期的な低コストで人や物を軌道上に輸送できると期待されている。この論文では、宇宙エレベータの概要と世界での研究開発動向を述べるとともに、日本が持つ技術を積極的に用いて実現を目指す「日本版宇宙列車構想」について説明する。この構想では、カーボンナノチューブの強度にだけ注目するのではなく、機能部品としての特性を積極的に使うこととしている。((1)銅と同等の低電気抵抗特性を利用したケーブルからの給電、(2)半導体特性を使ったコイル、スイッチ、電子回路を組み込んだスマートケーブルの開発、(3)スマートケーブルの機能を利用したリニアモータの実現)

This study aims to develop an abridged version of the Auditory Hallucination and Mishearing Questionnaire (SORAMIMI Questionnaire). The abridged version is designed to be used as a quick tool for the assessment of auditory hallucination, mishearing, and subjective hearing loss. Data from 469 university students were used to analyze the item statistics and psychometric properties. Twenty-four items with an optimal combination of high item-total correlations and reliability in assessing changes were selected for the SORAMIMI Questionnaire.

The researches of masking made it clear that there is a bandpass like a filter in the auditory system. This is called the auditory filter and its central frequency is thought to be the frequency of an acoustic signal. If there exist this kind of filter, the authors expected that the noise image which is perceived when pure tone and noise simultaneously presented is different from the one which is perceived when noise is presented independently. The authors chose an interrupted pure tone as an acoustic signal and continuous white noise as noise, and experimented to investigate the pure tone effect on perception of white noise. As a result, two stimulus tones induced three sound images, which are sound images of continuous noise, a pure tone and pulsed noise. The sound image which listeners did not expect to hear was the pulsed noise image. This phenomenon was thought to be an auditory induction; the inducer is the sound image of the white noise presented with the silent part of pure tone of interrupted pure tone and the inducee is that of the white noise presented with pure tone part of interrupted pure tone. This pulse phenomenon suggests that pure tone change the loudness of white noise. This finding is interesting for researches of auditory mechanism and for the field of hygienics with protecting the auditory system and improving hearing under the noisy environment.

近年の社会事業史研究の特徴の一つは,社会事業をめぐる言説があたかも社会事業を創出する直接の要因であるかのような前提のもとに,言説分析に力点が置かれてしまっているところにある。この論文は,言説分析よりも社会事業そのものの実態分析を重視するという立場から,大阪府方面委員制度創設の歴史的意義を検討したものである。この論文では,同制度創設以前に実施された大阪府警察による社会事業に注目し,警察社会事業と方面委員制度との比較分析を行った。警察社会事業は,事業対象者に対して一律に貯金強制を行うなど,貧困事情の個別性に対応できないという限界を有していた。大阪府方面委員制度は,この限界を克服するという面を持っていた。官僚的・画一的・強制的な取締を本質とする警察社会事業と対比して表現するならば,この制度は,「不定形・情緒的・個別的な働きかけ」と特徴づけられる,新しい社会事業なのであった。

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether the impact on the body during landing in dancers is less than in non-dancers by using accelerometers and motion analyzer.Method: Eleven ballet dancers and 11 non-dancers participated in this study. Each subject was instructed to perform 3 types of landing from a height of 30cm: landing, silent landing and raise up landing. Markers were put on the iliac crest, greater trochanter, knee joint, lateral malleolus. The peak vertical and horizontal accelerations of the lumbar, peak vertical acceleration of the greater trochanter and the peak flexion angles of the hip and knee joints were measured after the trials.Result: In the raise up landing, the peak vertical acceleration of the lumbar region in dancers was less than that in non-dancers (p < 0.01), and the peak knee-flexion angle in dancers was greater than that in non-dancers (p < 0.01). There were no differences between the peak hipflexion angles of dancers and non-dancers.Conclusion: The impact on the lumbar during raise up landing was less in dancers. In raise up landing, the trunk tends to be fixed when the dancer stands upright. Moreover, dancers attenuated the shock to the lumbar region by increasing the knee-flexion angle to a greater extent than the non-dancers did. This result may indicate the importance of the knee joint flexion in attenuating the shock during landing and show that dancers excel in using their knees flexibly.

脆弱化した社会組織を活性化させるためには、地域社会に新しいアイ デンティティを形成する社会変化を促す必要がある。このような社会変化を促すためには、「内 発的発展」が重要な役割を果たす。「内発的発展」は、地域住民を結ぶネットワーク上に存在し、 ネットワークは、地域住民共通の「大切なもの」を守ろうとする「思い(紐帯)」で結ばれてい る。そして、地域の「大切なもの」を守ろうとする「思い」が強ければ強いほど、そのための 取組が活発化し、「地域資源(コモンズ)」に対する要求が高まる。

福島県における小ギク栽培は、8月お盆、9月彼岸出しが主力となっており、適期出荷を目的とした電照栽培が一部導入されている。しかし、電照に対する品種別の開花特性が不明であり、開花時期が安定しないことが問題となっている。そこで、8月咲き主要品種に対する電照時間の違いと開花時期との関係について検討した。

長野県飯田市上村北又渡の森林内において2007年8月にコウモリ類の捕獲調査を行ない,コヤマコウモリNyctalus furvusとクビワコウモリEptesicus japonensisを捕獲した.長野県において,コヤマコウモリは初記録であり,クビワコウモリは4例目の記録となる.コヤマコウモリの当歳獣が8月上旬に捕獲されたことは,本種の出産・哺育場所の存在を示唆するはじめての事例となる.また,コヤマコウモリの飛翔直前の音声(精査音)がFM型であることが明らかとなった.

近年、位置情報を用いるサービスへの需要が増加している。現在、携帯端末での現在地測位を行う方法としてGPSが広く普及しているが、屋内や都市部で精度が低下するという問題点がある。この問題を解決するための方法の一つとして慣性航法による移動補正が挙げられる。慣性航法では、センサー系から得られる端末の移動に伴う加速度や角速度を積算することで、端末単体で相対移動量を推定することが可能である。しかしながら、センサー系で生じた誤差の累積による相対移動量の推定誤差が問題となる。本稿では、スマートフォンに搭載されたセンサー情報を用いて慣性航法を実現するために、この推定誤差に対抗する手法を提案する。提案手法を適用することで精度の高い相対移動推定が可能であることを示す。

オウトウは通常の冷蔵施設を用いた貯蔵では鮮度保持期間が短いため、品種の組み合わせや加温ハウス栽培等を組み合わせて出荷時期を前進させることで販売期間の拡大が行われているが、7〜8月の観光客等への対応については、晩生の良食味品種'紅秀峰'が収穫される7月中旬が晩限となっており、それ以降の需要に対応できていない。7月中旬以降は、学校の夏休みやお盆期間の帰省、各地で開催される夏祭りなど、県外からの来客が多く、この時期に山形特産の「さくらんぼ」を供給できれば消費の拡大とともに、山形のイメージアップにも効果が高いものと考えられる。そこで、筆者等は雪むろを利用した場合のオウトウ果実の長期貯蔵について検討したので報告する。

This paper describes an induction heating system of 1kW 450kHz which is developed for dental casting machines. This system consists of a single-phase diode rectifier, a voltage-source inverter using four power MOSFET's, and a series resonant circuit with a matching transformer of turn ratio 8:1. No capacitor is connected on the DC side of the rectifier except for a high frequency capacitor of 0.47 μ F. Thus, the DC voltage across the high frequency capacitor is fluctuating at 100Hz, that is, twice as high as the line frequency of 50Hz as if no capacitor were connected. Not only does the fluctuation have no effect on heating or melting but also the fluctuation plays an essential role in shaping the line current of the rectifier into sinusoid and unity power factor, because it is seen from the DC side of the rectifier that the inverter plus the resonant circuit acts as a pure resistance.The power control covering a wide range from 50W to 1kW is achieved by power factor control of the inverter which takes the place of DC voltage control of the rectifier.The system efficiency is estimated to be 76% by sophisticated measurement of the actual heating power, which is based on Lissajous's figures for voltage and charge.
