本研究では,ソーシャル・スキルという観点からの児童理解や指導のための一助とするために,児童のソーシャル・スキルの性差を中心とした発達について明らかにすることを目的とした.公立小学校2 校の小学2 年生から6 年生を対象として質問紙調査を行い,706 名(男子350 名,女子356 名)を分析対象とした.その結果,配慮のスキル・関わりのスキルとも,有意に女子の方が高かった.配慮のスキルについては,小学2 年生の時点ですでに女子の方が高く,その後も女子の方が高いスキルを持ち続けていることが示唆された.関わりのスキルについては,配慮のスキルほど,はっきりした性差はみられなかった.男子では,配慮のスキル・関わりのスキルとも,学年群があがることによる有意な変化は見られなかった.女子では,学年群があがるに従って,配慮のスキル・関わりのスキルとも下がる傾向があり,特に高学年では,低・中学年に比べて有意に低かった.

Some of the mechanisms underlying superior performance in sports may be clarified by investigating the role of visual information in the execution of particular responses by expert athletes. The aim of this study was to examine how soccer players process visual information when executing a tactical pass in a 4 vs. 4 attacking play scenario. To identify the cognitive processes operating during task execution, we measured eye movement and correlated it with verbal reports from players. The subjects comprised 30 soccer players with differing proficiencies (15 “experts” and 15 “sub-experts”). 2 tests were carried out: a test to evaluate the level of passing skill, and a decision-making test to evaluate the reproducibility of tactical passing and the accuracy of passes aimed to specific locations. Eye movements were measured during the decision-making test. Furthermore, in each trial of the decision-making test, verbal reports were collected. These related to how and why participants decided to pass the ball to any particular player among the 4 attackers on screen and, in order to determine their best judgment, how they captured the play situation and what they paid attention to. The results revealed that for execution of the pass, the experts were significantly more proficient at passing accurately to the aimed location, and their passing judgment was more reproducible in comparison to the sub-experts, although both groups had a uniform level of passing skill in terms of pass execution. In addition, eye movement data obtained during pass execution confirmed that in the play observation phase, while experts maintained their line of sight on other objects, they also maintained a longer gaze on defensive players to identify gaps between them. Also in the ball approach phase, the experts maintained a longer gaze on the player who was judged to be the best choice for receiving an accurate pass. These observations suggest that the superior passing performance of expert soccer players is attributable to accurate and efficient extraction of visual information and utilizing it in the context of their accumulated knowledge base.

日本でNPOとされているのは, 民間の小規模な市民活動団体であり, かなり限定的な概念になっている。 このような日本におけるNPO概念が, どのようにして形成されたかを探ることがわれわれの研究の目的である。そのうち初期の段階でとりわけ重要な役割を果たした日本ネットワーカーズ会議について, 各種の資料およびキーパーソンとのインタビューによって調査した。 その発足の過程や活動の内容を詳細に記述する。 (英文) In Japan, a concept of nonprofit organization is restricted. That covers only small civil groups. A purpose of this study is searching why and how that narrow concept formed. Especially, I observe Nihon Networkers' Kaigi (JNC; Japan Networkers' Coference) that played important role in early stage. In this paper, I describe the process JNC started and their activities in detail. The data collected by analysis of documents and interviews.

NuScale社が開発している小型モジュール炉(SMR)は,2020年8月にNRCがFSERを発行し,米国における標準設計認証を取得している。NuScale SMRは受動安全系を備えており,設計基準事故のみならず設計基準を超過する事故においても運転員操作に頼らずに事故収束が可能で,また公衆への社会的リスクも大幅に低減できる,革新的な軽水炉である。米国においては,従来の軽水炉との違いを考慮し,適用規定の除外等,合理的に許認可プロセスを進めている。本報では,NuScale SMRの特徴と,日本国内導入に向けた安全規制の在り方についての課題を提起している。

全国一のレンコン産地である茨城県では,カモ類及びバン類による年間約3億円(2020年度)のレンコン被害が報告されている.レンコンは通年湛水のハス田の泥中に生育し,収穫時にえぐられた傷のあるレンコンが混じることがあるため「カモ被害」とされてきたが,実際にカモ類等が夜間に食害する様子を示した資料は無かった.どの種がどのようにレンコンを食べるか明らかにするため,2021年2–3月,収穫後のハス田(泥面は水面下約20 cm)に試験的にレンコンを設置し,カモ類等による夜間の採食行動を自動撮影カメラで撮影した.全16回の試験回毎に,2–4節ある新鮮なレンコンを日没前に田内(水面下0–52 cm,試験毎に深さを変更,園芸用支柱に結えて保持)又は畦上に設置し,翌朝に回収した.その結果,マガモAnas platyrhynchosとオオバンFulica atraがレンコンを食べる様子が頻繁に撮影され,まず畦上又は水面にあるレンコンを突いて食べ,完食すると次いで頭を水中に浸して水面下0–20 cmにあるレンコンを食べていた.その後,水面下20–40 cmの泥中にあるレンコンを倒立して食べ,途中,オオバンは潜水,マガモは水かきで泥を掘る動作も行った.翌朝,レンコンが食べられた範囲の泥面は水面下20–42 cmのすり鉢状に掘られており,水面下40 cmよりも深くにはレンコンが残っていた.他のカモ類の飛来は少なかったが,ヨシガモA. falcataは泥面のレンコンを,ヒドリガモA. penelopeは畦上と水面のレンコンを食べた.ハシビロガモA. clypeata,コガモA. crecca,オカヨシガモA. streperaはレンコンを食べる行動は見られなかった.以上から,泥中に着生する商品となるレンコンが少なくともマガモとオオバンによる食害を受けうることが示され,浅く位置するレンコンほど食害を受けやすいと考えられた.

本研究では、アイヌの集団的・文化的形成過程において海洋狩猟民文化の強い影響が社会文化伝統にも、集団的にも、存在したことを示唆する豊富な資料を提供することができた。浜中2遺跡の調査では、海獣儀礼の伝統が先行する先史文化から連続して継承、発展されアイヌ文化の中へ取り込まれていくことが考古学的に提示された。集団的な系統性については、先行研究で示唆されていたオホーツク文化の関与を補強する資料を得ることができた。提示されたアイヌ民族の集団形成性の複雑さは、集団のアイデンティティの形成過程や変遷についても、社会・経済・政治的文脈での検討の必要性を示唆している。今後も得られた資料の調査研究を進めていく。

本稿は,集団生活から逸脱する子どもへの向精神薬投与に着目し,児童 養護施設という場において施設職員が医療的ケアをどのように受け止め, 実践しているのかを明らかにした.研究方法としては,児童養護施設に入 り,施設職員の語りから得たフィールドノーツと参与観察をもとに分析し た.調査の結果,児童養護施設において集団生活から逸脱してしまう子ど もは医療機関を受診し,医師の判断のもと向精神薬投与に至っていた.施 設職員は子どもへの向精神薬投与について否定的であり,子どもへの向精 神薬投与に疑問を抱きながらも,施設の運営・管理のためには「仕方がな い」と納得させている様子がうかがえた.中には,体罰の禁止が制度化さ れたことで医療的ケアへと変化したと捉え,向精神薬の使用が子どもと大 人との関係をつなぐためのコミュニケーションツールであると認識するこ とで, 自らを納得させている職員もいた. 向精神薬に代わる方法として,職員は大人と子どもとの関係が密になれ る環境を整えることや,里親委託を含めた措置変更をあげていた.だが, 子どもが措置先でトラブルを起こすと再び他の施設へ措置するといった形 で措置が行われてしまう可能性もあることから,向精神薬投与は処遇しに くい子どもを落ち着かせ,次々と施設をたらい回しにされる措置変更を阻 止している点もあることを考察した.

For the occurrence of a rare event A such as a severe adverse drug reaction, there exists the “Rule of Three” to remind practitioners that “absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” The Rule of Three actually says that even if the event A was not observed among n patients it would be quite possible to observe three events among other n patients. The present paper examines this useful rule in detail and also extends it to a testing problem for occurrence probability of A.First, the Rule of Three is extended to the case that the number of the event observed among the first n patients is more than zero. We give rules that when k (> 0) events were observed among n patients, nk events would be possibly observed among other n patients. Next, a testing procedure is introduced to examine whether the occurrence probabilities of A for two populations are the same under the condition that k events were observed among n patients for one population. It will be shown that the relevant probability distribution is a negative binomial, and then critical regions for small k's are given. For a possible application of the procedure, we mention the signal detection for spontaneous reporting system of adverse drug reaction.

The relationship of Internet behavior to sociability and aggression in real life was investigated in a web-based survey. Weblog users (n=395) and online-game users (n=206) were asked to respond to questionnaires that included their behavior on the Internet, as well as to scales that measured real-life sociability, aggression, and social isolation. Results indicated that Self-reflection on weblogs and Feeling of Belonging during online-games related to enhancement of sociability. By contrast, Internet behavior such as flaming, as well as immersive and addictive use, related to decrease of sociability and increase of aggression regardless of the type of application that was used. These findings suggest that the effects of weblogs and online-games use depend on the type of behavior, as well as the types of application, that are used. It is also suggested that social isolation in real life decreased sociability through immersive and addictive use, and increased aggression through flaming.

ナガミヒナゲシが日本国内で生育地を拡大している原因を解明するため、1961年に日本で初めて帰化が報告された東京都世田谷区と、1990年代以降急速に生育地が増加した東京都稲城市で生育地調査を行った。ナガミヒナゲシの生育地数は、世田谷地区と稲城地区の双方とも道路植桝で最も多く、次いで駐車場や道路に面した住宅地となり、自動車の通過する道路周辺に多いことが判明した。ナガミヒナゲシの生育地は道路植桝から周辺の駐車場へと自動車の移動に伴って拡大したと考えられる。この過程を検証するため、ナガミヒナゲシの在・不在データを応答変数として、道路植桝から駐車場までの距離と舗装の有無、それらの交互作用を説明変数とするロジスティック回帰分析を行った。AICによるモデル選択の結果、世田谷地区ではいずれの説明変数(距離、舗装の有無、それらの交互作用)も選択されなかったのに対し、稲城地区では距離(P=0.07)および距離と舗装の有無の交互作用(P=0.04)がナガミヒナゲシの存在に負の影響を及ぼしていた。これらの結果から、(1)帰化年代の古い世田谷地区では生育地拡大が完了しており、主要道路からの距離や舗装の有無とは無関係にナガミヒナゲシが生育していること、(2)稲城地区では生育地拡大の途上であり、その過程は道路植桝からの距離だけでなく、距離と舗装の有無との交互作用によって影響されることが示唆された。

福島県では福島第一原子力発電所事故が発生してから,イナゴの放射線汚染を懸念してイナゴ食(イナゴを採集し,調理して食べること)を楽しむ人が減少した.そこで2011年,2012年に福島県各地で採取したイナゴに含まれる放射性セシウムを測定したところ,134Csと137Csの合計放射能濃度は,最高で60.6 Bq/kgであり,2012年に設定された食品中の放射性物質の新たな基準値である100 Bq/kgを下回ることが示された.さらに,イナゴは一般的な調理過程を経ることによって,放射能濃度が15.8 Bq/kg以下,未処理時の1/4程度まで低下することが示された.

ソーシャルメディア上には多くのイラストが能動的エンタテイメントとして投稿されており,様々な画風を分析する上での貴重なデータとして扱うことができる可能性がある.しかしながら,ソーシャルメディア上で投稿された画像は構造化されておらず,画像データベースとしてそのまま用いることはできない.本稿では,整理されていない画像集合を整理する作業を 2 つのゲームに分けることで,楽しく整理する手法を提案する.データセットを構築するための「検定ゲーム」と作成したデータセットにアノテーションを加えるための「パーティゲーム」の 2 つに分けた.整理されていない画像集合とし#ghibliredrawのタグを用いた描き変えイラスト画像を対象とした.

Pumice ejected from the Fukutoku-Oka-no-Ba (FOB) eruption of August 2021 arrived at the Nansei Islands after 2-months drifting, and subsequently arrived at Kanto area to the east and Taiwan, Philippines, and Thailand to the west. Deposition of huge amount of the drift pumice, most of which had a chocolate-chip cookie resemblance in appearance, is a drastic event and thus attracted SNS account holders, so that the arrival timeline can be traced via their daily posts. Gathering such huge amount of information from the internet can be a powerful tool to investigate and predict a geologic phenomenon that affects wide area in a short time scale. We introduce the drift pumice from FOB with respect to their deposition style, petrographic characteristics, and comparison with the previous drift pumice phenomena observed in Japan. Their impact to the Japanese society was well reflected to the buzz on Twitter. Finally, we discuss how the scientist should behave on the internet to provide correct information in an effective way.

Ostorhinchus fleurieu Lacepede, 1802 is recorded from Japan for the first time on the basis of 21 specimens (37.6-106.8mm standard length) collected from Kagoshima Prefecture, southern Japan. On the basis of underwater photographs, Osezaki, Izu Peninsula, is regarded as the northernmost record of the species. The new Japanese name "Kongo-tenjikudai" is proposed for the species. Comparisons of Ostorhinchus fleurieu with closely related species, O. aureus, based on 21 and 12 specimens, respectively, from Japan showed that O. fleurieu differed from O. aureus in having fewer total gill rakers (19-21, mode 21 vs. 23-24, 24 in the latter) and developed gill rakers (16-18, 18 vs. 18-21, 20), the pelvic-fin base located below the first lateral-line scale (vs. second scale), and a poorly defined, barrel-shaped black band on the caudal peduncle (vs. well-defined, sandglass-shaped band).
