奥州藤原氏の建立になる平泉・中尊寺や、藤原秀衡の平泉館といわれている柳之御所遺跡から出土した金箔に用いられている砂金に、北海道の砂金が使われていたかどうかを明らかにする。そのため、SEM-EDSおよびXRFにより、非破壊分析を実施する。それと平行して北海道・東北各地の砂金および産出地の土壌サンプルを蓄積する。このデータベースの数値と平泉での測定数値を比較して、砂金の産地同定を行う。

日本国内で紀元前3世紀から紀元後7世紀後半ごろに流通した古代ガラスは,全て海外からの搬入品であり,その化学組成は多様である.本研究では北海道道央地方から出土した続縄文時代のガラスビーズ計98点について,化学組成よりガラスの原料採取地や製作地の推定を試みた.分析資料は文化財であり,所蔵施設外部への持ち出しや破壊分析が困難であるため,ポータブル蛍光X線分析装置を用いて非破壊オンサイト分析を行った.その結果,資料は分析組成に基づきアルミナソーダ石灰ガラス(Na2O-Al2O3-CaO-SiO2系),ソーダ石灰ガラス(Na2O-CaO-SiO2系),カリガラス(K2O-SiO2系)の3タイプに分類された.また,東京理科大学中井研究室がこれまで分析した本州以南の古代ガラスとの微量重元素組成の比較より,同時期の北海道道央地方と本州以南では同様の起源を持つガラスが流通していたことが明らかになった.

Completed in 1356, the "Suwa Daimyōjin Ekotoba" is an important historical source of the medieval history of the Ainu. In this book, the Ainu were referred to by the word ʻEzoʼ. There were three groups in ʻEzoʼ : Hinomoto, Karako, and Wataritō. Among them, the ʻKarakoʼ people have been regarded as a group that lived on the west coast of northern Hokkaido. In the 13th and 14th centuries, the Mongol Empire and the Yuan Dynasty invaded Sakhalin Island. In medieval Japanese, the group name ʻKarakoʼ can be translated as ʻthe children in Chinese attire and hairstyleʼ. The meaning can be explained by the relationship between northern Hokkaido and China.According to the records of Jesuit missionaries in the early 17th century, the place called Teshio on the west coast of northern Hokkaido was a trading hub with Sakhalin Island. And one example of Okhotsk type pottery made in the southern part of Sakhalin Island was found in ruins, dated to be after the 10th century, in Nayoro city in the inland area of northern Hokkaido. It is estimated that this Okhotsk type pottery was carried to Nayoro city via the Teshio River. At the mouth of the Teshio River, there is a large archaeological site of Satsumon culture. Thus, the mouth of the Teshio River was likely a hub for trade with Sakhalin Island from the 11th to the 17th centuries. The newly found evidence indicates the name ʻKarakoʼ originated from the close relationship between Teshio and Sakhalin Island.

本研究の目的は,ラボラトリー方式の体験学習を用いた授業が大学生の対人的傾向やソーシャルスキルに及ぼす効果について,不等価統制群事前事後テストデザインによって検証することであった。加えて,体験学習のEIAHE'モデルに基づく「体験から学ぶ力」の個人差が,ラボラトリー方式の体験学習の効果に影響するかどうかについて検証することも目的とした。大学1年次の春学期にラボラトリー方式の体験学習を用いた授業を受講した対象者を実施群,同学年同学科で受講しなかった対象者を統制群とし,授業開始時期の4月と授業終了時期の7月に,対人的傾向やソーシャルスキル尺度,「体験から学ぶ力」評定尺度への回答を求めた。その結果,統制群に比べて実施群の対象者は,「自己発見動機」得点が有意に上昇することが明らかになり,ラボラトリー方式の体験学習は自己への気づきに対する動機づけを高めることが示された。また,実施群において「体験から学ぶ力」の自己評定が高い群は低い群に比べて,「ソーシャルスキル」合計得点とその下位尺度である「問題解決スキル」,「コミュニケーション・スキル」の得点が有意に上昇することが明らかになった。

The present study was conducted to obtain basic information about blood glucose fluctuation and relation with race performance during 100 km marathon. Subcutaneous glucose of one well-trained runner was measured by continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) at 5 min interval and blood samples for biochemical analysis were drawn at pre, middle and post of the race. Energy balance during one week prior to the 100 km race was recorded, and the whole energy and fluid intake during the race was analyzed. Blood glucose fluctuated reflecting duration of exercise and energy supply during the race. During the latter part of the race (65–70 km), abrupt declines in blood glucose level, which reflected insufficient carbohydrate intake before the race (119 g), were accompanied by decrease in running speed. The present report suggests that continuous glucose monitoring supplemented with standard nutritional and physiological measurement provides precise and valuable information on runner’s energy state during the ultra-endurance race, and that athletes need to reassess their preparation for the race and planning of energy intake during the race.

自閉症の特徴の一つである「対人的相互作用の障害」は共感性の障害に基づくと考えられている。本研究では、自閉症の共感性の障害の神経基盤を探る目的で、機能的磁気共鳴画像(fMRI)により共感が惹起された時の前部帯状回の活動を計測し、自閉症との関連が指摘されているセロトニン・トランスポーター遺伝子多型との関連を検討する。平成21年度は、以下のように研究を進めた。平成20年度において選定した成人自閉症者5例、健常対照5例を対象に、他者の痛みを感じるような画像刺激を提示し、fMRIを撮像した。撮像プロトコルはTE=40msec,TR=3000msec,In-planere solution=3.1mm,スライス厚=7mm,ギャップ=0.7mm,18スライスとした。その結果、「身体的な痛み」、「心の痛み」のいずれを惹起する課題においても、活性化する脳領域に両群で有意な差はなかった。この結果には、例数の不足による検出力低下が影響していると考えられる。今後、さらに対象者を募る予定である。また、共感性の障害において前部帯状回と深く関係する脳部位の一つに海馬があるため、成人自閉症者の海馬における代謝物量を磁気共鳴スペクトル法により測定した。その結果、自閉症者の海馬ではクレアチン、コリン含有物が健常者に比べ増加しており、その増加は自閉症者の攻撃性と有意に正相関することを見出した(Int J Neuropsychopharmacol誌に公表)。

The first objective of this study was to develop a course unit plan for physical fitness in the lower grades of elementary school, in which traditional play as exemplified by exercises for physical fitness are used as teaching material to create various movements (Study I). The second objective was to conduct classes using traditional play as teaching material based on the course unit plan, in order to gain an understanding of the fundamental movements that appear and the amount of physical exercise during the class (Study II). Study I: A total of 163 traditional play physical activities were selected from prior studies and related publications. 22 elementary school third graders were examined for the fundamental movements included in 42 of the traditional play physical activities. The median number of such fundamental movements that appeared was 3 (minimum: 1, maximum: 8). From the survey results, traditional play physical activities were selected from among those that had no bias in their fundamental movements and had rules that could easily be changed and levels of difficulty that could easily be adjusted, and a course unit plan was developed taking into account the ease of class preparation by teachers. Study II: A total of 5 lessons based on the course unit plan were given to 23 elementary school second graders. The fundamental movements were measured using observational methods, and the number of steps was measured objectively using an accelerometer. The fundamental movements observed and the number of steps measured during the course unit were compared with the age-appropriate standards for motor skills. The results revealed the following: 1) Of the 28 fundamental movements that were set, 25 were observed during the course unit. 2) There was a high frequency of fundamental movements common to many of the traditional play physical activities. 3) The mean number of steps in the physical education classes with diverse movements using traditional play physical activities as teaching materials for lower grades of elementary school was 2343.6±586.1. 4) There were no differences in the number of steps in any of the classes between the higher-ranked and the lower-ranked children. These results suggest that from the perspective of fundamental movements and amount of physical exercise, creating various movements using traditional play physical activities as teaching materials may be satisfactory.

レオメーターの圧縮試験によるゆであげ直後およびゆで上げ7分後の中華麺の硬さ(ヤング率)は食味官能評価と高い正の相関関係にあり,中華麺用小麦の選抜手法として有効であると考えた.また,品種により年次変動が大きく,さらなる検討が必要である.

SLIM (Smart Lander for Investigating Moon) is the Lunar Landing Demonstrator which is under development at ISAS/JAXA. SLIM demonstrates not only so-called Pin-Point Landing Technique to the lunar surface, but also demonstrates the design to make the explorer small and lightweight. Realizing the compact explorer is one of the key points to achieve the frequent lunar and planetary explorations. This paper summarizes the preliminary system design of SLIM, especially the way to reduce the size.

【緒言】糖尿病を合併した終末期悪性リンパ腫患者の経口投与が困難な難治性悪心に対して,アセナピン舌下錠を使用し,悪心の改善ができたので報告する.【症例】78歳男性,糖尿病を併発するびまん性大細胞型B細胞リンパ腫の患者で右前頭葉,小脳に腫瘤や結節,周囲脳実質に浮腫が認められた.中枢浸潤が原因と考えられる悪心・嘔吐を繰り返し,経口投与はできなかったためメトクロプラミド,ハロペリドール,ヒドロキシジン注を併用したが,悪心のコントロールは困難であった.アセナピンは糖尿病患者にも使用可能で,制吐作用があるオランザピンと同じ多元受容体作用抗精神病薬に分類される.その作用機序から制吐作用が得られることを期待し,アセナピン舌下錠5 mg,1日1回就寝前の投与を開始した.アセナピン舌下錠の開始後,難治性悪心は著明に改善した.【考察】アセナピンは,難治性悪心に対する治療の有効な選択肢となる可能性がある.

Glass beads, possibly belonging to Ainu Culture, were analyzed by XRF technique to understand the origin of these glass. The samples were excavated from Hokkaido belonging to the periods from the mid 14th to the 19th century AD. The analytical results showed that the beads can be classified into two types, lead-potash silicate glass and potash lime silica glass, based on the major components. The proportion of the potash lime silica glass in total glass analyzed is significantly higher than that usually found in beads excavated in Honshu area indicating an apparent difference in the source of the glass. A compositional similarity was observed in green potash lead silica glass between present samples and Ichijyodani Asakura Clan Ruins(15,16th century AD). Potash lime silica glass beads were classified into two groups based on trace heavy elements compositions, indicating the presence of two origins.

症例はてんかん性脳症の10歳女児. 発作は難治で1日10回程度の強直発作・ミオクロニー発作が出現し, 覚醒時脳波で多焦点性鋭徐波複合が多発していた. topiramate追加内服中, 眼振の増悪がみられ漸減中止したところ, ミオクロニー発作の頻度が増加し, levetiracetam (LEV) 250mg/日を追加した. LEV開始翌日から発作は消失したが, 反応性低下と寡動がみられた. 覚醒時脳波を再検したところ多焦点性鋭徐波複合の消失を認め, 強制正常化の診断基準を満たした. LEV投与による強制正常化の報告は調べ得た限り自験例が初めてである. LEVは初期から治療量の投与が可能である半面, 強制正常化の可能性を念頭におく必要がある.

An energy cycle using solar power and metals has been proposed. High repetitive laser pulses are generated by a solar-pumped laser or a laser generated using solar power, and the laser pulses are irradiated to metal oxides in liquid. We can obtain reduced metal nanoparticles with this method, and solar power is effectively stored as chemical energy. We fabricated Li air fuel cells using sintered Iron or Aluminum nanopaste plates as negative electrodes. Electricity was successfully produced from these cells. The observed maximum output voltage of the Al paste Li air cell was 2.9 V when they were connected to a low load. The Fe or Al paste Li air cells are expected to become common power supplies with high-energy density and high output power.

本研究の目的は、14~16世紀のアイヌ文化の状況を明らかにすることである。この時期は、近世のアイヌ文化の成立期であるが、文献史料と考古学資料が少ないため、状況がわかっていない。そのため、漢語・満洲語・日本語史料の調査を行うと同時に、遺物の成分分析や年代測定、それに遺跡の電磁探査など、さまざまな分析方法で情報を収集した。その結果、14~15世紀の北海道でカリ石灰ガラスのガラス玉が発見された。本州でほとんどガラス玉が出土しないので、アムール河下流域からの玉と考えられる。この時期は、元・明朝がアムール河下流域に進出した時期に重なるので、北方からの影響が強くアイヌ文化に及んだことが推定できる。

本研究では,ストレス軽減のためデジタル機器から一定期間離れる取り組みであるデジタルデトックスの基盤的な研究を企図して,①回答者の属性とデジタル機器の使用状況,デジタル機器の依存性を把握し,それらの関係性を明らかにすること,②平日・休日の過ごし方,デジタルデトックスへの意向を把握し,デジタルデトックスの可能性を考察すること,の2点を目的とした。その結果,約半数の学生がデジタル機器を4時間以上使用し,一部の学生は機器の使用によって学生生活に問題を抱えていた。学生の意向をふまえれば,日常の機器使用制限や自然豊かな場所への外出はデジタルデトックスに有効と考えられた。

中世・近世の多様な考古資料と文献史料の両方から、津軽海峡・宗谷海峡を越えたヒトとモノの移動の実態を明らかにすることで、歴史上、「蝦夷地」と呼ばれた北海道・サハリン・千島地域へ和人がいつ、いかなる形で進出したかを解明した。その上で、「蝦夷地」が政治的・経済的に内国化されていくプロセスを詳らかにし、そうした和人や日本製品の蝦夷地進出が、アイヌ文化の形成と変容にどのような影響を与えたか考察を行った。
