It is possible to suppose two main positions when we consider the information network of the Internet. On the one hand, there is a position where we give importance to the information itself and examine the network, forgetting the informations' barer. On the other hand, there is a position where which does not recognize the force of information itself and attaches importance to its bearer. Indeed, both positions hold the same supposition in common. They distinguish the information and its bearer and they diminish one of these two terms. In other words, they deal with problems by taking a monist position after they had already recognized a dualism. The problem is that they can argue only one term's importance, action and force. It is necessary to cope with both terms or to unite both terms after their distinction. After all, we understand the information network as a dynamic entity in which action and passion of information and its bearer (i.e. subject) continually change places.

The aim of this study was to examine the function of Thai Massage schools for foreigners in the process of Thai Massage becoming a global health culture. Currently, Thai Massage attracts widespread popularity as a relaxation or health therapy. In the background, there is the Thai government's policy, which has institutionalized Thai Massage as “Thai Medicine” since the 1990s. As a result of this policy, Thai Massage has enhanced its medical value, cultural value and economic value, and become globalized. Another important factor must also be considered in the context of globalization of Thai Massage, and that is the global interest in Indian Yoga, Chinese Tai Chi and other various eastern health therapies or body techniques. This is a strong focus of the present paper. People who have a great deal of interest in “self-care” and their practical communities are another important factor of Thai Massage globalization. These practices are not restricted to national institutions, and are more fluid and transnational. “Health” is a concept that has developed in modern national systems, and “health culture” has emerged from this in relation to the power of modern nations. However, health culture created by people who practice Thai Massage and other eastern health therapies can be seen in a different dimension. This study focuses on Thai Massage schools for foreigners as specific foci of this dimension, and the process of Thai Massage can be envisaged as a global culture by analyzing the historical and cultural background of Thai Massage schools for foreigners and dealing with the actual situation ethnographically. In conclusion, it can be said that Thai Massage schools have structurally contributed to the globalization of Thai Massage by being gathering places for knowledge and techniques related to the body, to which humans universally aspire. It is now evident that these “health communities”, which differ from hospitals and clinics served by medicine, are places at which people can engage their bodies and health independently.

症例1は75歳男性.心房細動にてダビガトラン220mg/日服用開始したところ,5日後より食道閉塞感,ゲップを自覚.上部消化管内視鏡検査にて中部食道に白色の膜様付着物を伴った潰瘍性病変を認めた.ダビガトランを継続しながらプロトンポンプ阻害剤(以下PPI)を服用したところ潰瘍は治癒した.症例2は68歳,女性.発作性心房細動に対しダビガトラン300mg/日服用開始77日後より胸焼けを自覚.上部消化管内視鏡検査にて中部食道に白色の膜様付着物を伴った潰瘍性病変を認めた.ダビガトランを中止しPPI投与したところ潰瘍は治癒した.ダビガトランは循環器領域で使用頻度が高まると予想される薬剤であり,薬剤性食道潰瘍の原因となり得ることを念頭に置く必要がある.

本研究は、選挙ガバナンスが民主政治に与える影響を、比較政治学的に解明しようとするものである。本研究は、国際比較と日本国内の自治体間比較を通じて、選挙管理という研究上の大きな空白を埋める。調査結果、常識的見解と異なる二つのことが明らかになった。第1に、選挙の公平性、公正性は、国際的に推奨される選挙管理機関の独立性のみでは達成できず、より複雑な扱いが必要である。第2に、日本では選挙管理委員会の業務は画一的で公平、校正であると考えられてきたが、委員会や事務局の構成のあり方によって大きく左右される。それゆえ、市区町村によってバリエーションが発生している。

本研究は、1)日本の高等教育についての基礎的なデータを大規模調査によって蓄積し、その分析をおこない、2)それをもとに各国の高等教育との比較分析を行うとともに、3)その基礎にたって、日本の高等教育の課題を明らかにすること、を目的とした。とくに大規模調査については、(1)高校生調査(高校3年生4000人を、その後5年間にわたり追跡)、(2)大学生調査(127大学、約4万8千人の大学生について学習行動を調査)、(3)社会人調査(9千事業所、2万5千人に大学教育の経験、評価を調査)、(4)大学教員調査(回答者数約5千人)、(5)大学職員調査(回答者数、約6千人)、を行い、それをデータベース化した。

通信の安全を確立するサーバ認証を適切に行うには,パブリック認証局から発行されたサーバ証明書が必要である.しかしながら,過去にはパブリック認証局から発行を受けることの重要性が正しく認識されてこなかったことがあり,更には商用のサーバ証明書は審査手続きが煩雑な上に学術機関の実態に沿っていないなどの課題もあったため,学術機関におけるサーバ証明書の普及は遅れていた.そこで筆者らは,学術機関のために最適化したサーバ証明書発行スキームと,証明書自動発行支援システムからなる学術機関のためのサーバ証明書発行フレームワークを提案した.国立情報学研究所による実証実験と本運用を通じて,同スキームにより高い身元確認レベルを確保しつつ審査手続きの学術機関最適化を,また同システムにより認証事業者の証明書発行業務を自動化するとともに各学術機関が必要な学内システムを用意した場合には学術機関側の工数削減も可能であることを実証した.

検索エンジンはインターネットで情報を探す手段として欠くことができない.また,ユーザは検索エンジンの検索結果から得られる情報はテレビからの情報とほぼ同等の信頼性があると認知しているという調査報告がある.すなわち,検索エンジンのランキングを調べることによって,あるサイトが社会に与える影響力の一端を把握できると考えられる.本稿では,今やインターネット上の百科事典の代名詞ともなったウィキペディアが社会に与える影響力を調べることを目的として,日本語版ウィキペディアの検索エンジンにおけるランキング解析を行った.実験の結果,全記事のうち,上位10位以内にランキングされた記事はYahoo! JAPANとGoogleでは約9割,MSNでは約7割となった.また,Yahoo! JAPAN,MSNともに,ウィキペディアの新規記事は「はてなダイアリーキーワード」と比べ,最初から上位10位以内に現れる傾向が強く,上位のランキングを維持する傾向があることが分かった.以上のようにウィキペディアの影響力は大きいものであるということが実験結果から確認できた.

現在開発を行っている「中古和文UniDic」を紹介する.これは平安時代の仮名文学作品を典型とする和文系の資料を対象とする形態素解析辞書であり,すでに公開中の「近代文語UniDic」同様,日本語の歴史的資料の形態素解析を可能にするものである.In this paper, we present "Chuko-Wabun UniDic", which is an electrical dictionary for morphological analysis of classical Japanese. The dictionary is especially designed for the analysis of literary texts in the Heian period, and is an effective means for examining historical texts, like "Kindai-Bungo UniDic" for modern Japanese.

国立国語研究所で計画している 「通時コーパス」 の構築には,様々な時代・文体のテキストに対する形態素解析を実現することが必要となる.本発表ではその基礎となる各種の歴史的資料を対象とした UniDic について報告する.National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics is planning to construct the Diachronic Corpus of Japanese. In order to compile the diachronic corpus, it is necessary to implement morphological analysis of various texts in different times and writing styles. In this paper, I report the UniDic dictionaries for various historical Japanese texts.
3 0 0 0 自己組織化マップによる需要予測モデル切り替え方法の研究
冷暖房需要は、部屋の熱収支や設定温度など熱的な要因、空調機器の運用方法や人間の暑さに対する感覚などの人的要因、さらには天候などにより左右される複雑な現象である。このため、需要を予測する場合には適当な予測モデルを設計することが多い。この予測モデルに回帰モデルを利用する場合、一つの予測モデルで対応するには限界がある。たとえば冷房需要において、冬場の低需要期から夏の高需要期に移る時期では空調機器の運用方法や人の暑さに対する感覚が変化する。このため、気温に対する回帰係数は少なくとも低需要期用と高需要期用の二つを用意しなければならない。ところが、予測モデルを複数用意した場合にはモデルを切り替える条件が問題となる。このモデル切り換えの判断は試行錯誤的な要素が強く、あまり研究されていない。そこで本研究では、需要予測を回帰式で行う場合を前提とし、予測モデルを切り換える条件を求める方法について検討したので報告する。

On 22 July 2009, partial solar eclipse was observed in most regions in Japan and a total solar eclipse was observed in the Southwest Islands. At the Nara Campus of Kinki University, located in Nara Prefecture, central Japan, the sun fell into eclipse at 9:46, the maximum eclipse occurred at 11:05 (82% eclipse) and the eclipse finished at 12:25. The weather was cloudy and occasionally the sun peeped through the clouds.At the maximum eclipse, the following phenomena were observed:1) The ratio of singing individuals of two species of cicada, Platypleura kaempferi, and Graptopsaltria nigrofuscata, singing in daylight was reduced, hereas he higurashi cicada, Tanna japonensis, which sings at early morning and evening, began to sing actively.2) The katydids, Gampsocleis buergeri ,which sing in daylight, were silent.3) Two species of bird, Hypsipetes amaurotis and Cettia diphone were silent.4) The activities of flight butterfly species, Zizeeria maha, declined.5) The leaves of the silk tree, Albizia julibrrissin., which normally close at night, begun to close.6) The amount of solar radiation decreased and the air temperature declined.The response of some animals and plants to the eclipse may be coused by these weather factors which caused by solar eclipse.
