Overground-openness and undergroundopenness are defined for a grid point on digital elevation models. The former is a characteristic quantity to describe sky extent over the point within a distance L and takes large values for convex landf orms. The latter is to describe underground extent and takes large values for concave landforms. These concepts are applied to 50m-mesh digital elevation model of Mt. Iwate to make openness maps of L=5km and L=0.5km. The maps were found useful to represent topographical features such as the lines of ridge and valley.

背面入射型p^+n-InSbフォトダイオードアレイと埋め込みpチャンネルSi-CCDをInバンプで貼り合わせた64×64画素IRCCDを開発した.イオン注入法で作製したフォトダイオードの表面不活性化に, 陽極酸化/Al_2O_3低温スパッタ法で形成した2層膜を採用したところ, 接合の良さの指標である無バイアス微分抵抗と接合面積との積R_0Aを10^5Ωcm^2以上と大幅に改善することができた.また, Inバンプをあらかじめ円錘形に成形した後に両基板を圧接するプロセスの採用により必要圧力が減り, その結果, 両基板に損傷を与えることなしに結合抵抗を大幅に減らすことができ, 電荷注入効率が改善された.そのためγ値=1.00±0.01と優れた入出力直線性が得られた.また, InSb結晶厚さを20μmまで薄く研磨することにより, 高感度化が達成されると共にクロストークも減り, MTFの改善が図れた.これらの効果により, 画素補正を行った後の温度分解能NETDは0.05〜0.06degまで向上した.

This study analyzes the architectural characteristics in a community model called Godin's Familistère of collective housing for laborers in the 19th century. Utopian socialists in the first half of the 19th century proposed different solutions to reform their chaotic capitalist society, as they criticized the maladies of the Industrial Revolution. Fourier designed a community model called Phalanstère, in which production, consumption and residence coexisted as a cooperative society, and his disciples tried in vain to make it real. Only Familistère, which was constructed in Guise, France from 1858 by the successful entrepreneur Godin, was considered a successful example of the idealistic residential community. However, Familistère was not simply a realization of Fourier's plans, but an original experiment by Godin. Familistère had many kinds of common facilities that were useful for a convenient life, which was the equivalent of having wealth. Moreover, Familistère was a community of production, distribution, consumption, education, leisure and residence, all of which were connected to work-sites. The community also featured a cooperative society of consumption, medical services by the cooperative system and space for schools and leisure.

This paper proposes the expat assessment system for global management personnel training utilizing the data mining employing evolutionary computation. This study follows the three steps. First step is to research those overseas temporary staff by direct hearing and having them answer the questionnaires. The second step is to make the data base with the results acquired from the step one. The third step is to construct the system to assess the prospective staff's aptitude or adaptability. The system would enable to promote the efficiency of assessment and to be useful in their training. This expat assessment system is built with the decision tree of evaluation standard based on the assorting problem solving method. For designing the non-terminal nodes of the decision tree, a new method is proposed utilizing the idea of the association rules, which is a powerful method in data mining. This is done to find out direct factors related to aptitude or suitability for overseas staff. The terminal nodes of the decision tree are to be optimized by Genetic Algorithm (GA) regarding a series of terminal nodes as the individuals forming the linear structure. As a result, the significant factors are found, which are strongly related to aptitude, adaptability and likeliness to be successful overseas. This research has revealed, by applying the system in practice, actual aptitude, skills and personalities required for expats.

A series of α-cyanocinnamamide derivatives was synthesized and evaluated for inhibitory activity against tyrosine-specific protein kinase using intact plasma membrane fractions from an epidermoid carcinoma cell line, A-431 cells. Among these compounds, several novel α-cyano-4-hydroxy-3,5-disubstituted cinnamamide derivatives, e.g., α-cyano-3-ethoxy-4-gtdrixt-5-phenyl-thiomethylcinnamamide (ST 638), showed potent inhibitory activity. The studies on the structure-activity relationship revealed that the presence of the hydroxy group at the 4 position and the double bond in the α-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamamide skeleton was important for potent inhibitory activity, and that the presence of hydrophobic groups at the 3 and 5 positions on the benzene ring also enhanced the inhibitory activity of α-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamamide derivatives.

本研究では、「有馬温泉ゆけむり大学」を実践的なデザイン教育の場として研究を行った。すなわち、「学科間プロジェクト」の教育的効果を再考するために、本イベントの「Tシャツ」、「チラシ」デザイン、及び有志学生による「神戸芸工大雑貨屋さん」、「浴衣DEファッションショー」を開催した。その他イベントとして、「有馬温泉クリスマスツリープロジェクト」のワークショップ、「有馬節分会」の「チラシ」デザインを行った。また、武蔵野美術大学・群馬県立女子大学・立命館アジア太平洋大学に出向き、聞き取り調査を行った。研究の結果、「有馬温泉ゆけむり大学」に参加した学生は、他の学科及び学年を超えた交流の機会ができた。また、特に大阪音楽大学・近畿大学・武庫川女子大学の学生たち及び有馬温泉のスタッフとも交流ができたことは、大変貴重な経験となり、様々な教育効果が期待できる。したがって、「学科間プロジェクト」のカリキュラム開発のための基礎資料を得ることができた。In this studies, we studied that the "Arima Onsen Yukemuri University" was for design practical education. That is, in order to rethink the educational effect of "Interdepartmental Project", of this event "T-shirt", "Flyer" design, and by volunteer students "Kobe Design University Zakkaya san", "Yukata DE Fashion show" were held. As other events, workshop of "Arima Onsen Christmas tree project" , "Flyer" design for "Arima Setsubun E".In addition, visited to Musashino Art University, Gunma Prefectural Women's University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, which were investigated.Results of the studies, students who participated in the "Arima Onsen Yukemuri University" was able opportunity of exchange beyond the school year and other departments. In addition, it becomes a very valuable experience, that the staff of Arima Onsen and students of Osaka College of Music, Kinki University, Mukogawa Women's University also could exchange in particular can be expected to be teaching a variety of effects. Therefore, it was possible to obtain the basic data for curriculum development "Interdepartmental Project".

通信・放送機構のプロジェクトとして、「字幕制作システム」の研究を進めている。この研究の中で、字幕放送利用者が求める最適な字幕表示方法を追求するために、種々の字幕提示方法による実験用字幕番組を制作するとともに、聴覚障害者も含む評価者の協力を得て、制作した実験用字幕番組の予備評価を行った。パソコンを利用した多様な表示方法による実験字幕番組制作システムと、制作した実験字幕番組例、字幕パラメータ・評価者群別などの主観評価実験結果などについて述べる。

本稿は、日本のテレビ番組におけるメラネシア地域とそこで生活する人々の取り上げられ方について検討したものである。対象とした番組は1998年から2002年までの約5年間に放映された44件である。序論の第I章に続く第II章において、メラネシアのなかでとりわけどのような地域や人々が番組の対象としてより頻繁に選び出されているのかという点を明らかにした後、第III章と第IV章では、選び出された地域や人々の描かれ方の分析を行なった。また、第V章では、対称の選択の仕方や描き方をめぐる複数の番組間、あるいは番組と雑誌や図書などの間の参照関係を具体的に跡づけるとともに、そうした関係に対する民族誌的著作物の関与のあり方を明らかにすることも試みた。検討の対象とした番組ではイリアンジャヤやヴァヌアツ、パプアニューギニアの集落部や、腰蓑やペニスケースなどの「伝統的装束」を身につけた人々がとりわけ頻繁に取り上げられていた。また、番組ではもっぱらこれらの地域や人々の「近代的な世界」からの隔絶性が強調され、そうした世界との交流を示す事象は遠景に退けられたり捨象されていた。こうしたなかで、民族誌的著作物は番組製作者側によって番組を制作する際の情報源ないしアイデアの供給源として利用されることにより、対象の選択の仕方や描き方をめぐる参照関係のネットワークのなかに取り込まれていることが明らかになった。結論の第VI章では、こうした状況において人類学者が取り組むべき課題について触れた。

我々は,中高年女性38名の日常生活活動量についてライフコーダと運動日誌を用いて調査した。運動日誌には,「運動」と「生活活動」に分けて記録し,活動内容と活動時間を記録した。ライフコーダによって記録された身体活動量と運動日誌に記録した主観的活動量を比較した。その結果,身体活動量よりも主観的活動量の方が多い評価となり,主観的活動量の中では「運動」より「生活活動」が多かった(p<0.01)。さらにBMI で肥満と判断されたものは主観的活動量を多く評価することが明らかとなった(p<0.05)。運動日誌は達成感や満足感を感じさせ,記録が継続できるような工夫が必要と考えられた。

機械翻訳システムの有効な活用として, 市況速報記事を対象にした日英機械翻訳システムを開発した.システムは, ルール型翻訳とテンプレート型翻訳とのハイブリッド構成であり, 実験では, 文単位で90%, 記事単位で70%の高い翻訳正解率を得ることができた.この評価結果に基づき, 更に対象を決算速報記事に限定し, テンプレート型翻訳による自動翻訳システムALTFLASHを構築した.ALTFLASHは日本語の決算速報を英文で配信する実用システムとして導入され, 従来人手で行われていた翻訳作業に比べ, 処理時間, 翻訳品質, 費用などの面で大幅な改善効果を示した.

C. F. Meyers erste größere Dichtung "Huttens letzte Tage“ kam im Oktober 1871 heraus. Vorher hatte der Dichter nur zwei kleine Bändchen Gedichte veröffentlicht. Jetzt begann seine Schaffensperiode, in der er mit G. Keller zum bedeutendsten Dichter der deutschsprachigen Schweiz wurde. In diesem Sinne ist dieses Werk zwar der größte Meilenstein seines Lebens; aber hier vereinigen sich auch zwei rivalisierende Mächte, die sich später in zwei Richtungen, Lyrik und Prosa, verzweigen mußten. Die vorliegende Arbeit macht sich zur Aufgabe, solche besonders in der Konstruktion zu betrachtenden Eigentümlichkeiten in Bezug auf die Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten des Dichters und ihre Grenzen zu erörtern und, womöglich, den Grund zu ermitteln, warum seine nachherigen Werke sich verzweigen mußten."Hutten“ enthält in der Ausgabe letzter Hand 71 Gedichte und ist in 8 Bücher gegliedert. Man kann die Eigentümlichkeit dieser Dichtung vielleicht daran erkennen, daß sie verschieden bezeichnet worden ist wie "Zyklus“ (W. Linden, A. Zäch), "Balladensammlung“ (M. Nußberger) oder "lyrische Idylle“(R. Faesi). Aber wir brauchen nicht in die unfruchtbare Auseinandersetzung über die Gattung eingreifen, sondern wollen nur vorläufig feststellen, daß es dafür weder Vorgänger noch Nachfolger gibt und daß sie ein einmaliges, höchst persönliches Gebilde ist. In den ersten Büchern dominieren die epischen Elemente, indem die Jugendgeschichte Huttens relativ treu wiedergegeben wird, und manchmal gibt es Lyrisches neben seinen Reminiszenzen oder der Hoffnung auf die deutsche Zukunft, zusammen freilich mit dem Gefühl des Scheiterns und der Selbstaufgabe. Dies Nebeneinander der epischen und lyrischen Elemente geht von Buch zu Buch in etwas Einheitlicheres über, denn das Epische verliert die zeitliche Extension und funktioniert nur noch als Pointilistisches, als das potentiale Motiv des jeweilgen Gedichtes, indem der Tod des Helden immer näher heranrückt. Das könnte vielleicht so ausgelegt werden, daß die Konstruktion dieses Werkes ein Übergang vom Epischen zum Lyrischen ist.Hutten tritt neben Hus und Gustav Adolf als der beliebteste Stoff dergründerzeitlichen Epik auf, besonders unter dem Einfluß des im neuen Reich heftig geforderten Kulturkampfes. Das Versepos ist, nach W. Jordan, die höchste Verkörperung des völkischen Mythos, das immer dann in den Vordergrund tritt, wenn sich die Nation an einem Knotenpunkt ihrer Entwicklung zur führenden Weltmacht befindet. Es entsprach also dem politischen Anspruch der Zeit und erfüllte auch den Erwartungshorizont der meisten Lesenden. Von vielen gründerzeitlichen Versepen sticht unser Werk jedoch dadurch ab, daß es mit dem von allen historischen Wirklichkeiten entfremdeten, einsamen Tod des Helden endet. Trotzdem wird der Eindruck der Gedichte nach und nach klarer und verwirklicht sich die Identifizierung des Bildes mit dem Subjekt, was man vor allem im Versöhnungsprozeß mit dem Tode in den letzten drei Büchern sehen kann. Diese Annahme, daß die Konstruktion dieser Dichtung ein Übergang vom Epischen zum Lyrischen sei, erklärt sich nicht zu Unrecht auch dadurch, daß durch den Tod der epische Gehalt abgeschnitten und die Gedankenwelt des Sterbenden in den Vordergrund gerückt wird.Nun muß gefragt werden, warum Meyer als Helden seines Erstlings Hutten wählte. Dieses Werk hat einige sog. Keimgedichte, die jetzt in H.K.A. wiedergegeben sind. Darunter gibt es eine Skizze, wo nicht nur die letzte Stunde Huttens thematisiert, sondern auch, wie beim endgültigen Werk,

<p>本稿では,沖縄の離島である多良間島の子守風習と保育所の歴史的関係を,アロマザリング・システム(社会化された子育てシステム)のダイナミックな変容過程においてとらえる作業を通して,人間発達研究に時代性と地域性を含むための方途を探った。第一に,沖縄地方に独特な子守である「守姉」の経験の時代推移と,村立保育所の開設契機およびその後の展開に関して,聞き取り調査に基づいて分析した。その結果,守姉は1950年前後生の世代で経験者がピークで,その後段階的に減少し,近年になってやや増加の傾向にあった。保育所の開設(1979年)は,当時の母親たちによる「教育」への期待が背景にあった可能性が示唆された。第二に,守姉と保育所を含む島の子育てのあり方に大きな影響を与えたと考えられる,ライフラインと保育・教育施設の整備,また,人口動態について,資料をもとに分析した。その結果,守姉経験のピーク時期の人口構成は,大人に対して子ども(とくに3歳未満児)が極めて多く,その後は大人増加のトレンドに転じたこと,沖縄返還(1972年)をはさんだ時代に島のライフラインと保育・教育制度が急速に整備されたこと,とくに利水環境の整備が島の子育ての変化とも関わっている可能性があることなどが推察された。最後に,多良間島という固有の地域性と時代性をもつ位置から,現在の発達心理学に内在するいくつかの前提について議論した。</p>

近年の日本における社会問題の一つに少子化の問題がある。少子化の一因として、女性の非婚化や晩婚化の問題がしばしば取り上げられる。女性の非婚化や晩婚化が進んでいる背景には、女性のライフスタイルが多様化した事が考えられる。 そこで本研究では、女性から結婚観やジェンダー観、職業観に関してアンケート調査を行い、女性の結婚観や職業観、そこにズレが生じているかを調査することを目的とした。その結果、本研究の調査対象となった28%の女子大学生が、結婚観や職業観の間にズレが生じている事が明らかになった。また、本研究の調査対象となった女子大学生の望むライフコースは、ゆるく働き続けつつ、早期に結婚し、出産するということ、もしくは子育て期間中は一時的に家庭に入り、子育て後にパートなどで復帰するという事が明らかになった。今後はさらに多くの大学や学年において調査を行い、検討を進めていく必要があるだろう。

<p>We examined two psychological processes of prosocial behavior: feeling gratitude and indebtedness. First, we asked if the value of the behavior for the receiver promotes gratitude; and second if the cost of the behavior for the giver promotes indebtedness. Gratitude and indebtedness were measured as behavioral indices of a <i>quid pro quo</i> (indirect reciprocity and direct reciprocity) to avoid social desirability effects in self-report measures. In Study 1, 119 undergraduates recalled a past experience in which they had been the recipients of prosocial behavior while emphasizing the value, cost, or situation (control) of the event. The level of gratitude was higher, and indirect reciprocity was observed more frequently, in the value condition than in the cost and control conditions. Indebtedness, however, did not differ across the conditions. In Study 2, 59 participants received a gift (the value and cost of which were manipulated) from an imaginary confederate. The value manipulation promoted indirect reciprocity, and both value and cost manipulations encouraged direct reciprocity. Implications for adaptive functions of gratitude in social selection processes are discussed.</p>
