人はその口唇形状を,発話や食事,感情表現などのために自らの意志に基づいて変化させることが可能である.近年,この口唇形状を利用した読唇システムなどが研究されている.しかしながら,多くの研究は 「発話」 という機能に重点を置いており,その他の口の持つ機能に注目しているものは少ない.そこで本研究では口唇形状認識インタフェースの異なる可能性を検討するため,口唇の形状・動きをインタフェースとしたエンタテインメントシステムを提案する.People often change their shape of lips especially when they speak. Then, many researchers focus on recognizing the shape of the lips for "lip reading". However, the shape of lips are also changed when people eat, and when they express their emotion. Furthermore, lips are the part of human body that have high degree of freedom of motion. Then, in this research, we propose to use the shape of lips as human machine interface. In this report, we describe on the entertainment system that utilize shape of lips.

The purpose of this study is to understand the role of rehearsal rooms and stages in creation of a stage drama. For this study, we investigated the entire creation of the play, from the first rehearsal to the public performance. In fact, the actors and staff spent most of their time in the rehearsal room until the play was completed. Therefore, the rehearsal room has to be the same size as the stage and backstage areas to provide the same width and height, as well as all essential facilities. Furthermore, it is also important to plan the rehearsal room comfortable, because sometimes actors and staff may use it to take breaks.

専門分野を異にする音楽=芸能研究者によって構成された本研究は、近現代を中心とした日本の「うた」の変容を、歴史的・地域的にきわめて広い視座から捉え直す研究として始まった。研究の根幹は1920年代以降の日本のポピュラー音楽の展開にあるが、「日本的」な歌舞の源基をなす、能を舞う身体の研究や、明治期における西洋歌唱の導入に伴う異文化混成の研究を含む「総合的」な視野のもとに進められた。漠然と「日本的」とされてきた音楽性の実態を、収集音源から実証的に把握し直した結果、近代の民衆が路上や演芸場で楽しんだ音楽に反映されているのは、なんらかの安定した「民俗音楽的類型」というより、西洋から移入された規範音楽への反発と、にもかかわらず起こった馴化の矛盾的な融合の姿であることが観察された。本研究はまた、日本の流行歌が、欧化政策が分断した「西洋的洗練」対「日本的情緒」の対立項に、アメリカから移入されたポップスが含有する「反クラシック的様式」とが絡む、複雑な構造の中で展開した様相を明らかにした。その成果は、一つには、「演歌の成立と発展」をめぐる書物に、もう一つには「J-POPの正体」をめぐる書物に結実しつつある。近代の米国で「下層民衆」が育んだルーツ音楽が、メディア社会における産業・権力構造の変容と絡みながら、ロックンロールという形式を取るにいたり、それが世界のポップ音楽を革新したいきさつは、一般図書『ビートルズとは何だったのか』(2006)で述べられた。同書が採ったグローバルかつシステム論的な枠組みの中に、演歌ならびにJ-POPの成立と発展を位置づけ、国際的な研究の場に発信していくことが次の課題である。

本論文では,特徴点軌跡のクラスタリングに基づいた人物追跡手法を提案する.混雑環境下において頑健に個々の人物を区別するために,本手法では歩容特徴と局所的な見えの時間変動の一貫性という二つの指標を追跡の枠組みへ導入する.周波数領域における歩容特徴は,生体認証の分野において頻繁に利用されている指標であり,個人を識別するための重要な手掛りであることが知られている.また,局所領域における見えの時間的な変化は,人物の動きが周りと類似する傾向のある混雑環境下において個々の人物を区別するための効果的な指標となる.このような動きと見えの異なる種類の指標を利用することにより,混雑環境下においても安定な追跡を実現することが可能となる.実環境における実験により本手法の有効性を確認した.

GPSなどによる位置情報は主にナビゲーションサービスで利用されてきたが,昨今は,各種のSNSやTwitterに代表される緩いコミュニケーションサービス,マーケティングなどにおいても重要なものとなってきている.しかし一方で,一般ユーザが自分の位置や行動の詳細を公にすることはプライバシ保護の意味で問題がある.そこで,コミュニケーション目的の公開に適した情報を生成するため,コンテクスト全体を曖昧にしつつ,位置とユーザの関連の強さを定量化する手法を提案する.この値は「におい」をメタファとして説明することが出来る.さらに適用イメージとして,お互いの「におい」をユーザ間で共有するSNSを例示する.

SLIM (Smart Lander for Investigating Moon) is the Lunar Landing Demonstrator which is under development at ISAS/JAXA. SLIM demonstrates not only so-called Pin-Point Landing Technique to the lunar surface, but also demonstrates the design to make the explorer small and lightweight. Realizing the compact explorer is one of the key points to achieve the frequent lunar and planetary explorations. This paper summarizes the preliminary system design of SLIM, especially the way to reduce the size.

The comfort of sanitary napkins was examined by means of a questionnaire and through a wearing test. In the wearing test, the microclimate, both the temperature and humidity inside and outside of sanitary napkins, were measured every 10 seconds for 2h. Subjects consisted of 15 young healthy women who sat on chairs for 60 min, then stood and walked for 3 min, and again sat for 57 min under the experimental condition of 26°C and 60% RH. The results obtained were as follows: 1) The questionnaire showed that more than 60% of the subjects complained of sultriness discomfort during the menstruation period; 2) The wearing test showed that a high-humidity climate was formed in the space between the napkin and the skin, which caused subjective discomfort; 3) The correlation between the discomfort from the sanitary napkins and the difference in absolute humidity inside and outside of the napkins suggested that the discomfort from napkins could be reduced by a freer flow of water vapor.

Within limbs of typical animals, there are bi-articular muscle-tendon complex crossing two joints. In particular, it is known that the bi-articular muscle-tendon complex between hip joint and knee joint contributes to the dynamic motion such as high jumping and fast running. This realizes transfer of the torque between the two joints and storage and reuse of the elastic energy. In this paper, we introduce the muscle-tendon complex between hip joint and knee joint to the hind legs of the quadruped robot. In the vertical jump simulation, we confirmed that the mechanism enabled the leg to transfer the torque between the two joints and the leg with the mechanism realized higher jump than the one without it. A prototype of the mechanism has been fabricated also.

Psychological functions of sharing among junior high school friends were examined and the relationship between shared objects and psychological functions of sharing was investigated. Participants were junior high school students (N=1068). The result of factor analyzing items on psychological functions of sharing indicated the following six factors: "motivation", "increased pleasure", "friendly evaluation from others", "increased feeling of burden", "achievement evaluation from others", and "increased negative evaluations from others." Descriptions of objects shared with friends were classified into eight categories and psychological function of sharing scores was compared for the most important shared object. Result indicated the following; 1) "psychological sharing" such as "feelings" and "goals" had positive functions. 2) "Material sharing" such as "things" did not have either a positive or negative functions. 3) "Behavioral sharing" such as "chatting" and "school activities" had negative functions. These results suggest that friendships that included "psychological sharing" increased "motivation" and "pleasure" in junior high school students, and was deeper than friendships based on "behavioral sharing" and "material sharing".

本稿では,公的研究資金の選択的配分の前提としておこなわれる研究評価事業によってもたらされる意図せざる結果について検討する。英国の研究評価事業を事例として取り上げ,同事業が研究活動テーマや方法論の均質化に結びついていく可能性について見ていく。焦点をあてて検討するのは,商学・経営学の領域における論文化の傾向である。この領域では,研究評価事業に際して提出される研究成果においてジャーナル論文の占める比率が急速に増加していった。これは,同領域が偏狭な業績主義によって席捲され,「ジャーナル駆動型リサーチ」が優勢になってしまう可能性を示唆するものである。

在宅医療・緩和ケアカンファレンス(以下、本会という)は、北多摩南部医療圏にて多職種連携推進研修を開催してきた。今回、阿部らが開発した「医療介護福祉の地域連携尺度」を一部本地域に合わせて改変したものを用いて、本会の取組みを客観的に評価した結果、有用な知見が得られたので報告する。 調査は、75名を対象とし多職種が集まる本会以外の研修会への参加頻度も含め、過去3年間で、「本会の研修会参加6回以上」、「本会以外の研修会も含めて6回以上参加」、「多職種連携の研修会参加6回未満」の3群に分け、連携尺度スコアをKruskal-Wallis検定にて検証した。post-hoc testとしては、Scheffe法を用いた。 最終的に、15%以上の欠損値が存在した1名を除外した、74名の回答を分析した。過去3年間において、「本会の研修会参加6回以上」、「本会以外の研修会も含めて6回以上参加」、「多職種連携の研修会参加6回未満」の3群間における連携尺度スコアのKruskal-Wallis検定の結果、有意差がみられた。また、多重比較の結果「本会の研修会参加6回以上」群の連携尺度スコアは、「本会以外の研修会も含めて6回以上参加」群および「多職種連携の研修会参加6回未満」群と比較して有意に高かった(P<0.001)。 地域での多職種連携推進には、その地域で開催されている研修会へ年2回以上の参加が推奨されると考えた。
